Went missing as some deadlines were pending. Now back again. (whatt!!! No one even noticed that I was missing).
Sad about the CM downfall but ecstatic about rise in TRP. Thoda gham, zyaada khushi !!!
As I watch some our shows I am always amazed at the transforming power of a mangalsutra or a ghoonghat. my mother gets equally irritated and I tell her that ghoonghat is essential as it hides a woman's brain. Go figure.
Is the leap from being a footloose, fancy free girl to a yogya bahu that easy ?
That is one reason I am impressed by the characterisation of Tejal. Her awkwardness, her confusion and her rebelliousness, her habit of putting her foot in her mouth. She is still a wild child and yet trying to be a perfect bahu. In fact, there is a look of envy in her eyes as she sees MK going about her yogya bahu avataar. So human.
Most of the DILs in Hindi shows are so yogya that they end up as dumb mannequins. But is it possible to be so perfect DILs in today's world where most of us enjoy absolute freedom in our parent's house.
Ideally speaking, Tejal should not have confronted Sanky but aren't most girls these days blunt and unwilling to be submissive. Tejal is one of the few believable bahus of TV today. Insecure, confused and still trying to find her true identity.
Hats off to Cvs for making Anijal the best of friends. I was sick to the core with couples who choose to sleep in the couch or zameen par and make holding of hands seem like achievement. They are like a whiff of fresh air.
