Janmashtami.. Birth of Krishna, a God who was born to kill his own evil Uncle. Basically, win over evil... Okay, so as we say, time for fight between, Good and evil, Moral and Immoral, Past and Present has started. With Janmashtami, a big twist is about to come. And we all know the big twist. Will Arnav and Khushi fight together for the Family's peace and win it or will their love has to be sacrificed for peace?

I don't know how to describe them.. and the wonderful episode that I saw.. Ill try..

A Princess, Lovely, beautiful and smart. Beauty with brains.. and A Prince, smart, handsome yet mysterious, met one day and kept meeting. They never fell in love in an instant. If the Princess was sweet, the Prince was arrogant and rude. They challenged each other everytime. They were always against each other. Prince knew the Princess was very kind by heart but he always blamed and taunted her for everything. The Princess thought the Prince was insensitive towards everyone, a "Demon" in her life but she also knew he has a heart of Gold. A lot of negativity in their relationship yet there was something building up in their hearts for each other in an tortoise pace. More they met, more the feelings grew. One day, dark clouds came in and there was storm. A heart, Prince's heart, which wanted to feel free was trapped. Another heart, Princess's heart, didn't know what happened. The Prince already had gone through the thunder before; he burst out this time because he couldn't do anything when previous thunder attacked him. Now he burst out since this time he couldn't bear it anymore. There was lot of fights, taunts, troubles, manhandling in the relationship of the newly married couple. But, the feeling still remained. It was too strong. Whenevr Prince wanted to feel that emotion again and whenever he felt it, he would remember the storm. And the Princess never got answers to her question, a biggest question of her life. One day, the Prince and Princess came to know their side of story. She didnt wanted to leave him since she knew Prince has been attacked by misunderstanding. That feelings in her didn't want to let him go. Whereas the Prince didn't believe her. One day, " Demon" of their life takes away the Prince, he goes away from Princess, Princess searches everywhere but doesn't find him. The Prince waits for her to come. Finally, after lot of struggle and with help of her friend, she finds him. They met. The incident in their life has shaken them up to the core. The feeling was separation made them more closer to each other. Separation changed their lives forever. The Prince comes to know Princess's innocence and throws that "Demon". The feeling which was growing their hearts, took another level. They knew they were "Husband-Wife" this time they would make their marriage valid. But there is a problem. A Princess brought up learning values, customs and traditions wants marriage to be solemnized while Prince, does not believe in it. Will they remarry or be another Radha-Krishna?

" Main toh Anjaan thi un bhi hoga kabhi.. Pyaar barsega un tutke": The marriage of 6 months was not accepted by Khushi since it was not valid for her. The person who did all sort of things to make her cry, he didn't believe he would do this for her.

"Sach ye ikraar hai, sach yehi pyaar hai, baaki bandhan hai sab jhoot ke" He doesn't care about any traditions!! He cares that they are in love. Thts enough for him. His feelings are beyond anything.

He doesn't believe in "Pheras" but for her he wanted to take "phears" at tht time, even though it was in his own way. But he proved hell go to any extent to make her his.

I Loved how he kept on holding her in front of Daadi!!!! The passion in his eyes was breathtaking!!

Lastly Confession by ASR...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "That I Love You DAMMIT!! And then her expression , a feeling of Bliss!!!!!!!

This is an episode I don't think I can properly write about. It was breathtaking in true sense & kept me thinking on the biggest dilemma a pair in love can go through. It was another episode that I would like to see from the eyes of Arnav Singh Raizada – a man in love, a man believing in his marriage more than anything, a man willing to go miles for his love. It was a refresher for the audience – meet "The" Arnav Singh Raizada – as he is. Get introduced to him again – if you do not get him.

The Happenings of the Night

The man who had to be coaxed for attending Puja, now needs no reason. Arnav, without any resistance and rather willingly, attends the Puja accompanying his wife. Has Khushi ever wondered why? Has Khushi forgotten how she had to plan to bring him to Puja the year before? I hope she understands – he still does not believe in the rituals, it is her who matters. As the matriarchs of the house lead the puja, Arnav keeps glancing at Khushi – his sole interest. He accompanies her to rock baby Krishna for the first time & take the blessings from their grandmothers. He neither flinches nor smirks as Nani voices her wish for grandchildren – he believes in his marriage, he wants his marriage to be complete. Anticipation of fatherhood does not fluster him. He reminds his wife – doesn't she always say that they should listen to the elders? Teasing he was – but the husband in him was more evident than anything at all. The teasing Arnav Singh Raizada, however, ceases to exist henceforth and emerges the desperate husband seeking time from his wife.

