This is a message to the CVs and Balaji Telefilms...your game is over!!!! We, the fans of ARVI/ASHVIK AND ARMAN/SUSHITA are on to your "divide and conquer ploy" and we are NO LONGER buying what you are trying to sell.
ARMAN and ARVI themselves are 2 halves of a whole. ARMAN are the parents...with their own beautiful chemistry and love story (which you butchered and turned into a completely unbelievable mess) and ARVI are the children (whom you are trying to make copycats instead of giving them their own uniqueness and originality as befits their generation and trends of today).
Well we have figured you out and we have decided to cease comparing OUR 2 jodis and unite to pester the bewakoofs who have come up with these far out and bizarre tracks instead. So we demand the following:
1) The whole beauty of ARMAN was the deep deep love and "pavitra rishta" between Manav and Archana. We demand that you put a stop to the character assasination of Manav. It MUST cease. You have a mean MIL, a crazy psychotic sister, and a criminal son now to cook up plenty of drama with if you need storylines. 3 YEARS IS TOO DAMN LONG!!!! Enough already. Unite this strong, powerful jodi...show the deep love and intensity they built over the years for each other...and let them unite so that you can make better storylines and we can have the fun of watching how they kick everyone else's ass.
2) We, the ardent ARVI fans also demand that you stop making ARVI relive the path of ARMAN. You are destroying the uniqueness of both jodis by doing this. An analogy comes to mind that I still remember. In Saregamapa 2007 there was an episode where the last person got eliminated before the final 3 was selected. The final 4 comprised of 3 boys and a girl. The girl, Poonam got eliminated and the finale consisted of the 3 boy finalists. Himesh Reshamiyya, one of the judges, made a very profound and excellent point in comforting Poonam. He said " beta do not think you have lost...you have in fact won. You are the best of the female singers. We cannot compare Lata Mangeshkar to Kishore Kumar. She is a woman and he is a man. They are 2 different genders and 2 different voices. So you cannot say Kishore is better than Lata or vice versa. They are both excellent." And so it is with ARMAN and ARVI. 2 different generations. You cannot compare the love story of the parents with the love story of the kids...they are different generations so they will be different in their own way entirely. So cut it out with the repetitive dialogues and scenes and desist from copying the scenes from ARMAN's romance...even the rain ones...the only good ARVI scene we can cherish that is entirely unique is "Shirt Da Button"...otherwise there are tooo many scenes that are exact replicas of SUSHITA. Its even more painful because although they are not a real life jodi like SUSHITA, ASHVIK's real life chemistry is indeed far too strong and unique to be treated like that...it should be utilized and cultivated...not reduced to this.
Also, we can see what you are doing to our Purvi. You are trying to assasinate her character just like you did with Manav...to the point where you guys are not at all consistent with the storyline or previous scenes or sensible at all...in fact you seem to be actually just making stuff up!!! (One of my very favorite satirical newspapers, THE ONION, comes to mind...some of you guys should read it...it is just hilarious) Just trying to follow what the hell is going on has left me so confused I feel my migraines are coming back. 😕
From now on we are on the SAME PAGE!!! And this business of having to keep one jodi separated if the other one is united is just plain dumb. You have so many negative/grey characters that can provide grief...and so many potential storylines of conflict with them...that it is simply NOT necessary to separate the leads. You can have outside characters cause troublesome situations in their lives and show us how they go about tackling those TOGETHER without having to incorporate a misunderstanding between them and separate them. And now there is a total of 5 KIDS for ARMAN. COUNT THEM: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Cant you introduce some fresh faces, possibly potential romantic pairings and new tracks for these kids and make some stories around them???? Lord knows there is enough potential there for sure.
So final request to the CVs...Cut the BS. For all the forumers...STOP comparing and fighting and lets get on the SAME PAGE so we can force the CVs to start showing some originality and POSITIVITY for once and make Pavitra Rishta the number one serial on Indian TV again.

