HINA KHAN
As a teenager, Eid was exciting for me. I would hold my new dress in my hands and listen to the radio for updates on the moon rise. I would lay out my jewellery, shoes, make-up and prepare everything for the next day. The eagerness and anticipation was just as thrilling as the celebration the next day. We'd feast on a variety of delicacies. Nowadays, I hardly have time to wear my normal clothes. But I love kebabs, so mom ensures that there are enough for me.
