Ghosh, who played emcee at Reshamiyya's concert, got jiggy backstage to his numbers

Sangeeta Ghosh loves to dance and listen to Bollywood numbers. So when the svelte actress got a chance to play emcee at Himesh Reshamiyya's Aap Ka Suroor concert, she grabbed the opportunity. Ghosh hosted eight shows for the singer during the US leg of his tour.

"I had a blast touring with the show. I have done events before but I've not seen anything of this proportion. Not only was every concert a sell out, but the reaction from the crowd was mind blowing."
Sangeeta recalls going backstage and dancing to some of Reshammiya's tunes. "I would be dancing away backstage to his songs. I was completely in awe of him when he would take to the stage. Not only would he sing brilliantly, but you also had to watch him interact with the crowd. He knew how to get them off their seats and dance to his numbers."

Did she get a chance to meet her fans in the States? "Since the crowd usually comprised of Indians, there were lots of people there who follow my shows. Actually, most of them still remember me from my Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand and Rabba Ishq Na Hove days. It was nice to hear what they had to say, and I even took pictures with some of them."
On the work front, Sangeeta is not ready to reveal if she will be hosting Nach Baliye 2 this year. "They have asked me, but I haven't gotten back to them yet. I don't want to speculate on anything just now."
