Now he realised his feelings so he wanted Kushi to accept him. Even before he expressed it to her, why didn't he express his LOVE when she is about to leave the house , why didn't he do it when she left the house n not ready to come back , why only now?

Nice post and all your points are valid.When ever ASR touched Khushi she felt the magic.Even today when he touched her she felt the magic but the only thing that came in between them is the marriage rituals.For Khushi customs and rituals are more important.But for ASR he never cared about them they have no value for him.
