Hey guy,

Gandhi-Nehru have a very deep hidden secrets unknown to the world and Indians, they are the cery dark side of the Indian politics. Anyways besides the point, many of us don't know that the real name of Sonia Gandhi is Antonia Maino with an Italian Citizenship.

My question is should a non-state person be able to rule a state?

Even the most famous of persons would have something or the other that some one or the other does not know about him. 😳

Sonia Gandhi's Italian origin and maiden name is known to most of the educated, well informed and also those who are interested in some sort of general awareness about their country affairs Indians. Cant say much for those whose interest is limited to movies and TV serials

Didnt we have a similar topic a mere 2-3 weeks back?🤔

Most of our politicians are corrupt, money minded and selfish beings who would steal food from the plate of the poor to fill up their own bellies.

These politicians are very much Indian by birth and they are ruling our state.

So dividing people based on nationality doesn't really make sense.If the constitution of India allows them to rule the state then who are we to even debate on this?

I agree with your opinions completely but not on this part in bold. I mean the constitution is not any divine mandate that cannot be debated or questioned (for the record, I think even the "divine mandates" must be questioned and debated whenever necessary). Its after all a man-made article and as much fallible as its makers. Dr. Ambedkar himself believed that Right to Constitutional Remedies is the heart and soul of the Indian Constitution.

@TM: Sonia Gandhi nee Maino is definitely not a non-state person. She's a non-ethnic Citizen of India.

A slight amendment in my comment-If the constitution of India allows them to rule the state then who are we to even debate on this unless we are on a position of power to change it? I agree that the constitution of India has to be amended from time to time. However it does not sit well with me that the leaders of our country are questioned just on the basis of nationality. To that end I think that our constitutional law is quite satisfactory.

Sonia Gandhi is one of the major reasons the country is running today... how ungrateful can you get 😕

And, besides, it is a known fact that underworld, politicians .. work hand in hand, why hold Sonia alone responsible.

She is not 6th most powerful woman in the world for nothing. Learn to respect people of higher authority than yourself, they are there for a reason...

I have nothing against Sonia being Italian except that She is not a citizen by birth and hence in my opinion should not be the first leading authority. If she was born in India to Italian parents then I would not mind. India would then be her motherland. So she has the right (according to me not the contitution)

I dont have to agree with the Constitution because it is there and because I cannot change it. I can say I dont agree, it doesnot mean it will stop them but I will know I did. Well simple thing is those who dont want her dont vote for her thats all.

Antonio Manio ho ya Sonia Gandhi ho, ky fark padta hai naam se? it is not going to change who she is as an individual.
