A few thoughts about the actors and the characters they portrayed today ' all really well done.

Hiten played the dad to perfection ' the swallowing, the imperceptible shift in glances, the worried look, he donned the role of Manav like a second skin today. His gentle concern for Purvi at the beginning of the hospital scene which turned into an indiscernible distance when she makes reference to Arjun, his darting looks at Ovi when she threatens Purvi, his consoling his distraught daughter, the exchange of glances between Archana and him when Ovi returns to his arms after boldly exhibiting her bitterness, his discomfiture at being privy to Arjun's and Purvi's conversation within the room, his look at Tej to see how she is taking it to his walking out of the room after Ovi, all deserve full marks.

Rithvik was the hero today as DK told an unconscious Arjun, he has done his dad and his mom proud. He throws propriety to the winds (as he always has done and always will do, sigh!) as he calls out Purvi's name and beckons her to him. The exchange of sweet nothings between them (what else can you call it even though it was the most mundane exchange of enquiries on mutual well-being) was so natural, he has no thought for anyone else in the room, a propensity to disregard all else, even himself when it comes to this girl he has given his heart to, was so revealing. He loves her and cares not if the world knows about it or is it that in his mind, no world exists beyond his Purvi?

Asha did Purvi more than justice today. Her holding back her emotions in the face of Ovi's accusation, her hesitation in entering the room, her glance at Ovi's face when Arjun stretched out his hand to her and then her total oblivion to the world around them as she talks in that sweet, little girl voice that she seems to reserve for him alone. The two were ensconced in a private little universe even as the others looked on.

Tej was just Tej, collected, mature, measuring the expressions on Purvi's and Arjun's faces. She has realized this is not the same boy they had to trick into calling or spending time with her sister, Ovi. This is a man head over heels in love, so much in love that he is prepared to sacrifice his everything for the girl he loves, his comfort, his habits, his career, his very life.

DK overhears Arjun and realizes the depth of the love his son as for this middle class sanskari girl, sanskari she is, she does care for Ovi's pain, why else would she allow Ovi to trip in front of her into the room and hesitate to place her hand or go near her love?

Last but not least, Shruthi was wonderful as Ovi. When an actress plays the role so well, we, the viewers empathize, dislike, or rail at her. Ovi makes us do all that. Her pain is palpable, this is her best friend, her love of years and her dad is aware of her anguish, perhaps, that is why he is unable to jerk her back to reality by telling her that said young man has given his heart into the safe-keeping of another girl. The way she berates Purvi then retreats into the safe haven of her dad's arms was like that of a child that performs her bit then goes back into hiding in her parents' arms. She is very much a child, has not grown up except for flashes of the woman who has been scorned. She looks daggers at Purvi before she enters the room but the next moment trounces off to Arjun's bedside very reminiscent of a little girl. She switches again to woman, the way her fingers unclutch to clasp his outstretched hand, bespeak volumes. Her bitter look at Purvi when the latter slips her hand into Arjun's says it all.

Superb performances by all.

Ankita was beautiful as always and Archu was Purvi's mom to the T, her gathering her child, her stepping close to Purvi at Ovi's accusation, her step forward towards Ovi as she walks off, her guilt ridden look at the end, were all par excellence.

Aside: by the look on her face, I don't think Archana is going to retract ' the challenge still stands. I do hope DK will clarify the Churan matter on Monday and inform Archana as well as Arjun that he has reclaimed Arjun's money from the hospital by giving DK's own and paying in full for the little boy's operation. This way, Arjun can fairly win his challenge and Archana will not lose face either. Arjun would score doubly, by having collected the 10K and two bullets for Purvi. Can't beat that for a character reference in an intended groom.

