Part 6.

*Flashback*

Anjali: I was SO happy before you came and entered my life and cursed it.

Khushi: Di I kn-

Anjali: With her hand, she gestured Khushi to stop, she couldn't tolerate hearing any more nonsense from the 'home wrecker'. You've took my CHOTE, my HUSBAND, all my HAPPINESS away from me. She melodramatically wailed.

Khushi: Khushi began to panic, not knowing what the right thing was to say to a fragile Anjali. Di, please aise mat kahiye..

Anjali: Kyun? Oh yeah that's right, you have a husband who loves you to such an extent that he forgets his own Di exists and on the other hand you're loved by my ever so faithful husband because I obviously didn't satisfy him as much as you did.

Khushi: Di, yeh aap kya keh rehi hai? You know that Arnavji FORCEFULLY married me to save YOU because you're the most important person in his life and will always be and blame me as much as you want but please, PLEASE don't blame yourself over that scoundrel. I can't see you endure so much pain because of his filthy motives.

Anjali: Do you want to help ease my pain? She bluntly asked.

Khushi: Yes...Yes, of course.

Anjali: Then go; get out of our lives. Leave this house forever Khushi.

Khushi: Unbelievable, she couldn't sync in that Di out of all people was requesting her to leave her 'whole world' behind her. I...I know you're angry with me but I can't leave, this is my home now... She cried.

Anjali: Either you leave or I will.

Khushi: B...b...but what about Arnavji? We've only just started to love each other. His my husband, I can't leave him like that, I can't leave my family. She protested, annoyed at how unfair Anjali was acting.

Anjali: Now you know how it feels to be separated from your own husband.

Khushi: Don't be like this Di, I'm sorry but I can't do it.

Anjali: YOU agreed to help me and if you truly want what's best for this family then you will leave and NEVER enter mine or Chote's life ever again...

*End of Flashback*

Against Anjali's wishes, she had entered her Arnavji's life after 4 long, torturous years. They faced each other as he continued to aggressively hold onto her whilst his eyes intently gazed into her teary ones where they mirrored exactly what he felt, affliction, regret and anger yet relieved at the same time.

*Flashback*

Arnav: Khushi, what's wrong? You're being unusually quiet today.

Khushi: She was still trying to recover from what Anjali was requesting her to do an hour ago. Kuch Nahin. She lied, smiling back to assure him.

Arnav: Keep smiling because I have a surprise for you. He beamed causing Khushi to hyperventilate.

Khushi: What surprise, Arnavji?!

Arnav: You have to close your eyes first and no peeping until I say so. She did as he ordered. Okay, open your eyes now.

Khushi: She looked down to see Arnav down on one knee. What are you doing, Arnavji?!

Arnavji: He got a stunning, sparkling diamond ring out of the box and placed it on her finger, shocking her.

Khushi: Arnavji. She gulped. Yeh kya hai?

Arnavji: You know I don't do romantic lines so Khushi Kumari Gupta, will you marry me?

Khushi: But we're already married.

Arnav: Yes but not properly. I want to do things right this time and you were the one who was moaning last night about how we haven't done any proper rasms. I just want to give you the wedding of your dreams.

Khushi: She was more than touched at how Arnav was trying to rectify everything between them but she also had to consider Anjali. This isn't necessary.

Arnav: Khushi, you wanted this yesterday! He said getting up annoyed at her bipolar decisions

Khushi: Why start our relationship over again when it's going to end? She thought, distraught at how imperfect her life is. I don't need these materialistic things to keep me happy, all I want is for you to be happy all the time, even without me.

Arnav: How can you say that Khushi? YOU are my happiness, without you I wouldn't have learned how to laugh or even smile again. He told her, cupping her face in his hands as she started to weep. I will make you Mrs Arnav Singh Raizada again, just watch. He declared in a husky tone.

Khushi: Removed his hands away from her face and silently walked away without uttering a word. He failed to understand Khushi at times like this.

