A shock and awe kind of episode. But I wasn't shocked. Maybe because I am desensitized by cliched BW kind of episodes. Long one guys but it was brain food for an analytical mind, went overboard, feel free to skip...A very strong indication of where this is all headed; Shyamu along with Garima are a blast from the past. Shyamu is here for revenge coz he didn't seem to care a hoot. He was there to get the Malik's/R's. An entry into RM is not his only goal, there is a bigger purpose; this coz of the callousness with which he executed his plot. It isn't just about Khushi, the Raizada fortune or the humiliation he suffered when he was thrown out.

Well, those who didn't expect this to happen, think again. Did you expect ASR to be kidnapped in broad daylight from a crowded airport, nahi na? Did you expect Khushi to accept an apology without putting up a fight, nahi na? So why are we surprised today? Sensationalizing miscarriage/abortion is the name of the game...Not sure why, where I come from we revere motherhood...Why is TV different? Darn, it's the TRP's and this is tried and true.

Those thinking how a father could do this to his child, his flesh & blood? Well, think again...When was he ever the father? Biological father, yes! But does that make him a father? The day Anjali said to him, he was going to be a father, did you see him jump up & down? He was more worried about his plotting & scheming...Throughout Anjali's pregnancy, did you ever see him excited about the baby? I know I didn't, the time he did he was faking it or trying to deceive a naive Anjali or convincing saale saab that he cared. So that makes him a sperm donor, bas...Only difference is he knows he impregnated his wife...

Now we have taken the cliched route, do you seriously think the baby is dead...? I think my old theory is still good, Shyam has stolen the baby bribing the Doc. Don't take my word for it...My gyan is from what I have seen in BW movies, it is easy to do in India... One of the reasons - PH cannot afford to have baby artists on the set. Well they could have brought a stuffed toy but then when you don't want to sport a bump, do you want to sport a mommy with an infant? So the next best thing is to have the dad steal the baby...Happens all the time in bitter divorces, doesn't make either parent less of a parent...Just selfish parents who want to go one up on the other, child being neglected in the process...

Tonight she lost her beautiful smile...

Onto Anjali - did she deserve this, HECK NO! I wouldn't wish this even for a fictional character. She carried this baby for 7-8months, the bonding has happened without even the mom noticing it. A mother losing a child at any point in life is the worst thing that can happen to any woman. Mothers refuse to visit the grave even when it's the unborn...So I feel for this girl...Her only mistake was blindly trusting her husband...With a little support from dadi and Anji, Shyam could plot this one easily...Dadi and Anji unknowingly are co-conspirators...Anji I can understand but dadi had blinkers on...Which means dadi was wrong in her judgment, she just goes by her purani soch...Probably a similar mistake in the past too...

ASR will rise in all of this and the person who will help him achieve this goal will be none other than Khushi Kumari Gupta...

It is now more necessary than before that Khushi be with ASR. So even though the big fat wedding is called off, it is essential for KKG to be in RM. Everyone is traumatized, KKG is the only one who can bring it all together. Yes, a typical SP bahu in the making...But this time I want to see the SP bahu rise...She will be the woman behind this man, if the show of support was an indication...Khushi is their hope...

The only person who can handle ASR is Khushi, she can take his wrath and win him over. Nani knows it and this time ASR knows it too...A person who never confided to anyone about his mother's death opened up to her...There was a reason for that too...It is for Khushi to realize the tormented side; it is for Khushi to understand the man behind all the anger...ASR may distance himself from her now coz he is grieving...But the girl now understands him... she will not quit trying...She will be back in his life...

Nani was the one who suggestively pushed Khushi onto ASR...Signs of things to come.... A wedding 360 could happen right away if nani imposes her will but I'd rather see it coming from ASR but that may take time...More tamasha to come for sure...

Possible scenarios

Shyam's entry isn't guaranteed with this dhamaka...ASR simply being more cautious!

