I am a silent reader of this forum but I watch BV regularly. It is clear that choti maa does not want anadi to be her bahu as she wants a nayi naveli dulhan. This could be related to something which happened with her in the past.
May be when she became a widow, after a few years she would have wanted to re marry. Although the entire family seems to be chilled, her saas which is not shown probably because she must have died earlier would have objected the marriage as there is always someone who believes in traditions and hence, choti maa feels that if she was not allowed to re marry why are they bringing anandi in the family.
Or it could have been the person she wanted to marry, her family did not accept her as she was not "nayi naveli" and hence, she does not want to accept some one else.
