Yes I hate being judgmental but one contestant who doesn't appeal to me as much for singing as for other personality related issues somehow is Amit. He seems very diffident and negative (I feel negative vibes) and jealous!!!
May be I am totally wrong but this is something that I felt very strongly just now and thought would pen it down.
having said this I loved his first performance on the aiwein song, it was so full of energy and was so perfect but after that somehow for me at least he seems to have gone awfully wrong!! and even his voice quality doesn't appeal to me unlike Vipul's whose voice has a very soothing quality. Devendra is very good but his voice still sounds a bit immature to me. As for Poorvi, I don't feel judgmental about her at all strangely. I feel that she is just reserved and shy. I don't feel that she is snobbish or has an attitude problem. I like her singing and her voice and her presence. She has the X factor in her strangely and when she sings she comes alive because otherwise she is poker faced. Yes she did slip on surs etc yesterday but I feel that it has more with her adapting the song and trying to bring variations in it (as Sunidhi pointed out she scatted, etc...) than singing awfully wrong.
Well as usual just my two cents and strictly my opinion and I suppose all of us are entitled to having one isn't it so guys??