Will this bring babuji to the forefront? Coz he was the first victim?

In a state of trauma Anji may refuse to see Shyam, just because she thinks he is a boogie man in her delusional state, not really thinking...Coz we know she doesn't think...Now that is the BW dhamaka I would love to see to resurrect Anjali...Coz right now, her character is dead...If they have to breathe life into that character, this is one way...

A delusional Anjali could be repulsed by her bro too coz he kept her away from her husband...

Anjali delusional could mean Khushi taking center stage. Khushi will be the one to bridge the gap between the bro & sis...coz that is her character sketch...she is naturally gifted to empathize...Sanka as Patch Adams, highly likely...Anji may well reach out to her...This will mean ASR initiating a shaadi 360...

But I am not the creative, so Shyam entering and continuing to smooth talk the women in RM will be the go to track...And they have always picked the easy route...

A strong intelligent Anjali is a good parallel track but it will never happen...

Mother of all cliched scenes would be a stolen baby track which will guarantee Shyam's entry...So Puri Kuma/Aloo Kumar still a possibility.

There were plenty of holes in the execution but they were all to sensationalize Anjali's plight, women to sympathize with her blind faith, even in agony she seeked him out, not minding the glass shards...Pativrata naari protecting her pati...They were reaching out to the average woman who feel for this girl and can relate to her woes...Shed a few tears for her... Little do they know, average women have thinking, functional brains...

The mehendi scene should have been my centerpiece coz it was really beautifully done...The entire family danced beautifully...Naniji, buaji, mamiji...Pura paisa wasool act...I loved it! Reminded me of buaji's lines, sangeet nahi hoga...This was the mini sangeet...

Buaji and ASR dancing, priceless...Khushi was her flirty self and ASR wasn't far behind...Last time, he was jealous of Nanheji but this time he was cheering them on...He is proud of this girl, she is a charmer...He was looking at her adorably as she danced away...She is now safe in his heart...

A warm hug oblivious to those around them as all the others just rejoiced around this beautiful couple...

There were strong indications that in trying times their love will flourish...We have seen it in the past, we will see it again...This time nani watching over them, she is their guardian angel...Love will triumph if this is an indication...They will win!

Friday once again ended with a bang, but one of a different kind. I don't think anyone saw this coming, we've always seen Shyam's plans backfiring yet this time his most callous scheme succeeded. Anjali got hurt and in the process lost her baby, a dark ending to finish off the week but not all was dark there were some moments of happiness before the impending storm.

The mehendi/sangeet continued with NK and Akash starting things off with the famous Mehendi Laga Ke from DDLJ. I will admit I had doubts about this song being used given the last two attempts failed to click but this one did! I thought the CVs did a really good job incorporating it into the show, it would've been perfect had they not included Anjali and Shyam's scenes. I mean really was it necessary?? That could've been held off until the song was completed with continuation of the dhols but overall I won't complain too much since it was well done. I still loved it

How good was it to see the Raizadas and Guptas coming together and having fun?? Manorama and Bua putting their differences aside and letting loose on the dance floor, much different from what happened at Payal and Akash's sangeet - I loved it especially Arnav's priceless expression! Add to that Nani showing she too can let loose was a moment not to be missed

My favorite though was obviously Arnav and Khushi's moments during the dance. These two are in love and no longer hide it, the silent exchange of words, the hug it was all beautifully done. These two have been through a lot and deserve the world of happiness but sadly their happily ever after is not meant to be, yet that is.

Is it any surprise that Shyam could be this cold hearted?? In one word, no! I still have yet to watch the scene in which he tortured Shashi and left him to die, this is someone who tried to kill Arnav and left Khushi tied in the middle of the road so to see him do this to Anjali came as no shock. He was an all out villain in this episode, no remorse for what he did to his wife or his child. He is beyond redemption at this point

Before this episode I wondered how this guaranteed his entry back at RM but now I know, Anjali is going to be devastated as she bonded with this baby and was looking forward to be a mother. Anjali will not be able to take the shock and we've seen drastic measures she's taken in the past, so Dadi will try to convince the family that Anjali needs Shyam since she is dependant on him.

