Part 14Riddhima felt her heart beating in her throat furiously like it will explode if he just don't stop playing with her lips, so passionately, but then, she can't push him away too. Armaan felt her breath getting heavier so he slow down first and then, moved an inch away, just to let her breath. His head was leaning against hers as she was now once again standing between the cage of his arms. Her arms lazily were resting on his shoulders, clutching the vest tightly. The stay silent for a minute when Armaan again move forward and pecked her lips softly. He just can't seem to get enough of her, her sweet lips. Riddhima sigh leaning her head back on the wall with closed eyes, just living this moment. Moment which have no one other than they both. And he was with her, kissing her, what else she needed. Armaan closed his eyes, feeling her ragged breath on his cheek. His hand came up to cup her face while other remove those little strands of hairs from her face, which were blocking his view to see her blushed rose cheeks. "Riddhima" He took her name so softly that her eyes flutter open to see his down long eyelashes. His ragged breath proving that he is as much affected by her as she is. His thumb traced her cheek as he said "I don't know" *BREATH* "I just don't know what this feeling is...that haunt me deep in my roots...this feeling that is just as pure as the sound of running water, washing all the sadness, blackness, darkness of my cursed life...this feeling that give me a hope of a good future" He sigh and look up to see her looking at him intently, waiting for him to complete. He rubbed her cheek as a smile formed on her lips with the tingling and he couldn't hold but to kiss the corner of her lips as if tasting her, drinking her smile. Her smile turn to a shock but now, her smile was placed on his lips as he gave his dimpled smile that just seem to took her breath away. Looking at the dreamy look of her face, he whispered softly "This feeling is something i never felt before in my life...i thought what i felt once before was what is called as love, but after experiencing this overwhelming sensation...i don't know what to call it" He opened his heart infront of her. Riddhima keep looking at him but soon felt her vision got blurred with tears that took place in her eyes with this simple yet heart touching confession of his. How can someone be so heart-broken with such a pure heart. His words completely show his sincerity, his love, his truthfulness. How can someone doubt him. How can anyone blame him for hurting them? This man can only love. Nothing else. Riddhima moved her hand up, tracing his neck with her palm and cupped his face making him look at her. "I know what i feel for you" she said in a soft rasped whisper that could only be heard by him. He looked in her shiny eyes. Its look like she was lost before and now got her destination. And she did. "I love you Armaan" she said the next second. As her words touch his eardrums, he felt his world rocked. It was something so overwhelming, so deep, so pure that his heart was fluttering inside and his body was in peace. Riddhima keep looking at him for an expecting answer and he noticed her gaze and sigh, touching his forehead against her. "I can't it now" He said defeatingly. "I mean it whatever i said before...but saying these words to anyone never turned out good for me" He was torn inside and moved back two steps from her and turn around. "There was a time, I was never so conscious saying them to anyone rather i would freely use them...telling everyone how much they really mean to me...to express my feelings in the exact best words possible...but nothing stayed that way Riddhima" He covered his face with his hands and took a deep breath. "I said my parents I loved them, I use to tell Riya daily before her bedtime, that i love her...I was about to say it to Sneha that horrible day...and see, everyone to whom i said these powerful words, left me alone, to stay on my ownself" He looked back at her who was listening to him carefully. Tears had took there place in her eyes feeling the pain in his words. "That's why I avoid saying them to Ananya frequently...She is all I had and I never wanna loose her" He continued in a father's fearing tone. Tears traced his cheeks as Riddhima took a step and put forward her hand. Armaan look at her questioningly. "Hold my hand...And I promise you will never loose her or...Me" she started with a strong voice and ended with a true promise. Armaan look from her face to her hand and without wasting a moment, he gave her his hand and pulled her closer in a hug. His hands rest on her tiny waist and her head rest on his chest. They fit perfectly in eachother arms just like a puzzle is being completed and truly, they were the two parts of a same picture and only they could complete it. They have been mis-matched before but right this moment, it was just what they say as, PICTURE PERFECT.
