Scores were given to the contestant this week is kinda ok.

I loved both the performances of rashmi and ritwik...though i thought in silk malkham there was a bit of a coordination problem between sneha and ritvik..rashmi and deepak's lifts were spectacular to say the least..they are becoming my favourites on the show..isha's ballroom was a class apart but the prop in the butterfly act acted as a dampener ...and Avneet as Meera was marvellous...I just cudnt take my eyes off her...she was seamless!! .I thought this particular performance deserved atleast a 26 .darsheel was surprisingly underwhelming in his 'meri ma' act..Karan wahi was strictly average,second one being better than his first,thanks to the song.mohena needs to up her standard..Gurmeet's performances were disappointing..dunno what's wrong with them..his contemporary was abominable..bharti's dance and jokes were equally sickening and irksome..if she doesn't go out this week then it will be a blasphemy...judges were fair,stringent and non-indulgent ..karan johar is fantastic with his comments nowadays.

Pretty much a so so performance by most...looks as though some are getting a little fatigued.

I felt that instead of the level going up, it's taking a bit of a tumble and even the judges are missing out in pointing out some of the flaws, especially those related to co-ordination.

I like Bharathi generally..she never fails to put a smile on my face but in the last two days she's been getting on my nerves..and I think the judges are looking a little glazed as well at her jokes. If only she complemented her talk with serious performances...what was the pigeon 'dance' all about??
What was Savio thinking? Her second attempt was a little better but not much.

Isha and Salman were the only two that made things look exciting on both days.
Reshmi and Ritwick come a close second.

Karan started with a bang but is slowly being reduced to a whimper...I didn't watch his first dance but the second one...though the concept was good...why do children's expressions translate to retarded ones when adults interpret them via dance? Both Karan and Reshmi's expressions and voices as kids would have riled any self-respecting kid of today!

Talking about kids darsheel and Avneet's krisna-meera dance was lovely...hats off to Darsheel for continuing with his performance even after both his props failed him...the flute fell first, followed by his crown...but he didn't let either deter him.👏 In my opinion he should have been given an extra point for his presence of mind.
The second one was okay...it should have been great considering he was dancing to his own song...but the concept confused me a little..I understood that he was missing his mom..but was it a case of homesickness or was the mother dead and he was remembering her in sorrow.?Not clear.

GC and shampa's first dance was okay though the concept was a little vague. I liked the bit behind the bars but their co-ordination was all over the place outside it...I liked how GC ended it but couldn't figure out why it had to end like that..was he depicting a freedom fighter or a jawan in the army? Not clear.

His second dance was old fashioned and a little repetitive but cute nevertheless. I liked the bit where he danced with the cycle..wonder why the judges didn't mention that.
Also, why did they look and sound bored while making their comments about his dance..or am I imagining things?

As far as the scoring is concerned, I think it was pretty much fair.

Again, it must be my imagination, but I felt Shibani and Punit's ouster cast a pall of gloom on the show...it was unexpected and an unwarranted one...the ouster, not the gloom.😆

The judges looked a little out of it and I felt that they forced themselves to laugh at Bharathi and manish's jokes. And what was up with Karan...that almost jumping off the hava mahal was so unnecessary...may be I'm losing my sense of humour along with my patience!

From what I remember of Saturday - I found the episode extremely boring, except the 5 mins that Bharti did her kabootar jaa - I don't know why people complain she takes up too much screen space - it was literally 5mins, stop exaggerating. Anyway.

Shibani - red - passion - she was SO good and this would've definitely got her the perfect score and it was such a beautiful dance to end her journey on. Puneet is a great choreographer.

Rithvik - yellow - friendship - I was amazed by the amazing lifts. None of the performers have done these wowific lifts and he deserved every bit of his perfect score! I wouldve been disappointed if he got anything less than his 30. Their dancing chemistry is awesome and it's really helping them.

Darsheel - orange - Meera/krishna love - sorry but I didn't quite get it. I know orange is Krishna's colour but I don't see why Avneet needed to be Meera when they've could've done a better and more interesting performance with a Radha/Krishna theme. However Avneet was very good as always, her knee spins were breathtaking! Avneet probably deserved more but they judge Darsheel I thought the marks were apt.