Shyam's return to RM is a given but it won't be as easy as that, he has made many enemies who will be watching him like a hawk especially Arnav who never wanted him near his sister or wife again, the side of ASR he tried to move past will soon re-emerge. Arnav is about to enter a dark place and its only Khushi who can pull him through this, it is like another 360 of sorts. I am interested in what this track has in store, how will Khushi re-enter RM? Will it be because of ASR, Nani or both? How will Shyam be dealt with and is there more to his revenge that meets the eye?

Overall, it was a heartbreaking episode but one that I was actually ok with. Here's why, what happened in IPKKND is nothing that has not been shown in other serials before. I know its cold, its sick but it is not out of the ordinary and sadly TRPs thrive on these type of things. The feedback on their Facebook page will shape where things go from here, so all hope is not lost. Hang in there if you can.

"Bina diwali ka dhamaka" - dhamaka indeed, a straight 180 from the joyous celebration of yesterday to edge of your seat gripping drama today. I do have a feeling there is more to the baby drama that is not meeting the eye.

The tale of Arnav and Anjali:
Arnav : After a long time he has broken the shackles of the past and looking forward to his future with Khushi. A man who was afraid of displaying emotions, now does not think twice in hugging Khushi in front of his family during the mehendi dance. Just when things looked so right, once again they are about to go so wrong for him.

Anjali : A wife whose blind faith in her husband makes her court danger and tragedy befalls. Even as she is badly hurt she does not stop to think about Shyam and she worries to ensure that he is not caught.

Arnav and Anjali : Every time Arnav has taken steps towards happiness, his road has been blocked due to crisis in Anjali's life

It was his mother's suicide on Anjali's marriage day that morphed a boy into a man overnight - ASR, devoid/suppressing all his emotions and automatically assuming the caretaker role for Anjali when it should have been the other way around.

The day he was about to profess his love for Khushi, the terrace incident and Anjali's pregnancy cut it short. He married Khushi in rage and as a payback to Shyam for his Di.

Now that Khushi and Arnav have finally put the past behind them and looking forward to their married life together, Anjali's tragedy threatens to shake their very foundation of trust and love.

Will this shock shake Anjali out of her delusion and help her understand what is wrong? Will she take the elder sister's role finally and guide her Chote and herself through the dark period?

Khushi will not allow Arnav face these dark times alone and she is going to be his rock and pillar through these rough times. I do not want to see a self sacrificing Khushi taking the blame on herself.

* You had to take away the viewers joy of picturing the entire song on Arhi? I guess it was too much to ask on their mehendi day? 😡
* Anjali has been almost redeemed from the way her character was butchered last few weeks. When she comes out of her unconsciousness, literally and figuratively can we please have an Anjali we can relate and empathize with?

Wonderful post Sari; only you could have written such an objective take on the episode👏👏.

RANT ALERT: Probably for the first time coming from me and I really hope it is the last.

I do not question the story the CV's have in mind, they have a right to unfold it however they like; I do not care what DB's initial role was and what she re-negotiated because to me no actress has the capability to turn the script around completely and definitely not a parallel lead. Maybe the miscarriage was needed to further the story, hopefully this is the beginning of the end of Shyam and a strong Anjali who snaps out of her SKD at a time when everyone fears she will break like a porcelain doll.

My biggest peeve today was with the timing and execution😡. The whole so called re-marriage track has been eclipsed by negativity and suspense since the beginning but today that just converted into a full blown doom and gloom😭😭. The whole idea of the remarriage was to give Khushi better memories of her wedding and let her have a feeling of completeness of rasams she holds so dear. So how is the memory of today's disaster any better than her forced marriage night? For the rest of ARHI's life; the mehendi ceremony will be the day Di dear lost her unborn child. What kind of sad twisted mentality is that, to overshadow a happy event initiated to take away the pain of the past; to become a day highly grieved in future🤢?

