Katrina Kaif is currently one of the leading Bollywood actresses. Many out there consider her as the uncrowned queen of the Hindi cinema but it all happened after Salman Khan came into her life.

The 28-year-old British-born beauty started her career with a dud movie 'Boob',🤣 which only locked headlines for the wrong reasons and did more harm than good to the debutante's Bollywood career. It was Salman who helped her in her career and made her what she is today – one of the highest paid B'town heroines.

However, the diva doesn't hold Salman solely responsible for her success. The 28-year-old beauty gave some credit to her ex-flame but she reckons her hard work and destiny played a very important role in her career.

"I believe in destiny, God's hand and hard work. The audience has accepted me. But it's also true that I've known Salman for eight years. He helped me as a person. His presence in my life was for guidance and, straightforward and simple views. He has immense knowledge of the industry and this is where he helped me from going astray," Kaif reportedly said in an interview.

"Yes, I owe him gratitude, but it's unfair to say I would have not got a break without Salman. yeh kya salman BHAI ko nakaar diya 😲 In this industry, everyone has people in their lives to help them in the beginning. Salman was helped by Sooraj Barjatya and Salman also helped Sneha Ullal and Zarine Khan," she added.

While talking to a leading daily, the actress insisted that it was not Salman Khan but Akshay Kumar who instilled confidence in her and played a vital role in her career.

Katrina, who has worked with Akshay in the films like 'Welcome', 'De Dhana Dhan', 'Tees Maar Khan' and 'Namastey London', stated she learnt a lot from Akshay Kumar on sets and she feels Akshay is equally responsible for her successful Bollywood career.