They keep standing like that for sometime, silently promising eachother there support, love, comfort, courage, strength, affection and warmth. Armaan smiled as he kissed her in the hairs. "I think, its better you leave now... " Reluctantly, Riddhima withdraw herself with blushed cheeks. Armaan smiled and not being able to look up at him, she averted her gaze and left the room, almost running out. Armaan silently watched her leaving the room and took a few steps back and fall on the bed with the brightest smile ever. His eyes closed, his arms open as if welcoming the happiness in his life. He had never been this happy from the last 2 and a half years and had almost lost hope to be happy ever. But she, this amazing amazing girl has made this possible. She showed her what life means, how the happiness stays in small things rather than wasting time to get the big one, how time could be treasured, how living in present is more beautiful rather than crying on past, how the dreams of future could really inspire you rather than the nightmares of past which discourages you. "Riddhima" Sighing, he took her name softly. She changed his life for betterment and he is really looking forward to it now. The series of there memories run in his mind. Her first introduction and him, finding her perfect as a candidate of being her secretary, her nervousness but confidence attracted him the first day of her job, and its still the same. Her friendly behavior and there LONDON trip, that first time make him get close to her. Her interaction with Ananya. She herself looked like a kid while playing with her and then, there park scene and the first touch. He can still imagine her in that netted black dress she wore that night, when he kissed her for the first time and what a kiss that was...He never felt like getting close to any girl after Sneha but that night was special, she was special and he realized now, it was the first time he actually agreed to himself that he is attracted to her and the kiss came just as a response to that. But the way she denied that moment next day, his heart felt crying but now he know, she was just trying to judge his action as he was trying to judge her's. He was angry with her marrying to that jerk Samar but was happy later, when her engagement got broke, unfortunately, her mother had to suffer but he was right there to support her and GOD blessed him and his stars then that she landed up in his home. He could never say enough thanks to GOD for doing that or otherwise he would never have been able to take this step and got this feeling of pure bliss. The picnic had surly been a turn over in there relationship after being getting constant nagged by Bi and Smriti but that was worth. He was overwhelmed seeing his effect on her and it was totally impossible for him to stay away from him and after two days of picnic, on such a restlessness night, he found peace while he was tossing and turning in his bed and felt the door open slightly. Thankfully, his face was towards the door then so he opened his eyes slightly and saw her closing his room door, trying not to make a noise. He was worried and excited at the same time. Worried as if she need anything and excited to know why is she here in his room. Just as she was about to turn back at him, he closed his eyes and feel her coming closer to his bed. Her bare feet couldn't cover the sound of walking and just a few seconds later, he could feel her standing beside his bed. Her intense gaze were hard not to feel but he didn't dare open his eyes and caught her red-handed. He wanted to see further. He faked being sleepy, taking calm breaths and not moving his hands to startle her even when his nose start to itch. He controlled his hands and waited for her to move when after a few minutes, he heard a soft tuck of the door. She left and he concluded that she just wanted to see him sleeping. The next day he waited for her, unconfirmed whether she would turn up that night or not and gladly she did, and from that day, he would wait for her. And tonight, Ananya was adamant to hear a bed-time story from him rather than Bi as per usual and no matter how fast he wanna get back into his room, he didn't want to break her(Ananya's) heart so he sit down and started reading a story from her story book till the tinme she was off to sleep. Kissing her forehead after removing the curls from it, he gave her a last look and left the room, closing the room door as quietly as possible. He was late and probably she wouldn't appear tonight made him restless as he get back to his room and lay down on the bed with closed eyes, crossing fingers under the covers, just hoping that she would come but when she didn't after 20 minutes, he get up to go to her room to check on her. May be, tonight, he can do her ritual. He smiled and reached the door when he heard foot steps and the next second, the knob of the door turning. It was too late to go back to bed and act to be sleeping, he thought, it was time for confrontation and thats why as she took first step in the room, he pulled her in and pinned her to the wall. And he was glad he did that. He was satisfied and at peace to hear that she loves him and he know, that he too. But he couldn't say that. But he wasn't going to risk loosing her for anything. The kisses they share did make up for the week, he would lay there while his heart and mind will ask to get up and took hold of her lips in his. His mind would replay the image of there first kiss in his mind again and again while his heart would feel to excited and erotic with her act of looking at him in the night that would fill it with immense love for her. He closed his eyes with a sweet smile on his lips and drift to a beautiful sleep that he took after years.
