So how could've Sugni's Sardhakai happened?

I'm curious. It was always meant to happen. (Though not to Adi.) But it was always meant to happen.

Everyone's talking about how Sugni's character has been butchered. It's not that I disagree, but how could they have shown her going through the Sardhakai without the same complaints?

She could've have gone straight ahead with her "marriage" to Vikram which would essentially be a Sardhakai. But would that really be much different than what she's doing now? The only difference is she's being auctioned and there's a chance others could buy her--which one could say is her way of getting back at Vikram.

So how else could Sugni's Sardhakai have happened where we wouldn't be crying that the character has been ruined.

U'r right!!! The prob is not shez doing sar dhakai, the prob is shez giving lame excuses.In the past episodes she did rai out of her majburi so every body sympathized her. Then again she did rai at vikram's mansion there again she gave lame excuse like she wants to thank vikram through her dance, U' want to dance for the person whoz not interested in that? But still it was jiji who created situation for her rai so we didn't blame her much nd tried to digest it. Right Now there was no majburi,She was not force to do rai or sar dhakai. It was purely her decision and the reason is she wants to save reva's marriage with vikram,Can't she find a better reason for that? If u feel betrayed in luv u can do sum silly mistakes but not step into a sinful life. She might be saving reva's marriage but not thinking abt other thakurains. All thakurs 're married there and for saving ones marriage u'r becuming tension for other thakurains. As we all thakur can leave his bedni any time then she will again go for sar dhakai? anyway it's not gonna be an issue here cuz we knw only adi will do her sar dhakai in that case she will ruin amrita's life and her dreams who is a gud frnd of her nd supported her on each nd every step. I know marriage is the last option in this show they want to stick with their main concepts which 're rai nd sar dhakai but atleast they can create sum bad situations for her which leads her to sar dhakai. cvz 're doing nothing but giving all lame excuses for each and everything.

Bang on Likarsh and Komal👍🏼..But another question which I wanted to raise is that ...What was that Symbolic sar dhakayi scene between Vikram and Sugni...Remember where he unknowingly puts his scarf on her and her frnd says Sugni tumhari to sar dhakayi ho gayai😕The whole set up and build up for this present Sar dhakayi looks absolutely incoherent which is against the character of Sugni who actually CHOOSES the path of self -Destruction rather than RAISING her voice against the INJUSTICE done to her..The whole scenario Looks PATHETIC to me😡

Komal, absolutely this is no different. If she's not doing it to Reva she's doing it to some other wife. And unlike what they want to portray, doing it to Amrita is worse. The girl who's always stuck up for her and supported her.

manzilmukul, great point about that symbolic Sardhakai scene.

I totally agree with everyone here.

First of all, I am surprised that sugni character is shown suddenly so weak...the girl who faught traditions always, suddenly gave in.

worst of all, she didn't hear her mom's words before and she is doing same now.

Atleast Sugni should have some respect for her mother's hard work. Gulabiya tried to save her all these days to see this day? As a mother, Gulabiya should slap her and say, "I'm your mother- do what I say"/

but alas--- the story has to keep moving...

Well she choose the path of sar dhakhai for reason i dont understand .. Is reva that imp in her life or this is way she can make vikram out of her heart ... In today episode i am shocked to see that she didnt said no to adi ..amrita being her fr & supportive . Ever she though that in process of all this how much she is going to hurt amrita & spoil her life for ever. Sugini was one to give love around , fight agianst the system & had courage to say what she want ...

Yes she cant be same but atleast dont do anything that can hurt other people .

As said earlier here ..there has to do be some connection between unknowingly sar dhakhi done by vikram ..