Khushi keeps dodging Arnav. On the verge of losing his patience, Arnav scolds Khushi in front of the whole family – demanding her to be in their room. How I loved him for that – a man fully comfortable to ask for his wife in front of the family, a man who knows this his wife cannot avoid. A shocked & unhappy Khushi asks Arnav an explanation for his behavior in front of the family. Surprise! Arnav bothers to give her wife an answer for his open outburst but in his own style, he understands & cares that his wife must have felt bad - "Kab se tumhe bula raha tha, tum sun hi nehi rehi thi." Really, for how long has he been calling for her? He has been waiting to be with her since his realization & acceptance of his love for her. He called out to her over phone – she heard but their union was never complete. He has been calling out for her ever since her birthday – but he feels unheard. How long he needs to call out for her – call out for his love – call out for their union?

He thrusts a wrapped gift on her and tells her to get into it. As Khushi asks if this is the way to gift anything to a wife, he says what we all needed to hear, "Mein aisa hi hu". This is how Arnav Singh Raizada is – he is in love but he is still the same man. He is willing to go miles for his love, he is willing to do things he has never done before for his love – but that does not change his basics. Everyone who is asking everyday why is Arnav doing this, why is Arnav doing that – you have got your answer. He is as He is. He will still lose his temper, he will still have trouble voicing his feelings, he will still not believe in rituals. The only thing that has happened to him is love – and that has happened in a way that is hard to fathom. His love has made him smile, his love has made him wink, his love has made him respect – but he is still the same man – because love betters but does not change.

Khushi steps out from the washroom in her Red attire, without dupatta, proving how much she believes in his rights over her. She was uncomfortable but did not resist wearing something "so not her type". She knew what that dress meant and she notices the preparation her husband has taken for their union. No, he was not teasing - he was serious about their union. Did she not seek for their union too? He makes her realize that she does not need the dupatta when she is with him only. That is for the world outside. In their little world, these barriers do not matter. He holds her hand, brings her to the place she deserves – she is not to be hiding in a corner. He rests the dupatta on her head – his bride she is. In front of Arnav, that dupatta is to make her his wife, not to hide her from him.

"Tumhara hoon mein aur tum meri" – their souls have united long ago. When their souls are one, what else really matters? Arnav believes in his marriage probably more than he has ever believed anything. He has never exercised any husbandry rights on her until he knew they were each others. He wants their earthly union to be complete now – but his wife has something else crossing her mind. I loved how he stopped immediately understanding her discomfort. It is not her discomfort that frustrated him – it is her denial of their marriage that did. When she says their marriage is "adhuri", he cannot take it. When this marriage meant everything to him, how could she say it still does not exist properly? If she could stay with him for six months without any Pheres done, why she needs phere to consummate their marriage? I understand his frustration, I really do.

He put the Mangalsutra & Sindoor on her on their wedding day, though he was loathsome about her, because he knew those mattered to her. So, now that she is all that he needs, he decides to give her what she wants. He takes her to the terrace, broke some stools & lit up what is only "fire" to him. Yes, terrace – the terrace that he claimed to have been imprinted on his mind as a bad irremovable memory, the terrace that tainted their budding love. The terrace where he thought he lost his love & faith, is the same terrace where he brought his love to give her nuptial promises. He lifts her up in his arms and starts circling the fire. How unimportant this whole thing is to him – he just wants to get it done with to make her feel better. Loved when he asked her, "7 or 8?" It does not even matter to him how many rounds they need to take. In his heart, he knows they have already promised everything to each other and they have already fulfilled their promises. Rituals are meaningless to him because he feels what those solemnize already exists between them. "Sach yeh ikrar hai, sach yahi pyar hai, baki bandhan hai sab jhoot ke" – what can surpass a union of soul?

Apparently, they are witnessed by Daadi – she may or may not have heard Khushi saying about their incomplete marriage. Arnav, not ashamed of their bond, not feeling guilty of anything at all, stands holding her in his arms. A battle of love over everything – a battle between unconditional love & traditions – love wins as the latter leaves not being able to stand the flame of their love.

