| Film | Week | Notes |
| Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna | New | Historic opening and good reports. |
| Anthony Kaun Hai | 1 | Poor first week business and will struggle to recover. Has outside chance to recover costs in Mumbai |
| Darwaza Bandh Rako | 1 | DISASTER |
| Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar | 1 | DISASTER |
| Omkara | 2 | Managed to sustain very well in Delhi/NCR but fell heavily elsewhere. After two weeks business, the only circuit which will make money is Delhi/UP due to good business in Delhi/NCR. Surprisingly the UP/Bihar belt is weak. |
| Golmaal | 4 | Super Hit in Mumbai. Overall ABOVE AVERAGE |

| Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna Box Office Report Karan Johar must be a very happy man as he sees his film getting two and three stars from the critics which means big box office returns as critics in India are wrong 90% of the time. The film is the most expensive film in hindi film history with a budget of 45 crore. It has gone 5 crore over budget. The opening was historic as ticket rates were hiked with record amount of shows. The best opening came in Delhi/NCR and Ludhiana/ Chandigarh area where it created havoc. Overall the weakest circuits look like being CP Berar and Bihar as the film will struggle to sustain in these circuits. The film is a certain hit and its second Monday will determine if it will be a superhit as the first week contains many holidays. All multiplexes look set to set new records for first week while at most single screens it may not beat the records of Krrish due to lack of entertainment for the stalls. Overseas it is certain to be the biggest grosser ever as UK sees total business of 275,000 for Thursday and Friday. |