Arnav: Khushi ko kya hua? He said to himself, deciding to talk to her when she's in a better mood.

*End of flashback*

Khushi: Leave me, Arnav. She repeated in a much calmer tone, breaking the deadly silence between them. It was no use, his grasp just got tighter and tighter.

Arnav: I'm not going to leave you until I get the answers to my questions. He scowled as she moaned about the physical pain he caused her.

Khushi: You can't make me answer anything. She retorted, only increasing his anger.

Arnav: He brutally twisted her wrists behind her back, causing her to cry in pain. We will see about that! Where the hell have you been for the past 4 years?

*Flashback*

Payal: She left you this letter.

Arnav: He snatched it off her, desperate to hear from his one and only love.

Dear Arnav,

I'm just going to head straight to the point. I no longer love you so I see no point in wasting my life with you when all my life with you has really caused me nothing but masses of grief. I'm refreshing my life now and I think it's best if you do to.

Good bye FOREVER.

His Khushi, was gone forever...

Khushi: Why do you care...it's none of your business.

Arnav: You're my wife! Of course it's my damn business. He yelled directly to her face, almost bursting her ear drums.

Khushi: Correction, meh tumhari pathni THI. I'm not now so you have NO right, NO right at all to question me Mr Raizada and since you're NOTHING to me anymore I will have you done for harassment if you do not let go of me. She declared, her voice matching the same level as his.

Arnav: You will have me done for harassment?! She nodded as he sarcastically laughed. I'm Arnav Singh Raizada, in case you have forgotten.

Khushi: I guess old habits never die, do they Mr Raizada? Still the same ego head.

Arnav: Well it's pleasant to see that you no longer look like a prostitute anymore although you probably are still begging money off rich men like Rahul.

Khushi: How dare you?! You know NOTHING.

Arnav: Correct; I know NOTHING because you just left leaving a lousy letter.

Khushi: What do you want from me? What do you want me to say? She yelled.

Arnav: I want to know why you left.

Khushi: Well then re-read the letter.

Arnav: I want to know why you REALLY left.

Khushi: You were a BURDEN upon me.

Arnav: How?! Khushi, everything was fine between us, no Shyam, no misunderstandings and we LOVED each other. Then out of nowhere YOU made a quick transition but even then I still tolerated and loved you. He almost pleaded for her answers.

Khushi: Please, just leave me, you won't understand. She softly weeped. That was 4 years ago, just drop it and move on with your life for god's sake, look you've bruised my wrists now. She moaned.

Arnav: I don't care! Oh but he did as soon as he saw blood trickle down her arm.

Khushi: Ow! She cried, he finally released her, easing her pain instantly. He watched as she tried to fix her wound up. You always do this to me!

Arnav: Give it to me. He grabbed her hand but she tried to let go. Stop it and just stay still. He demanded as he grabbed a napkin from his pocket and gently wiped the blood. Her eyes were closed as she whined over the pain, he watched her, secretly amused and then swiftly ripped a bit of her saree off.

Khushi: Her eyes instantly opened wide. Have you just ripped my saree? How dare you?! But he ignored her and continued to wrap the material around her wound. She watched him in frustration but with admiration at the same time at how he still genuinely cared for her.

Arnav: There. She shook her hand away from his grasp.

Khushi: Even after 4 years you still have the capability of hurting me. She muttered. Some things just never change.

Arnav: Don't act like you haven't hurt me.

Khushi: I see Karma is doing its job well then. She sarcastically replied.

Arnav: I don't want to waste my precious time arguing with you, I just want answers. He growled.

Khushi: Well I have places to be. She said, walking off but he quickly grabbed her wrists and pulled her back into his arms. Let go! I seriously need to go NOW.

Arnav: I don-

Rahul: ASR! Arnav let go of her.

Khushi: Don't say anything to him about us. She whispered as he came closer.

Rahul: Khushi, ASR what are you doing here TOGETHER?!...

Precap: Will ASR reveal their past? Will Khushi ever meet him again or is this their last encounter?
