I am going to play devils advocate here, and try to look at this story from an objective point of view. I know some of us say that Vickram will eventually turn Negative, and some say that Adi might. MY question is why dose either of them have to ???
So far this story dose not have a "Villian" per say just a bunch of people who are in the middle of a very complex and complicated situation...( hold on don't bite my head off as yet.) NO one in this story is completely wrong in his/her stance, and no one is completely right either :
Gulabiya - she was 100% right in wanting to save her daughter from marrying a married man, and she did all she knew to do, her methods we might not agree with, but ANY mother who knew for a fact that the man who promised to Marry my daughter, has a wife, is justified in stopping it. Which she did!!!
These days she is 100% wrong in her treatment of Vickram, as she has shown she would rather her Child be sold off to the highest bidder, for a few nights of pleasure, than go with the one person she has SEEN would at least treat her daughter with respect and dignity! She even made the point today when she told Adi she won't forgive him if she know Vickram had anything to do with the Sardakahi...😡
Sugni _ is 100% right from walking away from the wedding, and wanting to hurt Vickram, her self distructive behaviour I do not agree with...but she showed some self respect by walking away from a "bad situation." Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned they say, and in her Fury Sugni is willing to burn herself 100% WRONG move on her part.
Vickram- he was 100% right in falling in love with Sugni, however he was totally wrong by hiding the truth from her when he found out Reva was alive...his manipulative ways in trying to get her to marry him while he was married is also wrong, as they say love don't live on lies...although no fault of his own that Reva did come back, he should have been man enough to put off the wedding and seek a devorce, and tell Sugni the truth. (Sorry but this whole mess started with his one act of cowardliness 😭)
Aditya_ He was 100% right in aiding Gulabiya in stopping the wedding, ( Please don't kill me!!!😉)...but it would have been wrong to stand by and watch your father like Uncle commit an illegal act without trying to Save him from becomming a Bigamist., it would have been better if all of them had sat down like mature people and have a conversation on how to handle the situation, but unfortunately the CV don't see the sense in that.! NOw if it turns out that he is willing to do anything to Stop his MAMA from divorcing his Mami after seeing her violent ways and Vickrams unhappiness he will be 100% wrong.
Now each of them is in a soup as to how to fix this messy situation they got themselves in. As per what I read, it was Vickram and Adi's plan for Adi to do the Sardhkai, while Vickram gets a divorce, and fix Reva...( I have a feeling she won't let her Sahib go with out a fight if she dose get SANE)
We also have to add Amrita to the mix, who will either come back and understand what has happened and "Support" it, or be hurt and angry and turn out hating Adi and Sugni for it all , either way she too will be 100% right in her stance.
Jiji now has to deal with the fact that ALL the men in her life is some how ensnared by a bedini in some form or another! 😭 Poor lady she can't get away from these people! But as long as Reva stays married to Vickram she should be happy right???
So Although we don't have a totla Villian in the show, except for Fate, kismat, and the writers, who really can we hate???None of them are "BAD, WICKED people" are they???
the real "VIllians in the show were killed off by the writers themselves, but how we will never know, TJS, probably is out enjoying some Pilgramige, along with Soroj thakuriyn, and thier evil Son is probably off ot collage making some girls life hell...Haldi Singh probably found himself a bedini, and all are content where ever they are... All we are left with is a bunch of good hearted people , dealing with a crappy situation and we must say a BIG BIG BIG thank you for the writers of this show for making it all happen...👏👏👏

Great post! 👏
The real villain is the horrible custom of sardhakai and so called bedni traditions! That is what has put all of them in trouble from the beginning!
That is the whole theme of this show ...to present the social evil of sardhakai and bednis dishonorable life.

I dont blame Adi for doing Sugni's sardhakai!
Its all a plan by Vikram and Adi to save Sugni's honor.
Im sure Vikram wont "touch" Sugni till hes divorced Reva and of course Adi wont...hes doing all this to save Sugni and help his Mama.
If TVS had continued with the auction, Sugni wouldnt have agreed to his sardhakai and just have sold herself to a lecherous Thakur.
But when Adi "bought" her she didnt refuse...how come? Doesnt she know how hurt Amrita will be when she finds out abt this?
Perhaps Amu will come to know the truth behind Adi's actions but does Sugni know that?

I agree with this post.

I have nothing more to add, but I totally agree. To me, it's not so much that this is happening, it's more so the inconsistent characterizations, the disappearance of the other characters, as well as the fact that the show has changed dramatically from the flavour it used to have.

I don't actually mind this story as long as some things aren't forced down my throat, and some self-righteous people aren't constantly portrayed as completely right while others are portrayed as completely wrong. And of course--as long as Amrita gets to say her piece to all of them and also she's not screwed over or de-legimitized.

I totally agree with your post...

Circumstances make people do things and act the way they do.
