| Actor Aanchal Dwivedi's popularity is getting even with that of Komalika's (Urvashi Dholakia) who made a star out of a vamp by playing the stylised character in 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay' (Star plus). As Kaveri bhabhi in 'Saat Phere', Aanchal too has become a character viewers cannot ignore. Aanchal says that she had to work upon her character, "I learnt to play with my eyes. My hair falls in natural curls which gave an interesting look. I also flaunt a tattoo (it's made of cloth)," she says. She highlights her USP saying, "My eyes are mysterious. That a woman can be so wicked fascinates men. They are so used to their mothers, sisters, wives and daughters being good to them." But in real life Aanchal is a softie. She says, "I don't want anybody to be unhappy. I cannot create problems for others." Few know that the Uttar Pradesh-based Aanchal is the niece of the well-known actor Pallavi Joshi. "I used to accompany her to shoots. That's how I got inspired to act. I thought why not try it out." Though she had 'no choice' about playing a negative character, Aanchal is happy with the recognition that it has brought her. "When I visit my hometown, people come up to me and say, 'Kyun kar rahi ho aisa?", reveals Aanchal. But Aanchal cannot forget the moment when she accompanied her father to a wedding and got mobbed. "My father held me like a bodyguard," she recalls with pride. Aanchal, who is also doing the comedy show 'Let's Party' (SAB), owes her success to "hard work and being at the right place at the right time." The woman who has men glued to her vile charms, describes her dream man by saying, "My man should be more intelligent than I am. He should have good communication skills." Coming back to playing Kaveri she sums, "If her wickedness ends that would be the end of the show. I thank viewers for accepting me despite being so vicious." |
