Is it based on Shiva purana? Does anyone know who is a shiva bhakt?

really love this show just want to seperate fact from fiction

this show is based on what is written in the puranas however they have twisted and turned parts of the story to put it forward as a entertainment based daily saop

which some things are from the Puranas many things are fictitious as well!

Well...This show is not really accurate..if you have read the puranas or have watched previous mythological series such as om namah shivaya or shiv mahapuran you could find the differences...This show is trying to tell the story of shiva in a indian type serials with elongation of every aspect of shiva's life...for e.g where sati test Ram...actually it should have been parvati...Daskh did not have a daughter(forgot the name) who was trying sour up the life of shiva and sati...anyway...the show is enjoyable and great to watch even though some of things are not correct or accurate...

The show has references to the 7 secrets of shiva by devdutt patnaik... its an awesome read..

you can say its almost accurate. Its based on the Purana and the principal stories shon are true

of course there are always some element of fiction and drama in all shows. Like Vijaya, overlapping of Tarkasur and Shumba story, war between Dhadhichi and Raktabeej and various others

And ofcourse the time lines

Apart from that the basic tracks are accurate