The editing today was a disaster; what was with the hawa mein kiss, if they could show 20 shots of Anjali limping along with bloody feet, why not show one scene that intended to be a kiss properly? Ok you want to bring on the doom; at least do justice to a happy scene you took the trouble to shoot. "Mehendi laga ke rakhna" is one of my all-time favs; it was a beautifully choreographed sequence today👍🏼 but I do not think I can even watch/hear the song again without getting an image of Anjali helplessly limping along towards disaster. It was just terrible execution to intermingle the celebration song with the impeding horror. I could neither enjoy the happiness and love ARHI left for those brief moments nor did I feel any sadness/shock at Anjali's anxiety. The scene just left me feeling blank and dazed😕😕.

Finally, the audience has been looking forward to an Arnav-Anjali confrontation when he learns of his foolish sister's betrayal. I so do not see that happening because after this there is no way anyone can blame Anjali; she is the biggest victim her; she has paid a big price for her foolishness and blind trust in the devil. If this actually paves way for Shyam's return; it will be ARHI who will once again suffer the most. It has been a year since Shyam hurt Babuji; how long is evil going to triumph over good? The past still has not even begun to unveil itself; God alone knows what tragedy that brings upon the star crossed lovers. Unlike others I have no hopes of ASR's shatir dimag making a return and him connecting the dots; I see him going on an intense guilt trip about not being able to protect his Di and enjoying himself while disaster befell Di; Khushi is going to be heartbroken and devastated seeing her Arnavji withdraw into a shell and all this even before the past interrupts the present and future. Yes i am hopeful this will deepen the bond between ARHI because she will be his rock and strength to overcome the odds.

I understand this is a dark love story; if there was a plan to turn events around this way with the miscarriage, why bring in the suspense of the past already. Could we not have enjoyed a couple weeks of pure happiness and romance without the Garima-Dadi angle hanging over our heads.

Sari, kudos to you girl, you managed to compile such a nice and optimistic post for an almost good episode.

I'm not going to lie, whatever said and done, today was a good episode. Sure, it wasn't esthetically pleasing, but story-wise, they took it up a notch. They know they have the 2.7 regardless, they want that 4.3+ back that they once had shortly before a wedding track on this show. And by all means, everyone is justified in striving to reach their potential and they can and will. Give them 2-3 weeks max and watch them shoot up in their TRPs. This stuff sells. Sad, but true.

I know I haven't been the biggest Anjali advocate and believe me I say it again, being the youngest sibling myself, if I had older siblings who were so dependent, as much as I love them, there would be a time I would personally want to snap them out.
Alas, the universe has done it for her.

I see this as her rising point. And really CVs and Daljeet (yes I'm sure you're a nice person, but hey there's also a "good actress" tag you can aim for) and this track will be "make or break" for this character. Period. They can either redeem her and bring out that fierce protective sister and mother and let her take her own form of "Maa Kali" to bring justice to all the shit Shyam has ever done. Or, they can make her weaker.
I really really hope, it is the former.

Arnav will object. He will call the best specialists to treat his sister. But, constant nag and unapproval will drive him to the point where he will have to "bend" so to say in front of Shyam and get him home for his sister.
But, it will be because of Khushi. She will be his rock and by his side and will give him all the strength and assurance.
This will lead to a private 360 in the temple. The whole point of all this was "pheras" and "aashirwaad" so there will be a rep from Arnav's side: Nani and there will be a rep from Khushi's side: Bua and/or Babuji and Garima.

At this point, the CVs have been smart and opened many possibilities, so any way they take cannot be bad. Either it'll do wonders for the TRPs, or it'll do wonders for us Arnav-Khushi lovers or if we're lucky and I personally feel the CVs will do this, they'll mix it up a little and give us a mix of both once the drama has solved its purpose with the TRPs over the next 2 weeks atleast.

