Jai is not confused

jai compares his feelings for bani and pia.He says that pia made him lose his senses whereas bani got him back etc, etc......

He still doesn't want to call what he feels for bani love becoz jai has never known that feeling before.Therefore he keeps saying --shayad, perhaps. could be.

with sonali, roshni and pia madam he was always in control.He called the shots.He knew exactly what he felt for them.He was comfortable with those feelings .He understood them.They were simple to understand.When things did'nt work out HE terminated his relationship with roshni and he dumped sonali for pia. Unfortunately pia ji ditched him.She took control of the situation albeit unintentionally.Jai's ego was hurt and he was ferociously angry with her for humiliating him.

With Bani it was a different story.He knew what he wanted to do with her.Humiliate her,emotionally batter her, break her spirit etc. But remember this was all in anger.He was just lashing out. But did it work.Sometimes it did.But whenever there was a battle of wits,when it really counted, Bani came on tops but without hurting his dignity.Unbeknownst to poor Jai she got under his skin so much so that when his hate changed to something else, jai had no clue WHAT HAD HIT HIM.Imagine the great jai walia completely lost the plot.

what he feels for bani,he says he doesn't know becoz love isn't an adequate word to describe what he feels for her.He feels much more for her.No wonder he's not able to answer others when they ask him if it is love.Love for him is what he felt for roshni and pia.For bani he feels what can't be described in words.Perhaps no word exists for what he feels for her. Therefore whenever he talks of bani he's groping for words.

He does say pia was his want,desire but bani is his need.Now one can do without desires but one must have what one needs.

Great analysis!!! but for a smart business tycoon he sure is aduffer when it comes to emotions!!!
Everyone else, family firends etc (except for that stupid Pia!!!) knows that he LOVES Bani in the fullest, puresest sense of the word but he can't admit it!!!

I think as he has stated in his thoughts to himself (when Pia visited him in his room when Bani was stuck in the fire) "Pyar - the meaning of this word to him is Dhoka" he is really scared of the word "LOVE"....which is why he doesn't label what he feels for Bani as that.

He stated to Aditya during Rano's paag phere rasam (if someone has that video please pst it - July 28th epi) that what he feels for Bani is on an even higher level tha "PYA".

But alas, all I want is to see him state / confess that he loves her and her to say she loves him. No more beating around the bush lets tie the bow get them re-married and move on the the Raashi-Ranveer story with Mamaji and Mamiji guiding them all the way!!!!

Agreed to all that, buts its high time he pinpoints love as a part of all that he feels for her. By saying that, I mean that Jai does feel much more than love for Bani. She is his need, his guide, his truth, and his love too. He talks about everything she is to him, which is 100% true, except that she is his love, which is equally true too.

I guess his need/love for Bani will be expressed or I should say the need/love will get spoken words only after he realises that Bani might not love him,need him the way he needs her. That will happen after he comes to know about her love for Pushkar before the marriage..