Next day, at the breakfast table, Armaan would sneak glances at her while she was just looking away with a shy smile on her face. They try to not show up the change of there relation to the elders but smriti and Bi had the eyes of Hawk as the both women look at there kids and grinned at eachother. "Mama, I am leaving" Riddhima said after making Ananya finished her food as well as hers, tugging her bag at her shoulder. "Ok beta, Be back on time ok" Smriti said with motherly affection. Riddhima smiled and kissed her cheek and saying bye to Bi and Ananya she got out. "UFFF" she sigh. "The breakfast went too awkward...I don't know how this whole day gonna be" She mumbled to herself as she walk towards the main gate. Hearing the running footsteps at the back, she turned to found a breathless Armaan. Riddhima turned back with a jerk and start taking fast steps to the door "Riddhima" He called her as she stopped, biting her tongue. "yeah" she replied without turning. "Ummm...I was thinking..." He ruffled his hairs. God this is so strange. But he wanted to do that. "You can go with me...in my car...to office" It was a request rather than a question. The last thing she wanted now was him coming to her. She wanted to have the time to the office just with herself, to think about how this newly made relationship gonna work. To an extent, she was afraid too that may be, once again he will start ignoring her just like before. She wanted to think quietly on all the aspects possible that gonna come in her life, and with him being in the same car, its hard to concentrate. She thought to excuse to him and go alone but turning back, looking at him cute smiley face, her all thoughts went to trash. "OK" she said that brought a heart-warming smile on his face and he escort her to his car. And definitely, she couldn't thought about anything else other than feeling his presence.
Office timing went great. All were professional like they usually are. Shaina and Aryan disclosed there family agreement to there wedding and the families were in discussion to set a date. All were happy hearing that and congratulate the couple. Finally everything bad seems like leaving the house and happiness was welcomed with open arms. Shaina and Aryan were giving treat in the canteen that day to all there fellows. "Armaan, You have to join us there in an hour...OK" Shaina almost ordered her friend rather than a boss after finishing with there usual meeting. Riddhima was in the room writing down notes for the meeting. Armaan eyes went to her. He had planned to arrange a small lunch for himself and Riddhima in his cabin. He wanted to discuss with her, the level of there relationship. He didn't want an awful moment of awkwardness laying between them after last night. Last night, they go with the flow but since morning, she rarely looked at him and no matter how much he tried to ignore that, he felt a twitch in his heart. He again wanted to look deep into her eyes, those angelic eyes and see the love shinning through them. "Shy...I would have loved to but I have to send a report before 2pm to one of my client and I am not even half done with it yet" He excused. "Armaan..." Shaina whinned. "Aren't you gonna be a part of your friend's happiness?" Shaina blackmailed him. "I want to...But I can't yaar..." He said with a helpless face. "may be you need to give me a special dinner tonight" Armaan smirk with a smile and Shaina laughed at that. "that we can surly give you...but i would have loved it if you can join" Shaina said with a last attempt. She don't wanna force anything of Armaan. It was just best that he was getting back to normal. "OK..We will try if we are finished before that" "We???" Shaina asked with a confused look. "Yeah We...Me and Riddhima" He said looking at the shocked jerked up face of Riddhima who was looking at him with wide eyes. "I need her assistance..." Armaan said. His gaze still fixed on Riddhima's face as she looked back at him with wide eyes. God!!! He love this GIRL so much. Shaina pout look at Armaan and than at Riddhima. "I think we need to give a double treat" She said getting up, taking hold of her coat in her hands as Armaan looked back at her. "That you have too..." He said excitedly. "Ok then, I am leaving...But do try to come if even for few moments" She said with a last request and Armaan nodded. "Riddhima?" Shaina called her who was playing with her fingers, totally anxious with the time coming her way. She, alone with him, in a room. And she remember last time she was alone with him in a room. But hearing Shaina's voice she looked up with a weak smile. "Yeah?" Shaina noticed her behavior and get worried. "Are you fine?" "yeah yeah...I am ...Completely...am totally fine" She replied quickly with a small smile. "Ok...do try to come" "Will try my best" She said in a slow voice almost mumbling to herself. Armaan inwardly smiled seeing the exasperated look on her face. Shaina left the room saying bye to them. Riddhima's eyes were wandering around the room, not able to look at him at this moment. Armaan smiled with his dimples showing there full deepness and grinning, he get up from his chair and round the table to get on her side and sit on the table with one leg support. Riddhima's eyes were now fixed on her floor, still playing with her fingers when Armaan bend down and took hold of her hand. "Are you really ok Riddhima?" He asked rubbing his thumb on her soft hand. Riddhima eyes shoot up to see his happy face and blushed.
