Great post as always and loved the title😃

What could have had the makings of a great episode today fell a little flat because the scenes were rushed and in an attempt to pack everything into one episode, it lost its punch. We had some wonderful highly awaited moments today and it was almost as if they came and went without a clue

I'm grateful they did not jump directly into the morning scene; Khushi reminiscing about the ILU and the FB's were good; loved the return of "tu hi bata mere maula" and it was nicely picturized with both in separate frames Khushi waiting for his return and Arnav taking a spin in his SUV. There was a blank look on Arnav's face all through the car ride; I wish he was more expressive😕😕. Khushi wakes up to find herself fallen asleep on the recliner and the bed cleared out. Again I wish there was a small scene where Arnav returns to find Khushi asleep and either gently kisses her or puts a blanket on her or something😍.

Dadi drama takes off as expected in the morning and this time Nani and Anjali join in too while Mami is throwing in one annoying expression after another😡. While some of the concerns on the incomplete marriage rituals were valid, the character assassination and name calling was not needed, thankfully it was kept short and downplayed to an extent. Buaji is summoned in and reprimanded too and just when she is about to strike; the hero makes an entry to save the day and emerge the protector. While I love that Arnav is standing up for Khushi at every stage I do not like that Khushi is being maligned to allow ASR to shine through. The "apni patni ko haat lagane ki izzazat maine kisi ko nahi di, thappad marna toh bahut door ki baat hai" was a total seeti bajao dialogue and moment though😉. ASR goes on to assert that he does not believe in traditions and rituals and for him Khushi is his wife, Mrs KKGSR and that he does not care what anyone else thinks. I wish Arnav had revealed that he was the one who pressurized her into the rushed marriage, that way Khushi could been saved some humiliation and the fact that it was just a 6 month contract which anyways further maligns a woman only in Indian society would be kept secret. But atleast i am glad he is acknowledging to Khushi every step of the way that he is responsible👍🏼. The only consolation was that Arnav himself suggested re-marriage to give Khushi the respect and position through the proper rituals that society and family demands❤️. Loved how Khushi smiled and was so relieved to see her Arnav stand by her and go beyond his beliefs to give her her rightful position.

I think episode should have ended there with a precap to Khushi's confession. Loved how Khushi came back to tell him "aap bhi humse ILU dammit", the cute innocent Khushi using her Arnavji's words, his joy and smile that reflected in his eyes, her shy smile and "hum aapke aane ka intezaar karenge" was beautiful❤️ but terribly rushed. The smile and eyelock should have lingered slightly longer; a RV was essential and he should have reached out to hug, gently kiss or just touch her before she left. What a terribly wasted opportunity!

I know Shyam is much needed in IPK but I was not too thrilled to see him especially when the past and re-marriage track have so much potential without his twitching face added to the mix. But I guess all the tracks are inter-related so his presence is required and hopefully all his plans will backfire and he will prove cupid again; plus Daiyya ho every once in a while in the BG isn't too bad😆 Also why no promo announcing the arrival of Mr Snake?

I am impressed with the CVs, they have really delivered lately. I feel they finally have this show on track and reviving the magic this show once had. They know their strengths and have been building on that while incorporating strong parallel tracks in the process. The pace was decent compared to yesterday's lightening speed.

I was really hoping Khushi and Arnav would get the chance to talk but that does not happen instead Khushi falls asleep waiting for Arnav to return from his drive. Arnav at some point did come home as we see he removed the decorations from the bed, Khushi looks for him and worries when she does not find him little does she know that was the least of her worries

Dadi made her move by informing Anjali and Nani about the incomplete pheras, both being high on their beliefs confront Khushi who is left helpless once again. I was seriously dreading how this scene was going especially with Bua's arrival but fortunately things were not that bad. We had another 360 of sorts to what Khushi went through shortly after getting married only this time Arnav comes to her rescue when Bua is ready to slap her. Arnav takes a stand and painfully looks at Khushi while saying he knows the circumstances to which they got married, but this was not enough to stop Dadi's attack on Khushi's character. Dadi truly got on my nerves with her Khushi can't stay here. Last I checked that was Arnav's home not hers! No wonder Bua was ready take Khushi and leave but Arnav won't have it. He can't let her go, he won't.

