Ok so i know i have to update meeting in air... but i just had write this one shot.. been in head for a while now. So hope you like it!
"Hi!"
A chirpy khushi bobbed her way into Arnav's cabin holding it seemed pieces of paper and now, she was also waving them infront of a perplexed looking arnav.
"Arnavv pleasee can we go for this movie?"
"Khushi! Calm down! What movie?" Arnav had never seen Khushi this excited for a movie in the last 2years of dating her. Jalebis yes, paanipuri yes. But a movie?
"Is it one of your stupid salman movies again?" "
"Nooo arnavv its bruce wayne!" she said dreamily
WHATT?? YOU KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA actually want to wants to watch the dark knight rises?"
OK the world was definitely ending arnav's mind. The mayan calender had to be right. There was no other way in which khushi would agree to watch a batman movie . And yes he made a mistake while thinking all of this. He snorted
"You know what , you piece of scum, you undigested piece of jalebi.."
"Your vocabulary gets more colorful by the day khush. Where do you come up with all this from?"
"that is not the point you heinous warthog"
"Then what is?"
"I saw all the batman movies by this Nolan fellow you keep talking about so that I could make YOU happy by surprising you for this movie since you've been wanting to watch it since ages now. But you go ahead and snort You SWINE."
She turned to face the windows and looked across at the view infront of her. She loved coming to his office. The view was always amazing at this time of the day. Especially on Wednesdays. The bright colors and hustle of activity calmed her from within.
"OK! Khush , we'll go" Arnav smirked as he saw her go to the part of his office she adored the most and he certainly knew why.
"You will?" Khushi turned back almost immediately , eyebrows way up in surprise
"Ya! If you can watch batman for me and get the tickets, yup. Lets go!"
"Whattt?"
Arnav smirked knowing the reason for her panic.
""Lets go khushi"
"Ya! Sure. The movie's at 6. And its 4 right now. So you go ahead finish your work . I'll wait here. "
"Nahh its ok. Work can wait khush. Lets go"
"Arnav ur the boss.. you cant leave like that?! Plus tickets for 6."
"I am arnav singh raizada. 2 tickets wasted are not going to kill me. Plus knowing you, you'll probably sell them right now on ebay. So do me a favor and move your sexy little ass and come with me"
"Ummm ok.. " Khushi felt defeated, her plan was soo down the drain. Dammit! She had managed to catch arnav in the office on a Wednesday after so long. Going for a movie was so much of a waste.
They moved down the stairs. Hands intertwined together, causing everybody to look up. It was always a treat for the office staff to see their boss not riled up. Or riled up for completely different reasons.
"Arnav why did we just pass the car?"
"relax khush , lets take a walk, should we?"
"You want me to walk 5 kms.? Are you insane or…."
Arnav effectively stopped any further complaints by kissing her thoroughly and pinning her to himself with his arms encircled around her.
"Baby? "
Arnav smiled. He loved her random endearments. Baby , a term he hardly thought appropriate warmed him aswell.
"Just a while. Ok . promise! No 5 kms ."
"Ok!" Khushi nodded. And giving him another kiss, settled into a slow walking pace. Enjoying each other.
"Here you go! Your movie"
"OMG! " Khushi's eyes shone with love
"Yes Khushi Kumari Gupta. I did not forget it was a Wednesday and that there was this circus coming to town. However why they always chose the space below my office baffles me. Maybe they know as well that every week this day, you look for excuses and eat my brain out with the most stupid reasons we should meet in my cabin and not outside so that you can stand by the windows and watch everything from above. So well here you go. See your circus from down here today. From right in its centre"
Khushi gulped. Never had she thought that arnav had figured it all out.
"You knew baby?"
"Always. If it concerns you always." And they kissed , loving each other completely.