I thought it was a fab episode. Intense, emotional, gripping and packed with drama. I was at the edge of my seat the whole time.This should bring them the trps for sure because the indian audience loves this stuff and the future of IPK looks bright. (yes it does. Don't glare at me SG's)😃

I understand we all wanted a grand wedding with no issues..

But from what i've heard of this PH. They don't know how to throw a wedding without drama and i'm holding onto Sanaya's word in an interview that Khushi will have a grand wedding.

Miscarriage does not mean shaadi is called off but we have a delay of say 2-4 weeks?

So wedding abhi baaki hai..Muskuraye SGs Muskuraye. 😃Shaadi hai...

I'm not a fan of Anjali. I cannot stand any of her scenes and always FF through them.

Today I felt for her. She is so crazy and blind in her love for Shyam, that she held off her injury and pain to look for her husband and make sure he is safe.

On the other hand we have Shyam, who is crazy over money, ASR's wealth and Khushi and can go to extremes to get them. Even kill his unborn child.

So Cvs well done for producing an episode that made us feel for characters we don't care a fig about.👏

Only complaint I have with the cvs is, why on earth did you guys merge Anjali scene s with the song? Saara satyanash kardiya! I know I mentioned it this morning but I never meant it yo!

It would have been simpler and more impactful to keep both scenes separate. Even a dopey like me knows separate scenes would have worked better. What on earth where you guys smoking???🐷

Actually I have another complaint.

What was that air kiss??😕

or rather why did you make it look like an air kiss? We all saw he leaned in, close, and then there was clear snip and disconnect in the scene showing a 5cm gap.😲

So why did it look like a puppy sniffing a bone?

But i'm the puppy and you threw me the bone and I took it because i'll take any Arshi scene innit?😳

But on the other hand. Hehehe ASR and his PDA. In front of all the Raizadas and Stoppy! Wah! And Khushi isn't far behind. She's catching on..😉

Whattay beautiful scene with them in the middle and the family around them.

And that hug was better than all the hugs I have seen except the first one. Pyaar bhari hug. Awww.🤗

Nani. I love you! ❤️You are such a romantic! Pushing chotti at Chotte and dancing like there is no tomorrow and if your face during the hand hold clip at the end is any indication. You are the new cupid..😃

one word…WOW!! this is what came 2 my mind as the episode started n went on n on n on…for once i felt when is this ending n checked my watch….n believe u me..that is a rare scenario with me watching ipk..it is always the other way round….did i like miscarriage n baby dead scenario…hell no….would i be ranting away in my post….not at all…this was according to me a trp clincher episode….the only fault (or as sugar pointed out…a deep marketing strategy) was the absence of promo….i agree with sugar if they had shown the promo..half of online junta wouldnt have tuned in…looking at the hysteria caused on fb page and IF….so maybe this was a good ploy….whatever the case may be…this sure garnered sympathy for anjali…even from people on this forum who thought anjali cant evoke that passion or sentiment in viewers' hearts, given her betrayal to a loving bro, arnav….yours truly included….

anjali and her pathos, was quite evident on her face as she moves on looking for her husband, shards notwithstanding, the only motive 2 save her husband, forgetting herself or the logical steps of removing the shard n taking care of it…she was not thinking about herself that moment….she is so in delusional love with a scheming dark guy….anjali has sure negotiated her contract well…have 2 say that….whatever the case may be….all i wish for is the story which was intended 2 be should remain the same coz the plot is above all actors….n i really dont think any actor in the entire cast has that kind of influence over the PH…..

the entire scene of merrymaking in the hall downstairs and anjali walking in painful slow motion had a whole bollywoodish feel to it….i know people feel they have been cheated of a straight forward romantic remarriage track….but who knows…maybe this would bring in the much desired trps..which a permutation combination of various tracks were not able 2 bring….lets wait till wed…im sure the PH is also waiting with baited breath….