Fantastic post Arch...You have beautifully written in your own simple and amazing way n from your heart..What a positive and refreshing post Arch...Agree with all your points..well said.,.The CV's have really played the game of divide and rule among the fans..brilliant post..
Loved the way you have stated how Arman and Arvi cannot be compared with a beautiful example Arch...😉..Both Jodis are beautiful and unique in their own beautiful way..
Currently Hiten is doing a wonderful job as matured Manav.CV's need to do justice for Manav's character now and they should go back to the original story-line of Arvi that uniqueness which attracted many viewers towards them..That uniqueness and originality needs to be brought back for Arvi.
Also Archu needs to see some happiness ,enough of this crying.Positivity is in major need in this show..
I would also like to add that Sushita are a real life Jodi (who are no way related to the reel world or PR in that sense) and are different in their real life than reel life like all the actors and they are happy with their life being together.Reel and real life are different for all the actors.Arman n Arvi are reel life..It would be great if we all can appreciate this difference and not compare real with reel..Thanks Arch for such a wonderful post...😊
Brilliant point on Arman kids you have pointed..
I am so waiting to see a girl entering Sachu's life and Tej (may be its sameer) ..All the 5 kids need to be shown well settled in their life and making their parents proud and happy..Ah I so wish to some amazing interactions of Archu -Ovi/Tej ,Archu-Sachu and Manav - Purvi..
Arch..Kudos to you for such a wonderful and sane post..👏⭐️👏

Arch,
Wonderful Post and thank you for posting it. We are afterall watching the same show... and if the show overall does well, then all of our faves from the show will do well.
Im so tired of not only the divide and conquer on the show but also in the forum. I hope ur post will now help and we can try to stand as one unit to get BETTER scripts, dialogues and a show overall. The CVs feel they can dish out BS cause we are accepting it.
But... there is a saturation point and limit to all things and if the CVs dont watch themselevs, the audience limit will appear sooner rather than later.
I wish your post can be read by someone from Zee or Balaji, so that they can get with the program ;-).
Thanks again Arch and great job.

Very good post Arch . After seeing today's show I am afraid that something major is going to go wrong with Arjun and Purvi .Ekta should come up with some other tracks ...she keeps repeating the track of the other woman ...and it just kills the love story ..
She destroyed Arman's love story by bringing in Shravani and is now going to kill Arjun and Purvi by Ovi doing some major damage ( after listening to Punni's advise ) ...
There were so many other ways of taking the story forward and people would have even liked it a lot but Ekta and her writers just cannot think beyong the old ghisa pita stroy of the other woman ...

Pretty good one Archana..Hope CVs/Zee/Ekta hear us and do something about it..
After watching PR for 6 months, this is my take on this soap...
PR has got very good actors..All of them did amazing job in Kidnapping scene. But CVs very often go to their lala land and do not know what they are doing. Last 3 ARVI scenes were like fillers.. CVs can get lot out of them. This will only demotivate young actors.
Regarding ARVI/ARMAN comparison, I do not know about Sushita but I love Archana's acting.. and ARVI is my main inspiration to even watch an Indian soap that too for a non-Hindi speaking person.
One think I hate about PR is.. they always prepare us for a negative thing.. When Purvi confessed her love, they kept promoting Arjun-Ovi engagement. Now, right before Arjun-Purvi engagement they started promoting the separation/Arjun-Ovi marriage rumour/news. Why? Do they always want us to be depressed?
This week, though there is no news about seperation We are being pessimistic. We are not able to convince ourself to enjoy ARVI marriage preparation. This is so pathetic..
Ekta has been lucky so far.. none of the Zee TV soaps have manged to get better TRP than PR. I think, When Punar Vivah or some other soap picks up.. her CVs will wake up from their HIGH world and do something better. Anyway enough venting..Hope PR CVs make use of the best actors they have in hand and give us a good serial.
@Arch.. one funny thing is.. your mention about THE ONION.. 🤣
come on.. there are lot of teen viewers and forumites.. I sincerely DO NOT want them to follow ONION...