Despite what transpired I doubt Arnav understands the importance these rituals are for Khushi especially in the eyes of society, the only reason he caved was because it pained to see his love slipping away from him. Arnav realized he had a choice, either be stubborn or cave to their loved ones and he chose to go through the rituals just to be with Khushi. He did do it for love, which made everyone but Dadi happy.

Khushi has to leave with Bua which saddens Arnav but Khushi being Khushi is able to put a smile on his face with her adorable confession. I honestly believed we would have to wait months to see Khushi tell Arnav ILU to his face but we didn't, she very cutely repeats his words but in a softer tone in KSR style. Arnav's face said it all. Just loved this scene to bits!!!

Daiya Ho! Shyam has returned and I for one am happy. His return is needed to move the story forward and we all knew he would be back for revenge just as Khushi and Arnav are getting close. I'm assuming Anjali helped him with the camera set up, how else would HP allow those men in RM??? Obviously HP was told about it in advance. Anjali isn't his only help though, I'm still convinced he and Dadi are working together, he must've been the one to tip off Dadi about the terrace pheras. Arnav is going to be extremely hurt by their betrayal.

So how exactly does Shyam plan to stop this wedding from happening and how will it backfire for him?? We know from his past history that everything he's done has only brought them closer, so this time should be no different but that doesn't mean he poses no danger to Arnav and Khushi because he does. Shyam is out for revenge which makes him extremely dangerous, Anjali will regret bringing him back in Arnav and Khushi's lives.

Hi everyone😊...to be honest, i quite liked the episode …. for me..the episode worked albeit khushi's confession could have been prolonged. this show is about arnav and anjali...this is what has been touted by the makers of the show altho it was promoted as a love story between arnav and khushi... all the 5 initial promos showed the bickering and love between the two of them...as the story unfolded, we saw that it wasnt quite so...it was actually a quartet between arnav/khushi/anjal/shyam and actually more so between arnav n anjali n their lives woven around a mesh of love/lies/betrayal/heartbreak/and what not. so ...looking from that angle, today's episode did do justice to the story line...but by now the audience has grown to love arnav and khushi n their sizzling/scorching/adorable/and what have you chemistry...so any lapse in showing that is sure gonna ruffle up some feathers...

today's episode was beautiful in the sense..it showcased khushi's dilemma, her love for arnav, her silent cries for acceptance by the dadi of the house…. wonder why tho..imo dadi has just been a devilish character right from the start...forget about khushi...she doesnt even care about arnav...her sickening hint of smile on seeing khushi being shown the door was too much to take...boo to such people in real/reel life...she doesnt frigging care about her grandson or for that matter anyone or any age old traditions...this character just cares about herself...compare and contrast her with nani...she has always been true to the traditions since the start...but she has also been open 2 adapt herself when she saw her kids love someone or want someone to be a part of their lives...so coming back to khushi...her character doesnt care if dadi is devilish/amazing...she just wants dadi to accept her...and that is the beauty of the character...it is very difficult to be like khushi...while it is very easy to be like dadi...

dadi plots n plans 2 oust khushi, calls buaji, tells her about halke sanskaaron waali khushi...ladka kuchch bhi kar sakta hai etc ...she spoke n she spoke and all i could hear was blahhh...arnav upholds khushi's dignity yet again by not letting buaji slap khushi for a fault which is not even hers, accepts yet again that he knows the situation in which khushi had 2 go thru this marriage...keeps repeating that he doesnt care about tradition...gets flustered when khushi is taken away nevertheless...and reacts by accepting a remarriage...it was endearing to see a guy who thought he couldnt breathe the same air as khushi is fighting to get her back in his life...the wheels have certainly turned...and it will turn some more coz today heralded the return of snake incarnate...ridiculous way 2 bring in shyam btw...who puts such 1980s style monitors n cameras...and his affinity with dark n dusty places...he is indeed a true snake...nevertheless we all know his plans always fail...so when he says wont let remarriage happen..there n then got the resonating truth that remarriage is so happening…i love his daiyya ho tune tho'😉

