MEN HATE REJECTION! ASR IS NO 'EXCEPTION'!! :)

At first I didnt know if I should make a post! BUT I decided to do so after seeing some extreem forum reactions!

I think a lot of people have got the totally wrong end of the stick from today's episode! Many call ASR a "Jerk"! Some call him insensitive, sex mad , just wants to "Get some" etc etc... I think we are missing the point!

When it boils down to it, ASR is first and foremost a GUY! Guys have it in their DNA, to want their way! Essentially, they may act all "Macho" but they want to be loved and coddeled! First by Mum, then by other females in their lives (Sisters, friends etc)'.. THEN by that special someone! First maybe your Girlfriend, then your wife! My husband is the biggest baby in the world! I have a 3.5 year old daughter who is less of a baby sometimes! 😉Don't get me wrong he IS a mature man and he is there for me in every way!! BUT, if he feels that I am not giving him attention, then he sulks!

ASR wants his wife's attention and love! For the FIRST time in his life, he wants this from a women! Before women were dispensable to him! They didn't stir his emotions! La was in his house for months, he never sought her out! SHE used to seek HIM out! Most of the time, he was mildley "Indulgent" towards her, but that was IT! NOW in contrast, ASR is "Chasing" this girl day and night! He is like a lovesick puppy! You gotta give it to the guy... he pulled out all the stops to make this a "Special" Suhaag Raat! Decorating the room and getting her a beautiful outfit in his favourite colour! He wanted her to look like his "Dream girl"!! For a man like ASR, THIS was the height of a "Romantic gesture"!! He could have just "Cornered" her on ANY given day, but he didn't! So must give him SOME points for trying to make an "Occasion" out of this! 😳However... the issue here is NOT who is a "Jerk" or who is "Spineless" etc... THIS is about what some therapists call "The LOVE Language"!! What it boils down to is, everyone has a different way of showing love and receiving love! For Arnav LOVE lays in "Emmotions", for Khushi, it lays in "Rituals"! They BOTH want the SAME thing! To be "Fully Comitted" to each other! Khushi thinks the way to do this is to marry with ALL the Rituals! Do pheras etc... But for Arnav... it is in "Showing love"! HE thinks that by consummating the marriage, they are showing their FULL committment! In HIS mind, he IS fully committed to her! SHE is his wife! For him, NO further "Rituals" are needed! They must have registered the marriage, or else he would not say they need "Witnsess for a divorce"!! The "Contract" is an informal agreement where they have agreed to go their seperate ways in 6 months! (Kind of like a "Pre-Naptual agreement!). The existance of a "Pre-Nup" does not mean that it needs to be adhered to, but in the case of a split, it CAN come into play!But NOW, Khushi and Arnav have moved a LONG way past the mere "Contract"!! They are in love! Both WANT to be together! Arnav wants to consummate the marraige! THIS is HIS way of going to the next level and making the FULL committment! For Khushi, she wants to complete ALL the rituals! THIS is HER way of making the full committment! Once that is done... she will feel like she can take the relationship to the next level! When Khushi kept stalling and talking of "Pheras" when he was setting the mood to make love to her... he lost his cool! He wants this women, loves her MADLY! Wants to make her his, and she is saying that they are not really "Properly married"!! To him the way they feel about each other SHOULD mean MORE than rituals! (I personally agree!)... BUT Khushi is a traditional girl, and to HER, being Married in front of her family and getting their blessing is how SHE feels that she can step into her marriage FULLY! THIS is a difference in "Ideologies" which was ALWAYS their issue! They always had such differing views! BUT they want the same thing here!

i think asr was sexy in todays epi...hes asr...did everything his way.

Well said dear..!!! I dunno why people have to bash arnav for yesterday's episode..he will give khushi the proper wedding if dadi humiliates khushi or atleast he will fulfill the rituals when the name of their relationship is questioned..!!!!

u know when i watched the epi, i said to myself,now Asr there will be a lot of negative comments on 2day and i was right. U know the character ASR is so complicated that at times it leave u confused but no matter what we love him 4 confusing us.i love iss pyaar ko kya naam doon 4 giving us ASR & Khushi,two opposites yet so attracted to each other.And he was not a despo ,he just wanted to bring his relationship with khushi to another stage.