Rashmi - brown - statues - loved their concept! It wasn't new as Puneet and Shibani had done something similar, however they chose the more Indian version and it was a really nice performance! I didn't see any of the technical mistakes Remo saw so I thought her 30 was very well deserved! I've never liked that song but now I think it was so beautifully apt to the performance.

Isha - rainbow - all emotions - I don't get the whole butterfly thing. Sorry but their costumes didn't exactly say 'we're all colours'? Ishas was more orange and black and Salman was blue. Rainbow doesn't have black? Anyway, the dance was ok, Isha looked like she wanted to scare rather then make happy. Correct me if I'm wrong but when you're depicting 7 colors of the rainbow and in essence depicting the whole happiness, wouldn't a more lively, peppy and generally happy song be used? Satrangi is a great song but it didnt suit their so called 'happy' performance. And Isha's expression at the last lift, were we meant to giggle? I didn't get a memo.

Karan - grey - corporate - Boring. His marks were apt, I would've scored less actually. But anyway. Karan has grown on me, especially after his stint with Rithvik and Isha :) but dance wise he needs to pull his socks up really fast.

Bharti - white - peace - lol. Like Madhuri said they took it a bit too literally. I ffwded most of it but I guess her marks spoke for themselves. She didn't suit these slow songs/dances. I absolutely loved her kabootar ja stint, it was hilarious!

Gurmeet - khakee - police - ummm. Maybe he shouldve done Singham. I ffwded this too. I was bored when I saw him hanging from that jail thing.


Sunday - this Sunday wasn't like the past Sunday's, it was more like a Saturday, boring :)

I'm not going to go into details cos none of the Performances stood out to me except -

Isha - beauty and beast - I know a lot of people didn't get it but it was probably one of the more apt themes. Back to Bachpan - yes this took me back to my childhood. This is how childhood was, full of fairy tales with pretty princesses and bad guys who're actually good guys. There wasn't one part where I thought it was bad, it was so beautiful and it was a great concept! Different and so apt! They both did a very good job and for the first time I was watching only Salman.

All in all, a very average weekend.

25th august

Rithvik/Sneha - I loved it..one of the best ariel acts on jhalak...the lifts and poses were so good and i couldn't take me eyes of them totally deserved 30 any lower would have been injustice.

Darsheel/Avneet - the theme was nice of Lord Krishna,and Darsheel looked really nice as Krishna, Avneet was fab and Darsheel did well considering both his props failed him. scores given were fine.

Rashmi/Deepak -I love Deepak as a choreographer, he is so creative and thinks outside the box.Choreography was awesome and it was performed flawless...I loved the back lift they did were rashmi dropped down and came back up. Totaly deserved 30.

Isha/Salman- they were decipiting happiness-all colours...the butterfly wings/props they had was a fail it disrupted thier performance and made it look scruffy. wished they picked a better song...scores I agreed with.

Karan/Mohena - it was so boring to be really honest, I mean parts were good but nothing was wow or new in it...Mohena needs to be more creative choreography wise.

Bharti/Savio-what was that..all they did was run around the stage waving the massive wings about...worst performance of jhalak at this stage...seriously what did they think they would get for that? imo 6 was generous..can't believe madhuri gave 7!

Gurmeet /Shampa - the beginning part was good on the dialouge but after that it didn't keep me hooked as a viewer...but he was better than Bharti..correct me if i'm wrong but madhuri scored Gurmeet the same as Bharti...how? like seroiusly compared to bharti gurmeet was better...

I can't be asked to go throught each performance so will comment on the ones I liked.

Ritwik/Sneha-I loved the concept and song choice.. choreography was really good but there was one bit where co-ordination went...so 9 was apt.
Ishaa/Salman...Loved the concept..in all honesty I was watching Salman..couldn't take me eyes of him...he was too good for him I would give a 10!

next week looks good as all contestants are doing performances on the same theme so will be good to see who stands out...dhud ka dhud or pani ka pani ho jayega.

again so annoyed that during Ritwick and Karan's maa da ladla dance they cut to Bharti in the hawa mahal...why did they need to do that? everyweek I notice that in-between other's segment they cut to Bharti in hawa mahal...
