I think shiv needs to tell saanchi that he is part of the "Indian administrative service" not the "Indian badnaami service"
and that he has devoted his life to village improvement types of jobs (regardless of his status)... and consequently, saanchi too should have some respect for the villages of india.

yes i did not like it how she is against this marriage just becoz anandi is a village gurl!..she is so immature...as shiv's father said...the whole family including shiv is spoiling her...they treat her like a little gal..i think they don take her seriously...they think that she is angry today like a little kid who did not get his\her favorite toy...but tomorrow he\she will forget it and will be happy again! that is the reason shiv was smiling @ his sister's nadani today! 😔

Just like Ashima never understood the spirit of his profession his sister also doesn't seem to care for it.I don't see any point in him trying to explain to her.

But this is the first timeI liked a collector.I find them a bit pompous and sometimes full of themselves.Too bad.Shiv is only a fictional character.

I wish if only half of the collectors are like him India would have been a much better place.

The baby of the family does often get treated as a baby for the longest time. Somehow the eldest has to grow up and be responsible form a very young age and the youngest never really has to grow up.

I know coz I'm the eldest of 4 and my younger siblings have always had it sooo easy. But - trust me - even though she seems like a much indulged spoilt brat - any serious badtameezi won't be tolerated even form her. The seniors in this family know the limits of fun and good manners.

Saanchi won't be treated like a kid if she misbehaves too much. Chill !!😊