arnav and khushi …what to say…they r the most adorable, good looking, romantic couple everrr….30 cm distance in peck scene notwithstanding😆…..a super gorgeous khushi dances away as her laat governor looks on indulgently at her….pulls her close…plants a kiss..which was goofed up by the most idiotic editing team ever….btw…khushi is super lucky to have a surprisingly accomodative sasuraal….backless choli, kiss and hug and full on PDA…n noone minds it….not that im complaining….but given the lectures on tradition Lavanya got from nani…it is just laughable…whatever..go ahead asr…we are sitting 2 watch the romance…u can choose ur spot…poolside or living room…

arnav's acting was spot on in the hospital scene…he really talks thru his eyes….the pain, the sadness for his sister's loss..for his own loss was quite well played….and khushi holding his hand with a shot of nani in the backdrop…was sure symbolic of the things to come…with nani supporting the nuptials of arnav khushi in the mayhem which is bound to follow….dadi was surprisingly on screen for a very limited time..n i dont quite remember if the camera focussed on her for too long in the hospital scene…of course she never forgets 2 look for garima and then she never forgets 2 leave the matter aside as well…bah…who cares…

all i can say is im quite intrigued 2 see how things play out from now on….and im thinkin' and hopin' the trp audience follows suit…we deserve better trps if not a decent romantic track

In my 15 months of watching this show today was a second occasion when I was truly repulsed, saddened and appalled.

The first was the infamous terrace scene with the Shyam & Khushi hug where a situation was created such to make a character look weak and manipulated for sensational impact. A misunderstanding had to be created by all means hence a cheap shot was taken. Today was as a hard blow in an attempt to create a huge "twist" in the story and the lives of its characters. Yet another cheap stunt to create "shock and awe" . A husband so crazy for revenge at the cost of his wife and unborn child and an unsuspecting women who has no clue of the betrayal. The play was pathetic six months ago as it was today. Makes we wonder that creators and story writers who have done wonders with building such beautiful characters and their love journey have to stoop so low for thrills.

i had blocked that terrace scene in my mind and so will this one with Anji falling off the stairs and Shaym grinning in the background with satisfaction. Hurts my sensibilities at so many levels. You cannot kill a baby for entertainment. It is just wrong.

Anjali has been on my mind a lot lately more so as the csv have been pushing her down our throats for the past one week. I have been having a hard time understanding her and what she wants. She wants her make belief world where she has her sweet talking husband and her ever loving brother as well. The only person who could ever shatter that illusion can be no one else but Anjali. Her brother shoving her husband out or , Khushi providing evidence against him, mami reporting on his divorce conversation..nothing, nothing can or could break that blind trust. Anjali is the only one who can oust Shyam all she needs to do is to see it for herself.

Is thsi Anjali's path to self-realization and in some way jerking her out of her past as well ? The loss of her baby is going to depress her and be a constant reminder of her pain. Will ArHI slowly and steadily help her see for herself what she refuses to see. Will this ultimate loss make her stand up for herself and take a stance against her husband? I would so much like it to be. When people lose everything some find the courage to find strength within them to rise again. Arnie & Khsuhi do so the question is will Anjali be able to stand up. This to me can be "nayi soch" , a chance to break away from the past and fell free. Arnie has been trying and so should Anjali.

As I said a sad day in IPK land for how I wish this was done in an artistic, creative and sensitive manner than a BW style falling off the stairs , entire family pushing the stretcher and a doctor saying I can save only one life... Makes a mockery of every small gesture and move that i like IPK for. The show did not need this but it seems the PH & SP do , I hope they can justify this storyline to themselves.

There were several good bits that got overshadowed by the drama. Wish they had given us an uninterrupted DDLJ song without Shyamali so I could replay the well choreographed sequence

Sananya & Karan were exceptional and so were others . I particularly loved the public hug which was spontaneous and natural between 2 people who love each other to bits. No embarrassment or thought of people around . Just the need to be together . Loved that few minutes.

