Pyaar Door Jane Na Deh
This was one of most wonder filled scenes of the episode for me. Wonder filled because of the change in Arnav, change brought about by LOVE AND LOVE ALONE. Arnav, a year ago was so hard hearted, egoistical, could not even say "Sorry" until he met Khushi and who treated her badly and hurt her. Today, this changed person, when he realized his mistakes what did he do? Sit back and repent all alone or wait until the next morning to apologize? No, he's all set to take immediate action; he has to see his Khushi and share with her his deepest feelings of regret that are overwhelming him.
Our man sets off on his mission, meets his Khushi (aahh, he knows she's as awake as him) and opens his heart to her once again. He goes over the past mistakes and when she's wondering why he's bringing it up, he tells her to just listen. Yes, he needs to let it all out and then ask for her forgiveness. The words come tumbling out; how her protests of innocence about Shyam fell on his deaf ears, how he did not want to listen to her at the airport and despite all this, how she risked her life to save him. He holds her hands in his and very humbly apologizes for all that he'd done.
I'm really sorry Khushi
Thinking a bit further, does anyone not make mistakes? So, what makes us different from one another? Firstly, to realize and accept that we made a mistake, secondly to apologize and try to rectify things (if possible), thirdly to try not to repeat our mistakes and lastly, never feel guilty i.e. forgive yourself. This, definitely Arnav has inherited from Nani and not dadi.
Arnav has already done all these and his love will help him correct his mistakes, even if he makes any.
'Aap ko yeh kahne ki koi zaroorat nahin' (you needn't have apologized) ' This defines Khushi, for me. The Khushi, who lets go the past deeds and is always willing to move forward, the one who doesn't bear grudges, the one who truly understands how much her husband loves her, cherishes and protects her. She's the only one who's privy to his heart and knows that his gruff exterior hides a golden heart. She's go generous hearted herself, that she cannot bear to see the pain and torture he's going through, she wants the Arnav ji back, the one who shouts at her when she disobeys, the one who teaches her things about herself, the one who always takes care of her, even when they are in disagreement. She'll do anything to relieve him of his burden and tells him she knows that he loves her a lot, dammit. They hug and find solace in each other's arms.
Isn't it true that 'Pyaar door jane na deh'; they'll always come together because of their love for each other, it doesn't matter what mistakes are made, in love, all is forgiven. I still remember a bit of the dialog from the Heer-Ranjha episode where Arnav says 'Iss pyar mein sahi galat ka koi matlab nahin'..' such a wonderful and apt dialog for their situation.
Devlish Dadi's plans
Yesterday, I thought dadi's agenda was to fix things that she did wrong in the past. Based on what Doods said about the past, it looks like she feels she could not help her son when he fell into the clutches of the 'OTHER WOMAN' (these are her thoughts) and it was too late to change things and worst of all, it led to tragic consequences. Now, she came to know just at the right time that her grandson is also in the same situation and history is about to repeat itself. She's trying to set things right and hence her mission; she's using all her weapons (good and bad) to serve her purpose. Of course, her whole understanding of what happened with her son and her grandson is colored. I hope she gets to know the truth, repents for her mistakes before finally checking herself into an Ashram {PLEASE SEE THE SIGNS POSTED BY BUSHY IN YESTERDAY'S POST IN CASE YOU ARE LOST}.
Anyways, coming to the story, Dadi is of course upset that her plans to stop the wedding failed. She tries to fill Devyani's (nani) mind with poisonous words about Khushi and Buaji and they are all deflected. Nani then lets out Khushi's mother's name is Garima and ting ting, the bell ringeth in dadi's mind. Hasn't she heard this name before? She plans her next strategy and pretends to be upset that Khushi's parents didn't come to see her. Arnav overhears her and finds out dadi's problem. He's extremely upset with dadi and agrees to take her to Khushi's house to meet Garima right away. A clever dadi tells Arnav she doesn't know anything about Khushi and finds out from him that Khushi was adopted by Garima and Shashi ji when her parents were killed in a car accident. Another ting ting bell goes off in Dadi's mind (meri dimag ki batti abhi tak jali nahin). Dadi looks satisfied that she received some confirmation on her theory (which we are not aware of right now). What's cooking in dadi's brainwa? Shall we wait and see?
This wonderful song "Jurme ulfat pe hume log saza de te hain" from the old movie, Taj Mahal, came to my mind. It's too beautiful and I hope Dadi takes a break from her tiring job and listens to it. Didn't Arnav tell you today that he loves Khushi, so why are you still creating trouble for him?

Garima's fears
From the moment she saw Dadi, Garima has been fearful. She's afraid of this old lady for some reason. Today we saw her praying, asking for guidance as she doesn't know what to do. One of her daughter's is already married into that home (Raizada's) and now it's her young one's (Khushi) turn. She doesn't want this to happen, but which mother would stop her own daughter's wedding and that too when she knows how much Arnav and Khushi love each other? She's unable to share the horrid past that's knocking on her door.
Khushi comes to tell her mother about Arnav's call and how his dadi wants to meet her. Garima starts trembling and wants to know why and tells buaji that she cannot meet dadi and then corrects herself saying she cannot meet because it's too late in the night. Buaji notices that Garima is not herself and tries to console her saying dadi creates fear in others, but there's nothing to worry about as Arnav is coming and he'll handle everything (WHY FEAR WHEN ARNAV IS HERE).
Ahh, Arnav is definitely in the role of Lord Krishna here, the one who's protecting the Guptas who trust and love him. No, they don't need to ask for his help; he just knows when and how to take care of things for them. May be like the Lord pardoned 100 mistakes of Sishupal and then struck him down, similarly, Arnav will put up with dadi's behavior until a certain point and then take action?
Bahut Mazaa Aaya
1) Karan Goddwani, wonderful acting, in the few minutes that you appeared, you made your presence felt.
2) Dialogs of NK bhai were classic once again 'Jawab hum kar rahe aur sawal tum doge', 'Tum kafi smart ho gaye ho', 'jo sach hain, wohi mooch hain'
3) The whole first scene of Arnav's apology was extremely well done. The cupping of Arnav's face by Khushi and the hug, both made us all go awww.
4) Barun Sobti, you emoted so well as the vulnerable, slightly tearful and repenting Arnav and then the expression of relief and joy was totally awesome.
5) Sanaya Irani, very well done.
6) Pyumori Mehta, you brought out the emotions and turmoil of Garima very well, both yesterday and today.