@V, first of all, you have to admit my friend, the Onion is HILARIOUS!!! It is totally satire...and in today's world...I'm sure our teen viewers and forumites have been exposed to a lot worse!!! 😆 And if they havent this is just a newspaper that pokes fun and makes stuff up (like the PR CVs 😕) and it will be a gentle way to expose them to the big, bad real world a little...as a Journalism graduate I have to appreciate the journalistic style and professional newspaper writing about stuff that simply doesnt exist...
Now to get down to business...
Thank you everyone for the remarks on the post...it is true...we are all watching the same show and have the same frustrations and angst regarding these CVs. I truly believe that all this bickering and comparisons of our 2 jodis are playing right into the CVs and Ekta's hands. We are so caught up in ARVI vs ARMAN that we are too bent out of shape to realize what the CVs are doing. This is just what they want...while we are thus occupied they can dish out whatever crap they want...even tracks that make no sense and are utterly without logic or reason...and we will take it. VERY SMART ploy by them actually. By doing this they are taking for granted that there are 2 fan bases. So if fans of one get disgusted enough to stop watching...the still have enough with the fans of the other to keep things going.
Well not anymore. As you all know I am a die-hard ARVI, and especially Arjun, fan myself. But I truly like ARMAN a lot and as I watched on and off over the past 3 years remember those cute moments and scenes...especially when Sushant was Manav. There was something very special about that couple...very special. I can also completely empathize with you all because I am not ashamed to admit that I seem to have fallen head over heels in love with ARVI. This fresh young couple has touched me to the core somehow...I had watched and followed Indian soaps before...all pretty much Zee shows but had NEVER been this active before on a forum for one!!
The truth of the matter is that we are totally and completely emotionally invested now. When they are together we are happy...when bad things and misunderstandings happen, the euphoria of watching 2 people in love is busted and we go into a depression. Right now the fans have been through horrible heartache with ARMAN...and have watched the mess that has been made out of a beautiful love story and relationship. The ARMAN fans have been put through the hell of having to watch as not only this couple was separated but their characters butchered, and their love for each other simply shunted aside for the most ridiculous and outlandish timing issues and misunderstandings.
ARVI fans are in the very awful state of suspense and fear...we are not able to even enjoy the fact that we got to see an engagement finally go off without a hitch...the interaction between the 2 has been reduced to barely meaningful...the totally charged up and powerful unique chemistry is being completely ignored...and we are not even allowed a moments peace to enjoy their love at all. Even when they first confessed their love...we had an SBS regarding Arjun/Ovi engagement...we didnt even get a week to see any decent scenes at all!!! And the CVs probably think we should be happy we got a couple of weeks of scenes due to the fact that they stripped him of his character, possessions and identity, made him a mini-Manav and threw him into a chawl. Right now, us ARVI fans have an axe over our heads...we know it is there, and we are just waiting for it to fall. We have unfortunately learned that the word "happiness" does not seem to be in these CV's vocabulary.
All limits have been crossed, nerves have been frayed, and enough emotions have been messed around with...it is indeed time to take a stand...as 1 united fan base...so we can no longer be played off against each other...and we will show the CVs and Balaji some TRPs. Being a very big Arjun fan, and in giving a nod to his "shaking a leg" on the Jhalak stage...I shall quote that esteemed master of Dance Masters...Remo sir...and say...
THIS IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arch, great post 👏.

Thanks for expressing the sentiments of many of the fans and forumites of PR. I do hope someone from PR reads your post and makes amends.

By the way, I love the Onion. It's just amazing and hilarious. The first time I read it, I was dumb enough to believe it was real until I took a glance at the name of the prestigious newspaper. My friend had a good laugh at me 🤣.

I so agree with you. The cv's are bunch of sadist and depressed people who are hell bent on snatching away viwers joys. As someone mentioned even before we can cherish the sweet moments a bad news/article just converts our happiness into sadness. And its really annoying to see comparison posts/comments but the cv's are at fault for showing the young leads to be a shadow of older leads. Its better if arvi are kept seperate from arman as this will bring freshness in the story
On a side note going by my experience of watching ekta's shows (my mum loves watching her show while i just have to bear torture :(poor me) i am very sure that its not going to be a happy way infact ekta will try to bring more negativity.

Great post, Archana. As an ardent fan of Arvi myself, I have been watching with dismay the recent developments in their storyline, and frankly it freaks me out. What is the necessity to separate them? Is it to just follow a parallel history ? Why? Why cant they have a unique story of their own? Why cant they just let them be themselves? Are the writers lacking in even that much creativity?
Rithvik and Asha are brilliantly talented actors, have great chemistry with each other that shoiuld be leveraged the most. ArVI can still be together and still stories can be woven around them. Why go this way of separation? Just because Armaan were separated, these two have to?

Why this constant negativity everywhere? Even in Armaan lives, when will they ever show happiness? Is this how a Pavitra Rishta supposed to convey? That if you love someone so deeply, all you have is unhappiness in life? Is it the same in all generations?

Come on CV's, wake up and look around our forum, if you lack for ideas, we have plenty !!
