Hey everyone, am back with my reports on the episode on request. Hope you all had a relaxing couple of weeks. The first scene was boring, so I will get straight to the point. SS with his elder son and the minister talking in his living room, and the minister informing SS that once he gets the killer of Sarju behind bars is all that he needs to fight the case against Arushi. He basically undoes the right he did by accepting one son, by rejecting the truth of his opponent's innocence. Shakti, who not too long ago, threatened an unconscious man and even overturned his hospital bed, is now sitting comfortably helping his father rule the city after never having been punished. The only thing he got was some jail time, all of which he didn't have to serve. He never gets punished, which makes me understand why he is so ruthless. Noone ever taught him right from wrong. At the end, SS promises he will find someone to fight for Guruma's goons and we know who it is. While I don't like the surrounding reason of his return, I am just glad he's back.
Krishna coming and refusing the kheer was understandable. His attitude of "don't insult me on my birthday and then offer me some homemade kheer later, duh" was justified. If GD felt bad, she deserved it. Shakti and Kesar were completely uncalled for. Shakti mocking his own grandmother was pathetic. Krishna did right by defending her and teaching Shakti some manners, which were sorely needed. Kesar, who has finally found her voice, should have used it to tell Shakti to stop bothering others instead of telling him off for not hitting Krishna. not only that, but Kesar had the nerve to say Krishna and Pratigya have no respect for their elders. It was on his birthday that Krishna himself tried to take the blessing of his father and grandmother and didn't even say anything when they refused to give it to him. Plus, Pratigya is the one who saved all of her elders from jail time, who exactly is the illiterate Kesar Singh Thakur to go around cutting down Krishna? Not in a million years will she ever enjoy with her husband what Krishna and Pratigya have in one day. She won't even get the respect of her son compared to what he gives his Ma because she doesn't deserve it. The rudeness once used on her has now found a mark in GD, and it's not attractive. Shakti smiles more these days, but it's never for a good reason. I am glad to see GD wearing a less acid-colored sari. However, it was weird to notice Shakti was wearing a purple eye color on his lids, one can see it when his expressions changed during the scene. 😕
Krishna's convo with Pratigya was so endearing. Prats shouldnt have been so hard on him, she should understand what he is facing because he is standing by her side. The part when he talks to Arushi is too sweet, that noone would dare touch her as the SIL of Krishna Thakur. If only that were true. The nightmare Prats has about the goons was very real, and I feel sorry for them. Because they wouldn't dare come near her if she was at the Niwas. But in maika they have reason to be awake at night. If anything, Sarju and the goons provoked Arushi and therefore they should blame themselves if one of them is no more. But of course, they need someone to "pay" for what happened and it has to be Arushi.
The last scene where SS goes to the farm to meet Abhimanyu was just cake. I wasn't too fond of the red highlights they put in his hair, but other than that he was yummy as ever. I knew SS would go to him acting like a dad and bind him to a promise. He wouldn't give him a chance to say no. He apologized to his other children not long ago for having a son out of wedlock, now he is creating another deception just so he can get elected. Good old SS, always doing whatever is easiest. So now his lawyer son can get him elected. The concern for Shakuntala was a nice touch and seemed genuine. What I loved was not just how Abhimanyu took his blessings, but the humble way he asked his farmhand to get some tea for their guest. You never see that humility towards the help in the Niwas. And as we know from the promo for the Maha episode, Abhimanyu does indeed agree to help his father. Abhimanyu is a gray character and I don't think he completely agrees with going against an innocent woman. But I know he will try to help his father and prove himself a Thakur. That's what worries me. I don't think he will win, but again I have no problem with him being back as long as we get some romantic scenes and other fun dialogues with Samar. I SO missed him on the show!
Stars of the episode: Krishna, Abhimanyu
My sabse favorite lines: When SS says in a relationship people have to help each other.
When Krishna says he will do anything for his wife's happiness.
