Why are TRP'S low

I finally cracked down why the IPK TRP is low compared to other shows with weaker story line.

IPK is telecasted in the same time slot as Ballika Vadhu. At the moment BV has an equally interesting storyline as IPK. Bv is an older show compared to IPK and probably has a loyal fan following. Hence the audience is getting confused between two romantic shows. BV has a romantic track but the romance is different from IPK. The audience is getting split. Hence I am sure that had the competition from BV not been so tough IPK would have fared much better on the TRP chart.

I further quote the example of green tea drinking Mama's boy and Aachar saga. Why are the TRP higher because there is no competition in the time slot. The green tea boy has better looks than his counterpart in the same time slot. So the audience watches the show which offers better eye candy.

Combined TRP of BV and IPK last week was 7.5 as compared to green tea boy and counterpart was only 5.2.

So people chin up IPK is doing well.

I am sure if Aachar saga were pitted against BV the TRP would fall drastically
