Asexuals- a growing community?

The trend seems to be of declaring one's sexual orientation instead of the earlier taboo attached to it. We have had debates on rights of homosexuals, transsexuals and also the whole LGBT community. One small community seems to have been left out and is now making efforts for asserting their rights against the heterosexual dominated society. Is it still hetero dominated ? Or does it constitute of undisclosed orientations? Against all these orientations there appears to be a group who call themselves Asexuals. If all these orientations wasnt already so confusing now we have another that says it is hetero- or homo or even bi-romantic but not interested in having any sexual relations and so they wish to be alloted a separate identity as Asexuals.

The question is is this also biologically determined or is it just a passing phase? Do we really need so many categories?😕

WOW 😲
"We want asexuality to be recognized as a valid sexual orientation"
They want 'asexuality' also to be RECOGNIZED? I never knew there are asexual human beings to begin with.
Anyways, because that community claims they are asexual... sure, go ahead. 👍🏼 .. it's their sexual orientation anyways.
Cant say on whether it's a passing phase or not. And cant say whether they're biologically like that, they themselves must be knowing 😆
I never understand why a man's sexual orientation needs to be a subject of discussion.. sexuality, sex, oreitntation come are very much private and he can do whatever the hell he wants in his sex life. Why should anyone's sex life be a subject of discussion or why should he be stigmatised for that?
And it's so strange how the community itself wants to be 'recognized' . Sure, go ahead! All the best with your life. And people should also start respecting another person's PRIVATE life... it's 21st century afterall . 😆

Why not? There is always an option "None of these". Why remove it in the case of sexuality? 😆

Research says repression of sex keeps you always sexual...in west ppl are sexually obsessed before their age...in india opposite happens... people remain sexually interested even whn they are seventy, eighty, ninety... I think If a person lives naturally... they can becom natural n spontaneous abt themself, authentic, true, at least they can enjoy n feel all attractions...!😊

So now we have hetero-, homo-, bi-, trans-, and asexuals. Does that complete the list or are there any more surprises on the way 🤓