The remarriage at this point seem pointless. When the two did not need any ceremonies to be called husband ' wife this show of rasms now seems more bogus. The two need to do a private ceremony with witnesses and finish this once for all . The next sh*t that will fly around is the past and Garima's part in it. At this point it is hard for me to imagine the two to be separate but I will not be surprised if Arnie hardens and Khsuhi once again needs to find inroads to his heart.

The story is about the leads and their love story , there is no doubt in my mind about it. The didid ki saut book has been closed and now it is about Didi ka future'. I hope ArHi stay strong and hold on to each other for all the difficult times they are to face in the future.

I know 3 months of 2.5 average trp made the CVs bring earth shattering dhamaka to bring lost audience back. I am upset because both the wedding tracks have ruined for the couples that I love so much. Could this not happen after pheres were done, during ring type ritual??

Another reason because I am thinking the baby is killed simply because of the Tellyland woman do not want to play mom on screen. I hate when they kill babies for reasons like this and for drama.

Who knows what to come? I don't even know I have enough love left in me to wait and watch.

It would be good to ASR rise and it would be good see Khushi bring his strength thru this. But, it's been long since we got anything we hoped for.

For the first time in a long time I got to watch this episode during the day and actually post early in the EDT evening! What a dhamaka it was... Sari, maybe it didn't come as a surprise to you, but I was shocked. 😲 I figured we'd get some hospital drama to bring Shyam back into RM, but Anjali losing the baby seemed way too dramatic and pointless plot wise simply because the baby is Shyam's negotiating chip. But now the suggestion is that there is major deception behind the scenes and the baby will be revealed to be alive and well for a future dhamaka!!! 😡😡😡

The thing is I don't recognize this show any more. It isn't the one I fell for in the first place. That one was a strong romance between two stubborn people, as different as chalk and cheese but with an irresistible pull towards each other. All the drama around them was the context is which their love and their hate waxed and waned. So when the villain unleashed his bag of murder tricks doomed to fail, it was possible to ignore all the plot holes and the appalling contrivances because it was all in the service of the morance.

This is however a brave new IPK world where a new order of writers is in place - drama first, last and foremost, the morance IS the backdrop. There were numerous plot contrivances with the Anjali mishap which required much suspension of disbelief. Despite all that if the show had managed to create some measure of identification with Anjali, there's no way you don't feel for the character. But as it is, it seemed like a tragic waste of dramatic licence. The pace however was brisk and the action moved very swiftly, so if you like OTT drama this was the ticket.

As for the morance, the DDLJ song ought have been hugely fun and satisfying. But it was interwoven with the drama. Even if you didn't care about the drama the cuts away from the song made it distracting. It cast a huge shadow on the fun and for me it was hard to enjoy. Barun Sobti still seems a bit off to me. Usually this is the kind of stuff he eats up... but he seemed a bit aloof and disconnected. Not sure what the director is thinking with the way this is being presented.

Only one word to describe how this is going - Satyanash! We're headed for major doom and gloom and a protracted spell at that. Now I'm no longer sure if or when the shaadi will happen. It seems certain that if it happens this will not be a happy event - what a sad comment to make about a show that was intended first and foremost to be an intense mornace!

For me show detox seems imminent... although I will give them a week to show me where this going. This is the kind of OTT drama I'd expected soaps to have but IPK seemed different hence its appeal. Now ... the show has joined the pack. What a downer of a week in IPK. Asli Duniya is just miles ahead... thanks Devi Maiyya!

I'm stealing some time off from family to post, but time to check back in with my fun asli duniya and leave satyanash sapnon ki duniya behind... what a heck of a messed up idea is that! For everyone in the US here's to a great labor day weekend, everyone else happy wala regular weekend. 🤗🤗🤗
