the tragedy of the missed manicure

Today's episode ' fast-paced but hurried and choppy.

Show, please remember detail is everything and research is your friend.

Kitchen scene good. But do you really think RK will take roti sabzi to set in Tupperware boxes? Where is the nutritionist prescribed macrobiotic diet?

And similarly, where is the money Pads was counting the other day? The whole bania scene was so contrived and ill-written. Better to have given Padmini a message through one of her neighbours.

The manicure pedicure scene in the trailer could have been brilliant but was sadly mishandled. We would have loved to see the 'sub-dom' scene setting and forced casual intimacy of the manicure, all orchestrated by RK. But this lovely set-up wasbotched up spectacularly by the faux! drama about the supposedly demeaning pedicure. FFS, MB was a beautician-- she is used to doing pedicures. Remember your own back story, people!

I am not even going to COUNT the things that were horribly wrong with the Padmini RK scene. All sets are clearly marked. P can't turn up at a set without knowing where she is.

And I am getting v irritated by how poorly the show is depicting the production of a film. Every detail is wrong. Actors can't hire, fire or pay artistes. Lights can't come on magically in a moment. Please do your research writers. Please, please contrive to show a more authentic shooting scenario. It shouldn't be hard. You are a production. You are a set! You know how these things work because you see them every day! Please get your writers to actually see a film shoot for one day! Please!

The home scene was ok but MB was too filmy. Being filmy with uberfilmy RK is not effective.

The blackmail track with Step!Namoonas could be interesting.

Oh show! You promise so much and deliver so little!

you r right i am agree with u one day my father was seeing the show with me and he loudly shout whats rubbish i know that its fiction but every fiction base on some truth or story line we saw several films they are trying to make film near reality but what kind of this show who are very far from reality if they want to popularize this show they should include some truth side of the film industry.
vivian is doing fabulous job or entire madhubala team is working hard but reality is that writer and producers should think about it.

The framing of the manicure scene-- (and here we see RK as the literal director of the scene) M seated before/below RK serving him is surely classic sub-dom. Superficially, of-course, that is. But RK can control and direct only these superficial settings, hoping that these will ultimately translate to total domination over M.
Wouldn't you agree?

dear thats not sub-dom relationship. in sub-dom relationship, the girl believes that dom is righi in everything..she does everything to make him happy, even pain is not pain. But madhu is doing a ''job'' she doesn't ''want'' to do it, or she wouldn't have looked at him like she is feeling insulted, when he asked for pedicure...yeah, its superfacial, thats my point they are not sub-dom...and dom doesn't want their sub to shouting and angry as rk did...he went through whole paddy insulting scene to make madhu react , be a sherni, an equal

umm! hence my use of the term superficial. repeatedly! ie a seemingly sub -dom relationship and a seeming victory for RK. Don't be patronising, please. Argumentative is good. Disagreeing with me is even better, especially if you have a cogent argument. But calling me dear in that tone is not welcome. Thanks!😊

I have said my POV abt. sub-dom so won't repeat it again.

@blue i have a bad habit of saying ''yaar or yr'' so i am using dear term instead to stop myself, so dear or the ''tone'' neither are intentional