that brings me 2 khushi's confession..done in true khushi style...with her swinging capacity to sometimes speak english and sometimes not speak english...but i liked it with arnav's adorable smirks…but somehow it felt wanting...my complaint is they shouldnt have rushed it...she was confessing her love 2 arnav..isnt it a big thing ...and that is where the whole quartet equation comes into play...ofcourse trps are a big big factor in this equation ...but trps could have roped in with a detailed khushi's confession as well...but this time the cvs are sticking to their original plot ..for good...and all i could wish them is luck…..

p.s. anjali seemed to be truly happy for arnav's remarriage..heart warming or daal kaali….for me anjali cant plot against arnav's happiness so definitely heart warming😊

shyam got cameras installed n there was no security to check who is entering rm with what….

why has mamiji completely forgotten the affection she saw khushi had for arnav during kidnapping days..now even anjali has apparently forgiven khushi…doesnt make sense

An episode that hit so many story points and yet did not dwell on any of them and just let them play out for the viewers to read between the lines and enjoy the story they want to see and ignore the rest...Jo Dekhna hai woh dekho , baaki sab pe meethi daalo aur bhool jao...Hide and seek at its best. And unfortunately, if one is following a very particular story line, then that is supposed to be read between the lines and enjoyed. But that's fine. It is what has been happening since february anyway. Isme koi nayi baat nahi hain...humen aadat ho gayi hai.

The clash of ideologies that was brought up between the lovers yesterday begets more introspection from both sides, her on SR bed and him trawling the midnight roads in his SUV. A very subtle potrayal of lovers finally letting the love rise to surface -- with Khushi reflecting on the journey from Fark padta hai, Dammit kyunki... to I Love you Dammit -- with Arnie moving from righteous anger to the acknowledgement that he was once again letting his issues take over the love. And by the time, the Tu hi bata mere maula played out, both had reached the middle ground.

Khushi wakes up to find all the traces of their SR gone and goes out in search of Arnie and the lovers would probably have reached a amicable solution, if there is not a higher goal to be reached. Let's face it... if all issues are resolved amicably, we wouldn't have much of a story. But I would still have loved a scene where Arnie and Khushi actually discussed the night before. Oh well, water under the bridge.

The best part of the family face off was the downplaying of the mudslinging of Khushi as well as Gupta Family. Daadi did it with much more "class" than the Maami would have and other than the lack of OTT drama, there was little difference in what was said. It was how each would have said it that was different. So, in the end, class really has little to do with it, doesn't it? Whether said with an outright intent of humiliation or with the subtle taunting of questioning the values you raise your daughters with, the hypocrisy of the situation where you absolve your family's hand in it and make it all about the girl remains. Totally liked how the point was made with the minimum amount of drama required...

Arnie's "maine apni patni ko haath lagane ki ijazat kisi ko nahi di hai..." ... Laudable, but unfortunate choice of words considering what happened last night.😆.. Poor guy himself does not have ijazat from the wife to touch her 😆 😆and here is everyone else trying to swim in that pool...Stop it!!! 😡😡

So the way I saw it, he did what was required to keep Khushi with him. If you guys want the Goddamned rituals, reeti-Rivaj and rasam/sambhar to be done to get off my back as well as Khushi's -- fine, I will go through the rigmarole. I will marry my wife again. I will do what it takes to shut you all up. And since the wife wants it in the first place, it all works out swimmingly well because it will end up getting me the ijjazat to touch her as well. So there. Wait, why does she need to move out?? 😲😲 What the satyanash??? She has been living here for 6 months, for crying out loud...😡😡 Oh, another rasam... And is that a stupid smile on Khushi's face at the thought of separation being a rasam??? 😡Oh well... Pagal hai par cute hai...❤️ wait, focus. Pheres, rasam, rivaj and suhaag Raat... unfortunately in that order...whatever it takes... the next time the bed is made up, I am going to Just Do It...So there.