Khushi keeps talking about a proper marriage while Arnav wonders "Tum he ho kya gya hai?" He does not understand why the girl who preached for heart & love is valuing norms over feelings. "Humare feelings se bar kar?" – he asks the same woman who taught her that matters of heart are above everything. "Humhe kya chahiye uska koyi meaning nehi hain kya?" – his first attempt at making her understand. She still proceeds – she still does not want to understand what matters to him. What really matters to him? That he loves her .. "That I love you, Dammit!" That is all that matters, that is all that should matter – Khushi knows that too, she understands. The man leaves, realizing he has finally said her why it matters – kyun faraq padta hain. Khushi stands alone by the fire – in pure bliss – her man has taken another step in love. He has finally spoken his heart out with his eyes into hers – vouching for his love with the fire that flamed, under the stars of the eternity, with the blessings of their parents. The terrace that was their nightmare has turned into a memory for the lifetime.

My POV on the Universal Dilemma

Supporting completion of proper marriage rituals is a social cause and I support it too. I want Arnav to complete their wedding properly, whether he believes it or not, because it has its consequences. But I also want Khushi to go back to their room, word her love for her man and proceed with their union. The hurdles they have crossed in love have made their love pure, they don't need anything else to prove it. It is to consummate their love, not marriage. I have no idea how the CVs will move this forward but for once I want Khushi to understand the heart of this young man when he says .. no lie or wrong matters in this love. Even if their union is interrupted by Daadi calling them from trial, I will be happy, as long as, Khushi gets on the same wave length as Arnav's. It is interesting how Arnav is preaching for the love above earthly norms – the love that defines Radha-Krishna – without knowing. Will Khushi remember this part of the drawing room discussion too?

Random Others

1) The trunk or chest Khushi was pushing reminded me of Pandora's Box. This little segment was not pertinent to the story line but was rather used for subtexts. Do notice how Arnav helped her and what happened thereafter. This segment referred to multiple tracks keeping the equation between the two intact. Broken glass refers to both 'celebration of wedding/ new beginning' and 'beckoning from the past'. Both have relevance to this segment in addition to the spilling of water. 😊

2) Anjali is getting all mushy over her phone. 😍

3) Story telling continues. 🤓

4) Akash blows the Shankh and declares "Abhi to hum khud bacche hain". 🤔

5) Sanaya looked amazing in the two new outfits and different eye-makeup. 👏⭐️

6) Barun excelled in voice modulation this time – loved how his tone shifted frequently & fittingly to convey desperation, anger, desire, love, pain, helplessness … 👏⭐️

Arnavji glances at biwi,reminding her subtly yet again ki aaj unki SR hai! He's happy to get the kind of reaction which he expected from her! He is that one and only person jinko pooja,aarti etc se koi matlab nahi hain,unke man me toh apni patni k saath impending raas leela k khayaal ghoom rahe hain! 😳Phir bhi,jab mauka mila Khushi k saath Nandlala ka jhoola jhulane ka, eternal opportunist woh mauka haath se kaise jaane dete? Jhoola jhulate waqt ek baar Khushi ki nazar kya chali gayi Arnavji k chehre par,woh toh mudkar dekhne lage!Unka bas chalta toh na jaane kab tak jhoola jhulate hi rehta,poor Aakash had to come and remind bhai ki uska number nahi aaya hai!

Arnavji k response k toh kya kehne?! Tum hamesha kehti ho na bado ki baat maanni chahiye?Suna nani kya keh rahi hain? Waah!Arnavji ko papa banne ki badi utsukta hai!
Yaar yeh scene ko itni jaldi kyun khatm kiya,it seemed sort of incomplete to me.

Toh suitcase me suhag ki sej ko sajaane ka saaman tha! Ohh!Now we know why he was so eager to get it that day! Kahin dadi k haath lag jata toh?

Khushi stops him,citing her reasons.Arnav is frustrated and wants to know if the pheras are so important to her? When she says,yes they are important,he drags her to the terrace.Stools toh waheen pade they but maachis kisne rakhi terrace pe?

1. dhinka chika moment...as we all knew his confession was going to happen the way it did...in the heat of the moment...in between an arguement!!!!

2. was so excited post confession that could not stop smiling and looking like a fool...proof my kids asked why am i smiling without any reason!!!!
