All this while we thought it was all because of Salman Khan's support that Katrina Kaif was able to leave an indelible impact in Bollywood. In an industry where one either needs strong contacts or a filmy background or exceptional acting skills, Katrina has been fortunate enough, as everybody thinks, to find Salman who played a key role in helping her attain stardom. But in her recent interview to a daily when asked if she believes she wouldn't have been where she is today without him, Kat said, "I strongly disagree. Yes, I owe him gratitude, but it's unfair to say I would have not got a break without Salman. In this industry, everyone has people in their lives to help them in the beginning. Salman was helped by Sooraj Barjatya. And Salman also helped Sneha Ullal and Zarine Khan. I was young, impressionable and hardworking. In fact, Akshay Kumar is one of the few people who instilled confidence in me. I pick up things by watching people around me, and I picked up a lot of things from Akshay. To be fair there are many people who have played different key roles in my life." While many are thinking this is just a way to generate huge interest amongst fans because the movie is nearing its release date, it could also be seen as a way to shut rival Kareena Kapoor up! Here's how.

A few days back it was reported that Kareena has taken a dig at rival Katrina in her forthcoming movie "Heroine". Sources revealed that in a scene from a movie where Kareena is talking to a journalist, the actor says that a certain actress in Bollywood has been successful only because her boyfriend, who is a superstar, has been rooting for her. The remark is obviously directed towards Katrina. Kareena even goes on to say that the journalist should check the actress' passport which can reveal her real identity and nationality. If the rumors are to be believed, the actress who plays the part also bears striking resemblance to Katrina.

Looks like in a bid to prove her mettle, Katrina has succeeded in shutting Kareena and her critics up!

lol no way...there no well known actresses in b grade films. That's what I was saying... if she hadn't met Sallu she would have done many b grade films but Emraan films aren't considered b grade films...so I was saying she had no chance to even work with Emraan.