OK. OK. He did it for Khushi. Sab Khushi ke liye. And if it means I finally won a bet here and faced off Gul's Googlies successfully, then it is all conincidental...😉

Khushi's "Hum bhi aapse I Love you dammit".. whattay epic line for the show 👏⭐️👏 ... Right there with "Aap Shut up" and "humao bhi I do" for some good hinglish lines ... My hinglish literacy keeps rising ... Did Arnie need the words? Nope. Did he enjoy hearing it from her?? Oh yeah. Made the seemingly small separation much more sweeter... absence, heart, fonder ...

But then the seeti maar moment of the show.. Daiyya Ho..Shyam ji is back with cameras all over the Raizada House to keep an eye on peeps. Umm... Shyam, 1980 called. They would like their PCs back. Thank you. And the whole big fat indian wedding just got a lot more interesting because koi maane ya na maane, ArHi romance is just not the same without this guy Rabbave-ing the scorpion, soap or right now, CRT monitors in the background. Ab aaya na truck pull ke neeche...

Mixed reactions for the epi, but I loved the episode. All of it!😃

The pace was slower somewhat from yesterday but still it was fast progress.

We start from Khushi remembering the "farak padhta hai dammit" to "I love you dammit!"

Finally Completed.👏

And Tu hi Bata begins to play in the background, and my first thought. "Hai satyanash! Tu hi bata always precedes before Separation" I still love the song though, more than the rabba ve. Tu hi bata makes me emotional and want to cry my heart out everytime it plays. Its like the best gaana ever created. Yeah i'll shut up now.😳

Anyway, Khushi looks around for Arnavji, who is away on his stress busting drive around the same race track in Dilli in his beloved SUV.

Khushi waits for him besabri se, lekin piya ghar nahi ayaa. And she falls asleep on the recliner. (somebody was listening to Vee there)😉.

Next morning, Khushi wakes up, notices the bed all cleared and made up and still no sign of Arnav. So she goes downstairs to hunt and comes across dadi in her usual miffed grumpy glory. Who tells nani about the lack of pheras and nani starts her Khushi Inquisition.😕

How? Where? What ? Did they get married. And lack of a pandit phera means shaadi is null and void. Uh Really Dadi???🤔

And add in Buaji to the mix who 360's the shaadi confrontation and raises her 5 kilo wala haath to whack on Khushi bitiya's face, and i'm praying to god, please Allah, protect Khushi from Buaji's hand, Amma theek thi but not Buaji and Boom! God heard my Dua and Arnavji arrives in style. Full Seethi moment! Wah Arnavji! Complete with that oh so sexy tune.🥳

And Buaji's haath is 360'd. Last time Arnavji protected his poor back from the jaadu-ness maalish of buaji's haath and today he protected almost wifey's laal gaal from the jaadu wala haath. Full Circle.

Whattay dialogue. Love it Dammit!

This is what should have happened on that fateful day Arnav brought Khushi home after marrying her. Today exactly six months later he did it.

Buaji attempts to take Khushi home after Daadi flings bade bade words at her that sound like gaalis, and ASR attempts to stop her.

And Arnav saves the day and protects Khushi by agreeing to marry with full reethi rivaaj for the sake of society. The society he cares nothing about because in his eyes they are married.

Notice he says "Hum dono shaadi karne ke liye tayaar hai" and looks at her. Only Khushi ke liye, he will participate in all those rasams, he could care less about.

And Eh Lo! Shantivan Khush Hogaya! Bas itni si baat! And Buaji takes Khushi home so she can come back wedded in style.

