PART - 5

After a few minutes Maan felt a slight weight on his shoulder and he noticed that his angel had already fallen into deep slumber. He knew she had not slept peacefully since the last few days and all the weariness and tiredness was taking a toll on her. He carefully removed her hand that was clutching his collar in her fist and tucked her in the warm blanket. He kept looking at the innocent angel in front of her and sighed before making his way towards the door, to finish some due tasks….

LIVING ROOM

Maan made his way towards the living room and took out his phone to make a call….

"Hello…"

"Hmmm Main Maan bol raha hoon…"

"I need to talk to you urgently… Can we meet today???"

"Ohh!! So where should we meet??"

"Okay!! So can you come to the Khurana Mansion???"

"Right!! I will wait for you!!! Bye…"

Maan kept the phone down and smirked…

"Yes dear I am waiting for you… To give you your life's biggest surprise and of course making your left over life a living hell!!!!!"

Maan's eyes had turned red with rage, but he then checked the time and decided that first he will check when is he supposed to give Geet her next set of medicines as he knew once he sets on accomplishing the mission, it will take at least 2-3 hours!!!

"Nakul kaka…"

"Jee beta…"

"Wo Medicines jo main laaya tha wo aapne kahan rakhi hain???"

"Beta wo toh humne yahi table par rakhi thi, yeh lijiye…"

"Theek hai kaka…"

"Beta… Geet beti ke liye khaane mein kya kya banana hai zaraa bata dijiye, aur agar kuchh cheezein doctor ji ne manaa ki hain to wo bhi bata dijiye hum dhyaan rakheinge!!!"

Maan looked at the middle aged man in front of him who cared so much for him and Geet, though he was in reality a mere servant but for them he was as much a part of family as their parents would have been…

"Kaka, wo waise to doctor ne koi aisi specific cheez nahi kahi hai par aap phir bhi bas yeh dhyan rakh lijiyega ki juices aur khana puri tarah fresh aur nutritious ho, nahi to aap Geet ko to jaantey hi hain, uska bas chaley to wo to sirf Gol gappa aur chaat par zinda reh sakti hai…"

Nakul Kaka grinned at this knowing well his Geet Beti's nature…

"Jee beta hum dekh lenge… Aaaj bahut dinon baad ghar pura lag raha hai bete…" Nakul couldn't help himself from saying that…

"Jee kaka aur abb hamara ghar hamesha aise hi rahega…" Maan spoke determined and gave Nakul's shoulder a gentle squeeze…

After Nakul left, Maan couldn't help but ponder over the happenings of the last few days, as a mater of fact, he could trust Nakul more than his or Geet's own family!! Nakul had been there with him throughout the thick and thin of his life and those who should have been there for him were busy creating more ruckus in his already entangled life!! That was the strange working of this world, where sometimes blood relations stab behind your back while strangers give you the much-needed support to survive!!!

Maan checked the prescription and calculated the number of hours before Geet had taken the last medicine and realized that there were still 3 hours left before she should take her next medicine after lunch so he gave up on the idea to wake up Geet, just then the door bell rang…

DING DONG!!!

Maan moved ahead to open the door and was pleasantly surprised to see her at here!!! Hell, he had just called her a few minutes back and she was already here, he wondered whether she was actually hovering around the mansion only and squinted his eyes trying to analyze from her face if she knew anything about Geet yet!!

"Hey Maan!!! Woh umm… actually main yahi paas mein kuchh khareedne aayi thi jab tumne call kiya so main seedhe yahi aa gayi…" The lady in front of her spoke getting nervous of the scrutinizing gaze on her…

Maan very well knew something was fishy as the nearest market from his mansion was at least 15 KM away while the nearest mall was 20 KM away!!! He preferred calmness and liked staying aloof and hence had built his mansion in this secluded area, though everything had changed after Geet came in his life filling it with her bubbliness!!!

But for the time being he pretended to buy her lie and invited her inside by gesturing her to come in… He had to analyze what was she trying to do and for how long had she been stalking his mansion???

"Maan… where are you lost???"

"Umm nothing… Please make yourself comfortable!!.." Maan said pointing at the sofas!!

"Thanks Maan… So tell me what did you want to talk about??? I know how badly you have been hurt in the past few days and I am always here to support you!!!" The lady sad deliberately trying to touch Maan on the pretext of consoling…

Maan felt amused at this girl's audacity, she was one of the reasons of all the turmoil in his life and here she was trying to act so innocent and had the nerve to actually console him!!!

"You can tell me anything Maan!! Tell me!!" She said blinking her eyelashes seducingly while Maan felt like puking but controlled himself as he had a bigger task to accomplish before erasing this chapter completely out of his life once and for all!!

"Well am really grateful to you SAMEERA for being with me… Actually I just wanted to ask you something…" Maan spoke having a great difficultly resisting himself from snapping her head off her worthless body…

"Sure…" She said taking a sip of the water offered to her by one of the servants…

"Kya tum mujhe bata sakti ho ki where is the doctor who did Geet's abortion…"

"WHATTT…" Sameera spluttered out all the water and wondered why was Maan asking this??

"H…how… ww..would i.. kkknow…" She spoke with great difficulty…

"Ummm abb main bhi kitna stupid hoon… Right… How would you know??? Par tumhe yeh to pata hoga na ki where is your mom right now???"

"Mom???" Sameera had by now started sweating realizing that Maan definitely knew something…

"Yes your mom SAMEERA SINGHANIA… Your so called mother MRS. SAVITRI DEVI SINGHANIA…" Maan spoke gritting his teeth!!!!
