The whole point of today's episode, was to make the audience ponder upon whether or not the leads are married? And quietly honestly, it was a job well done, seeing the confusion in the forum LOL..
"Rishabh has nothing to give except hate because that is what he is composed of. Maddy has everything to give because she is composed of love." You have put this beautifully! In fact your entire analysis is wonderful, but this one line demonstrating the contrasting features of both the characters, explains precisely what the writers of the show are trying to put out there to its audience.
MB knows right now, she is bound by the commitment of saving the life of a man, who ensured her existence in this world, when her own father was ready to murder her whilst she was in her mother's womb. And for that she is ready to go to any extent, even if it means throwing her life away!(precisely what she did today).. And as you rightly pointed out, it is not her weakness; and seeing how the writers keep giving the audience the unexpected, I believe once SM is better, she will strike back! No-one will undergo such humiliation and not think of striking back! We have seen in various shows where despite various humiliation the protagonist always forgives and forget, but this show has promised us a new concept, and I have no doubt it will live up to its expectation, I just hope some people are open minded, and watch this as a drama and not take it too seriously!..
We only got 4 pheras; hence 4 vachans all from his side, and the emphasis placed upon those 4 vachans, indicates he will be there for her, regardless of his behavior towards her!.. In a way no matter how much he harms her, he is always there to pick up the pieces!.. SM's beating, occurred mainly because of Bittu, and then he will be giving her money to ensure his treatment!.. Him marrying her (well assuming it's a marriage) in itself offers her a protection card against her father, who is out there looking for blood for his misfortune!...Plus he ruined her life, when he made the world believe she was his Laila, but him marrying her, erases that daag! (People will perceive things differently, but either way, things are done and said for a reason, and today's episode just opened up a lot of tracks, if done intelligently, so people should take a chill pilll!!)