And they leave. Till Khushi comes rushing back, and dadi glares at her. Until Nani get it and leave. Wah what a chamatkaar! The Raizadas leave the duo alone! Like Sachi Muchi! Progress!

And Khushi blurts out

"Hum bhi aapse I love you dammit."

What a very Khushi like confession. And Arnav Smiles the biggest smile ever. And fandom goes thud. (Main nahi. Fandom. Aap bhi na!).☺️

Oh Dhaiyya ho is back. Our very own Stupid cupid. Kehta Kuch hai hota kuch hai. So he promises to never let this shaadi happen. And we know when he says Nay it becomes a Yay. 😉So lets welcome Dhaiyya Ho. Phool barsao humara dhaiyya Ho wapas aya hai haircut karwake.😃

Oh and a shout out to our very own birthday girl, Rani Sahiba, who was upset with the epi. Bad epi today means good epi tomorrow.🥳 Hope you have a great day otherwise🤗Aap Bhi na!

HUM BHI AAPSE - I LOVE YOU DAMMIT !!!! Perefct Khushi style ..not afraid to show her feelings , shy , playful and sanak filled... How many times did I rewind this very line... Was it short ? Very , compared to the time it took her to realise her feelings and Was it expected ? Yes, she is known to go out when anyone shows her that feeling called Love and this time it's her prince charming who has promised to get her with fanfare. Either ways I loved it and could not have asked for a sweeter confession.

This does not mean that I liked the episode in its entirity coz I had the same issue that I had yesterady. The jet speed of each episode and the rush to get to the next thing asap. They took 4 months to move away from the MU and now they take 4 episodes and somtimes 4 minutes to move from one track to another.

When I thought Arnie & Khushi would seriously reflect each others sentiments over their argument on a wedding ceremony and maybe meet half way to say it ok or at least discuss it further we had Arnie agree to it all with minimum amount of arm twisting from the women of the house. There goes, wasted my back pat to the cvs yesterday for resurrecting ArHi ideaology clash . I was sorry to see it die down without a wimper. What clash ?

The Dadi showdown. I stay away from Indian telly shows for the very reason of characters who are at an extreme end of a spectrum. Either you will get a OTT sweet saas or an OTT dreadful one. In the end however reformed this character may turn out to be I have been appalled at her regressive thinking and assuming that she is the Jack that will bring in viewership . So her way of thinking is - My son was a man and its ok for him to be with another women and it was the "other women" or the "weak mother" that ruined it. The damadji is required for her pregnant wife as a child needs a father and a wife a husband however abusive he maybe . And if Khushi has an unwed status that is okay for my grandson but what about her own sanskaar ? I understand old fashioned , I understand orthodox and stubborn but I do not understand regressive thinking blaming a women for all actions by men. Thsi maybe the very reason that Arnie agreed to marry her knowing the insults his wife will face in the future. TRPs were good even before for the show . I am sad that the PH took this route. I no longer can say my show is different as it has lost that tag.

Return of Daiya Ho. I bet a lot of people are jumping and dancing "Mera piya ghar aaya oh Shyamji mera piya ghar aaya... " and I am definetly not one of them. Why the need to get him back so soon when dadi single handedly was doing a fine job of repulsing me . Last time The Ewww! factor was his touching and cupping Khushi's face this time the cvs have done better to install cameras in the house ? How Ewww!!! is that ? The 4 week break was a good relief so now I will have to FF more scenes everyday which on the positive side reduces my watch time to 5 mins. Thankfully I have a real life as a fall back!.

In the end I do not want to take away from folks who are looking forward to ArHi grand marraige. For me it is passe. The one positive thing I can focus on is that in the coming days with the rasms and reeti -rivaaj ( and not rivaazzz unless in urdu it is prnouced that way ) Arnie may learn the meaning of each and every ritual. Maybe Anji teaches him and Khsuhi explains each step to him... or maybe miraculously the pandit get thru to him and Arnie becomes a good listener ...!!! SKD here...

The big questions is that Will They or Will They NOT ...Tie the knot !!!
