No one is born evil! The world, the situation and mostly the choices of people make them what they are.. that is why Karma exists! Everything we are is a result of some decision of our part or some event of the world.

Its rather difficult to be white, unless you are a leading man or lady of a serial, when you are in the position of being always right.. Most people are light blue- they are self-serving but not to a fault. They think of their own interests, they are selfish, they lie and they gossip but they draw a line between right and wrong.. That is where people are.. Sometimes due to some dire situations or awful event, we slip into grey- intentionally harm people... I think Ayesha falls right in this category. She wasnt really an awful person. She was ambitious and in her quest of success and revenge lost her way and ended up pregnant. She also ended up betraying the one person who always stood by her.. Priya Di.. what she did was wrong and I know most of you hated her.. But from a perspective she could be redeemed if she understood her mistake and made amends towards it and we got a hint that she wanted to change her testimony..

Her reaction at seeing Priya was similar.. She loved her sister. She was just lost in her own way..

So while she was never my favorite, I didnt precisely think of her as true black villain. She was selfish and self centered but she wasnt evil per se. Today Ayesha stands at a crossroad.. she could make a choice and tell Ram about Priya and work on her redemption or she could choose her own self interest and intentionally keep a loving husband, still greiving parents and a lost brother away from the woman who they all miss.. and whose absence has left them empty and incomplete. If she chooses her own self interest, she would finally make that leap into black...

I personally think Ayesha would choose wrongly. She would follow Niharika's path for her fame and her son but I think that would be when she completely lose everything she ever loved, including the mother who has stood by her until now...

What do you think?

Yes Ayesha is definitely Grey..a dark shade of grey..
In this serial even the protagonists are not completely white..Ram and Priya too were shown with lots of flaws and have made mistakes.
So making a mistake is not wrong.Yes Ayesha is not black..she is grey. But from this point onwards her character wld get a shade darker coz she wld be always under Mamaji's influence -I think...
Also we do not know what exactly has transpired in last 5 yrs..
Did she feel guilty for being indirectly responsible for Priya's death..what kind of relationship Ram and Ayesha share.
There are various self-centerd(somewhat negative) aspects of her character revealed though..
1.She has been shown as a wannabe who only believes in putting people down(Nuts for example) and lives in a frivolous world of sociallizing and show-off..unbashedly spending Ram's hard earned money..
So obviously taking advantage of Ram's love for Priya(Ram has said..he wants Ayesha to be happy only for Priya and whatever he did or is doing is for Priya)
2.She cares a damn about her relationship with her brother coz he threw her out of the house 5 yrs ago ,conviniently forgetting what she did was outright wrong!
3.She cares a damn about Ram..we saw that in the medicine scene she conviniently chose to forget his medicines coz her bag was getting heavy
Even Niharika was not outright black..she was a vv dark shade of grey though..
True in the real worls black or white does not exist.,,even in our epic stories like Ramayan and Mahabharat the antagonists were not outright negative..
1.kaikayee--She send Ram to exile, coz she wanted her son to be the King and she did this under Manthra's influence..Inititally she always loved Ram,,but personal interests took over(here in BALH.Ayesha is kaikayee,Priya-Ram and Mamaji-Manthra) at the ebd she did repent and asked for forgiveness.
2.Ravana-He was initially a devout Shiv-Bhakta Brahamin and a great ruler..his sister was 'insulted' by the brothers Ram and Lakhman he kidnapped Sita as arevenge,,,after that he went into a self destruction mode..
The list is endless...Bali,Duryodhana etc.

Abt ayesha's character being selfish, i vud in a way hold shipra responsible.though priya brought up both her siblings instilling in dem same set of values, but where kartik's character still stands firm as he fails to forgive ayesha fr her role in priya's death, dre we have ms.ayesha ram kapoor who was always pampered by her mom.ok,yeah ayesha till now has behaved lyk a very average human being, who indulges in competition vid her sil (vich many normal women do) and she testifies against her sister just to save her love n i thnk she did love sid(coz she vent to sid even after he was thrown out of km),d thing was she dint believe he was wrong.currenty ayesha stands at a point where she cn fr once in her lyf put herself at bay n actualy try to repay wat priya, ram n her family did for her or she can continue being i,me ,my type woman n her character can go on to becum an epitome of selfishness.but sadly as per bt history, latter seems to cum true.

Personal interests and lack of being logical and heartful makes Ayesha a black person in the coming episodes. Her prime reaction on seeing her sister was surprise and she wanted to convey this to her Jiju with all the love and respect she has for her Sister and Brother-in-law. But she fell into the hands of a wrong person who inturn is selfish to meet his luxurious ends which he can't afford to earn. So make a girl with live for her sister a pawn in ur hands by showing that she will lose all the luxuries and her son would not have a great future.
Sometimes I think that Kush's upbringing is so similar to Natasha's and Rishabh's.
They were never taken care of by Niharika and Ram took care of them. Same is the case with the li'l boy too. Ayesha was never once shown to be with Kush and now she is bothered about the boy's future. She of all must have known her sister's and Brother-in-law's nature by now

hi neha...
ayesha is becoming very important in the show is she not??? When i named her Anaconda, it was for a reason... she displayed all the traits of a destructive person who reacted violently if things did not go according to her plan... right from the start.. when she decides that marrying ram would open a world of luxury for her.. since then there have been clear glimpses of her selfishness...
Today selfishness has been overtaken by a need for self preservation... she is aware that her status as Mrs. Ram Kapoor is thanks to her sis but she acts like she is doing rk a favor by holding up her side of the promise.. like ???
And ayesha has been very popular for listening to the wrong people always.. remember the Sid episode where she believes him despite being warned by both priya and natasha.. her testimony in court.. while she wanted to change it once she got toknow of Sid's duplicity.. she does not seem to have stopped loving the slime ball.. and that in my book makes her not only negative, black and vile but also downright stooopid...
Eva was brilliant as Niharika.. not grey, or black but vacillating between the two depending on the ocassion.. she is the true dark character,,, ayesha is just a wanna be... she will wreck havoc now ..we know she will but it is not going to evoke in us a feeling of total disbelif that niharika evoked.. people are jsut going to go EWWW when they see her!!!

my two cents... welcome to disagree
