Saif's Daughter Sara Making Film Debut With YRF

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's sixteen-year-old daughter, Sara, is reportedly set to make her acting debut in a YRF love story.

August 17, 2012, (Sawfnews.com) - Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's sixteen-year-old daughter, Sara, is reportedly set to make her acting debut in a YRF love story. Amrita, who will feature in YRF production Aurangzeb, has been instrumental in getting the deal. "Sara has got many offers but Amrita wants the best for her daughter. Of late, youngsters launched by YRF have got a favourable response from the industry. Amrita's talks with them have reached the advanced stage. It is heard Sara's debut film is a love story. Just as Amrita had debuted in 1983 with Betaab, a romance that marked the debut of Sunny Deol too," an insider told Mumbai Mirror. Amrita apparently did not refute the story, but refused to comment either. Sara had created quite a sensation when she appeared on Hello magazine cover with her mother in January 2012. It attracted the attention of the filmmakers, and she started getting many role offers. But there was never any talk of Saif offering her the debut film under his home banner Illuminati. When you're all of sixteen and being deluged with movie offers, life is good! Well played, Sara.

What is Amrita thinking?

Mother Amrita Singh has confirmed the reports, and said, "Five eminent filmmakers called and said they wanted her to be a heroine in their next project."

Is Sara interested? The girl is still young and has to finish her studies. Amrita has earlier said that her daughter is a bright student of science and aspires to be a doctor, further adding that she could also turn out to be a "sharp lawyer".
