For me,Sushilas character is now just like an ideal babu, they changed it a lot.she is a ji.maaji type nowadays.she used to stand against evrery odds in ANikets matters and now acting Weird during his most important phase of life. She is very sweet but has lost the initial magic and uniqueness.abt SHashwat day by day he is getting worse.i really don't know y no one is trying to control him or shut his mouth.hope monikangane doesn't join him and stay positive😳

Sushila's behavior is OTT I agree. But this is the main essence of the show Mili. Her attitude is far from servile and close to love and respect. She does love her MIL a lot, more than her mother I guess. She can disobey her mother for once but never disagree to her MIL.

she feels her MIL can never be wrong in taking decisions. So she blindly gave up her own thoughts and believes whatever Sanyukta is doing, it is for Aniket's welfare.

She is not heartily involved in this decision, u can see it in every steps. Whenever something bad lurks around the rituals of Aniket's marriage, her eyes reflects worry, pain, dilemma.

And when that clumsy matter sorts out, her eyes shine. Sushila is in in pure dilemma. On one hand is her MIL, the most respected person of her life, and on the other hand is ANiket, her baby like Brother-in-law.

We know Shaswat is wrong and Tejal is right as we are the audience. But how can Sushila know all this? She didn't see the real face of Shaswat. So it is definitely impossible for her to join Aniket's party blindly dumping her MIL..

Yes debs,maybe it's becoz she is confused of Tejals asli roop ,when she called Sushila bhabhimaa,her Mamta woke up for a short while,hope they be the best jethani-Devrani after things get sorted👏

@ Deba. I think Susheela does know that Shashi is a pain. However she is acutely aware of her own shortcomings as an heir to the perfectionist Sanyukta and lacks the self esteem to take on Shashi. In that regards, Tejal is more suited to take over the role of a stern guardian.
