Just a few pointers:
1. We need to keep in mind the genre of the show, its a soapy ROMANCE and not a social drama, and if Pratigya could forgive and forget in in Pratigya, a social drama then what do u expect here.
2. we need to see things from Khushi's angle and not from our own, she resisted him when he tried to woo her the wrong way but why should she resist now, she can see that he has changed for the better. People are complaining that golgappas and chane are not the right way to pacify her but to her it seems golgappas and chane is enough, not because she likes them but because it signifies that the man she loves has changed, he understands her now and so no more opts for a designer bag or an expensive saree but Sallu's posters and a box of jalebis. He is determined to make things right, the 1st step to which was taken when he accepted infront of her that watever mess their life is now its his own creation and khushi shouldn't feel guity at all. She can thus see that she has somehow managed to change him
3. Furthermore, people often talk about what all Khushi has done for him and his family, going to the extent of almost embracing death for hi Laadgoverner, and believe me I love her for all that. But the night Arnav bartered his life to save Khushi's, (the hut scene, where he could have risked it and tried to escape as khushi herself suggested but he also willing embraced death, again almost, though), the man right away stole my heart. And I personally think his redemption started then and there.
4. ASR did wrong in forcing Khushi to marry him and I accept that... well personally I'd say he did the right thing though for the wrong reasons... but tell me something wasn't it wrong on Khushi's part to keep him in dark when she knew about Shyam's evil deeds, but no you'd see it as her sacrifise, right? Why do we ignore her little selfish motive over there, her jiji's marriage to her love.
5.Also god knows why people are overreacting to the current romantic track, wherein Khushi is shown to be like a bashfull new bride, blushing when her husband teases her and going weak in the knees when he comes close. They have had this chemistry since forever in the show and then its love u know!!!!
and then she knows that ASR is not what he used to be, he has changed for her, to the extent that he feels comfortable to cry infront of her and that is what matters, because if she hung to the past she'd end up being like Dadi and we surely don't want that
5. And finally, ASR is not perfect and neither is KKGSR, they have both thier own flaws. But its good that they have them as were they perfect they wouldn't have created a mesmerisingly perfect love story.
THE BEAUTY OF IMPERFECTION IS THAT IT'S ALWAYS PREGNANT WITH PERFECT STORIES...
