OTT Drama?

I've kinda appreciated TBP for its realistic touches to the characters and situations but the fight today made no sense. 6 on 1? I know what my Papa would've said if he had seen the fight. He would've said that such people do exist who can take on a huge fight. But this was dealt with so badly. The students in the background just stood there ahhhing. Koi gadha aage barh kar authorities ko notify hi nahin kar raha tha! Forget that, no student went and called his friends or whatever as usually in case of fights that's what happens - a crowd gathers.

IMO, the fight seemed fillerish and OTT. It could've happened in a much nicer and better way but it seemed like a muft ki glory parade for a single character. Meh, CVs! Don't do this! Don't make a different show all the same so soon!

Liked the rest of the episode though. Banga was the usual URGH today! Princi was so sweet, making Naina Maa stay in the office. Total awww...! moment for me 😳😆. Also, he was concerned for his student more. I like this guy. Mr. Desai, woah! The kind of a father who always looks at negatives rather than positive. The guy has no trust or pinch of pride in his topper-in-a-prestigious-school-with-a-scholarship at ALL! Interesting touch. Proved, Piddi is the only friend KD has. Only true friend! 😃 Ranveer not trusting KD, again a fantastic touch to the character. And rest of the students actually kinda taking Ranveer's side. It's a selfish selfish world out there. Liked this detail. The best part was undoubtedly JJ's last scene.

"I don't need the ticket".

Cue signature electric guitar music and off the man walks with his swag! Kudos to Manav Gohli for making JJ's character stand out like a diamond in the stones! This man just oozes awesomeness! 👏

btw coming to ur topic. no re i didn't find OTT i mean...there are many 6 on 1 fights cases...lol its normal...n in reality no one support anyone...they just love to watch the show... really no kidding. Yup they missed that crowd thing...where everyone calls their friends n they gather a crowd.

I loved how...KD also beat those goons n they also beat him..

Abt RV yup true to his character...but then too samar toh atleast...chod re...felt bad 😭 but theek hain...Jab mera gussa thanda hua...i agreed...Creatives did right...Character were true to their nature 😉

DAMN I LOVE JJ now...hahahah not becoz he is supporting KD but when i got to knw...he had the same past i melted i mean...if KD is suffering so much ...JJ ne bhi same kiya hoga...isliye JJ got mad when KD started acting lyk him. now i understand ...hmm idiot me 😆

i really find fight interesting as you are saying 1 to 6 ya its right but in the most of scenes it was shown KD getting beated by the group and at some scenes KD has punched back...which allas was need of the scene...so it was not OTT drama for me ...actually i really loved the scene

Lolz, I actually like the way this avi turned out. Took me so much time to make it. Jab scene dekha tha na, tabhi I knew that I am so going to make an avi in this style. So yeah, despite not being an ardent KiSha fan, this avi is like my baby which no one was using. My baby felt bad. Tou maine use kiya 😳 the PanSh one is another one of my babies. I freakin' LOVE the way the coloring turned out! *stares at the avi again* and the RaHi scene was SOOO EFFIN' ADORABLE!!!!

I have nothing against the whole KD being stronger than the lot part of the scene, I was merely pointing towards the lame execution of it all. It seemed rehearsed to me, that's all. The spontaneity of an actual fight was missing. But oh well, filming an aesthetically shot fighting scene is a real challenge so yeah, ignoring it. It just wasn't up to the standard that TBP has established over the past month with its realistic approach and touches.

Honestly except for the last part .. where JJ took off to save KD in dashin isshtyle , I found episode bit average .
From past 2-3 epis only KD is shown, no complaints but it is kinda overshadowing rest of the TBP cast.
Samar , RV and panchi are totally missing from the scene. Rahi story is not at all movin ahead , its still stuck on panchi's preference status and no other shade of RV is shown ... I want to see this character RV ! I dont know why, but its one "boy" show to me ryt now and this is pissin me off badly .

@Ranveer not trusting KD and siding with Piddi to help him was right in his character and in sync with KD-Ranveer relationship. It would have been totally off if the opposite had been shown. Ranveer was right to stay out of this. I am so happy they showed this side of Ranveer! <3

@KD's dad-- He and Kiya's mum are similar. Both of them are always disappointed with their children and tend to find faults in everything they say or do rather than encouraging them to do better. They are inherent pessimists and will always be unsatisfied in their respective kids. No wonder KD and Kiya tend to have certain similarities between them. Hmmm...Kiya's mother always discourages Kiya whereas KD's father doesn't even appreciate his son's good traits. I mean, the guy is a topper and a scholarship student! Any parent would be proud of this! But this man is a pure wacko Still, both of them are neglected by their parents in a dissimilar way but ending up with similar hurt feelings.