Janhvi dear wonderful analysis re...😊..beautifully done...Here are my two cents:
Kudos to the entire PR team for the performances for this high drama week...Everyone were fantastic...👏...
Anki/Archu is always beautiful any day in any dress...😉...(nothing new for me I guess in that 😆)
Today's significant of things to come was I guess Manav holding Ovi and Archu holding Purvi and both looking each other helpless due to their responsibilities (This time their children)..
It bring back the old painful memories again..
Manav - Archu looking each other helplessly due to responsibilities..(Last time it was Shravani due to senior Sachu and this time its their own children...)...
Guess until the last day of this show these two are going to just look helpless one way or the other due to so called responsibilities..
I wonder re when will CV's give them a chance to sort their issue first n show them being a supporting base for their children and not responsibility .
I think the term responsibility has ruined Arman's life..Its high time Arman get some time together to figure out a way to turn responsibilities into supporting mediums.,..
As though Ovi's issue is less (no time to focus on her to get her back on normal track) ,getting Soham from clutches of Varsha n Balan is going to be such a big challenge..I wonder how are they going to waken Soham inside ruthless Vishnu...For Soham ,Arman have to unite as one and fight ,no option,I dont see how that is going to happen unless they turn their responsibilities into supporting mediums.
I also see a very important aspect of that significant scene where Manav is holding Ovi in his arms n Archu Purvi...I feel that both Archu n Purvi will realize that Manav is needed more for Ovi even though Purvi would love to talk to her Baba about the MU and Manav will be helpless and would want to talk but could not due to Ovi's current condition..I feel that somewhere down the line if Arman go apart further coz of this,I think Purvi (not sure about Ovi) might realize this that its their issue which is keeping them apart n might do something about it...Not sure may there is possibility like that especially with divorce date nearing.
I am disappointed with CV's for not allowing Ovi to move on..CV's are making Ovi look so totally out of place and trying their best to force viewers to not to sympathize with Ovi ..Its sad to see Ovi in such a state that too considering she is Arman's kid.She is shown to be having no traits of Arman (no matter the situation,Arman have always been those sacrificing fools,Ovi is shown to have not even a iota of humanity presently and shown as a obsessed n possessed girl) CV's are not allowing Ovi to move on career wise too..I feel so bad seeing Ovi in such state..I will never understand the concept of making Arman kids negative.CV's really have destroyed them badly. Why cant it be shown that Ovi is moving on and becoming successful in her career. Her anger is justified towards Arjun..Let her be angry on Arjun but with the fact that Arjun is Purvi's and not her's..Let her even not talk to Arjun but keep away from Arvi and move on n focus on career..That would be more justified to Ovi's character..
I think that once Ovi moves on ,she will surely mellow down and once she mellows down she will understand that her hatred for Archu is infact her yearning for her and would forgive Archu n accept her. For that to happen CV's need to help Ovi to move on..My only hope is CV's do some justice here and end this stuck Ovi track and allow her move on either in her career or get her a new man who would for a change love her from bottom of his heart.Ovi is not a bad girl re she needs help and CV's are hell bent in not helping her..
At this rate if she is not helped, she is going to very soon end up in mental asylum turning completely mad..This is such a sad state..
Gosh I feel so bad for Shruthi, she seems to be a sweet girl and is forced to enact such a role in bad shape which she is doing it so well and with full dedication. I hope for her sake CV's do something for Ovi..
To add to this we have now Vishnu pissed with Manav..I think now Arvi are out of danger ,its going to be Manav n only Manav now as the target..
Just a case of another disaster coming Manav's way for helping his closed one...Balan n gang along with Vishnu is going to be a big big challenge for Manav...And this time I think he will and he only be the target physically...
I think Manav getting hurt in some way (not too much a little) might hold a key here..result - Archu's emotions coming out in full swing. It seems Archu will never open her mouth and Manav too due to the responsibilities tag..
The one thing that will make Archu go crazy is Manav .If anything happens to Manav then thats it..
If this happens Manav's confusion towards Archu will vanish somehow..I think its imp first these 2 clear out their issue before anything else by hook or crook...This will hold a significance for them to unite together to get back Soham,...
Major trouble coming Manav's way...Poor guy he is so much trouble now and alone... Bombarded from all sides now..Not sure how he will manage Ovi here too...I think he would need Archu by his side now and hence I feel may be this revenge Manav track might bring Arman together again...They have to get together now for the major Vishnu/Soham thunder going to strike them in full force.

Great Post as always...👏i think you are one of the very few here who understand's every character, 😊 i think Archana might not stop purvi seeing arjun but she won't say yes yet...and the reason now is not arjun being not good enough... the reason now would be manav and ovi..after what manav did for purvi to just allow purvi and arjun to get married is wrong...i know most of you'll are going to hate me..but please read further...i want manav to approve..i want ovi to realize arjun is not his and let him go..if archana says ok now this family will never become one...and they become one just for purvi...arjun has done his part in making archana realize now it is purvi's turn to make manav realize...and both of them together (arjun and purvi) must make ovi realize..the kid needs help...archana can't interfere because she won't listen (though she almost did when ovi ambushed her, but purvi stoped her by holding her hand) manav loves her way too much...and the state that ovi is in now is because of arjun not intentionally of course..😉

Jhanvi,
Loved ur post !! 👏👏
You have beautifully written each of their emotions and how they portrayed them..Especially loved the ones in bold..I know, it is most of your post !!😊...

Archana really hasnt spoken a word since two days, but all her emotions are so well shown with just a glance...This side of Ankita's acting is what I like. She does them beautifully...I am not very fond of her scenes that has too much melodrama or high pitched dialogues and heavy crying. they dont move me as much as this did. I wish she was like this always..i dont mean not having dialogues but rather restrained acting. i am probably in minority in this.

Hiten also does a great job as a dad. He is a very matured actor, just stuck in this role sometimes which is not appealing, but he is very good at being Ovi's dad especially shows just by a gesture and look about his understanding of his daughter's pain.

Ofcourse, shruti is great as the now Ovi. She has made so many of us dislike and criticize the character so much, that is a recognition of her talent. I feel that she is doing much better as this crazy, obsessive lover than the one she was before arjun's revelation. I always thought of her as a little stiff with wooden expressions before. never could relate to her. But, since then, she has improved by leaps and bounds.

About Arjun, do I need to say anything ..😃...He is and has always been very open about his love for Purvi (sans that crappy 6 weeks), his first and foremost priority has always been Purvi, center of his world. His first thought after he woke up was Purvi and had to make sure she was alright !!

Arjun and Purvi's had a very simple conversation today, but the emotion and love in each word that you can feel is absolutely flawless.. Both Arjun and Purvi were absolutely marvellous today. Purvi is no less than Arjun nowadays..she has bloosomed so much now, love the way she is so open about her feelings with Arjun.

Absolutely loved what you said below, and it applies to Arjun and Purvi totally today, especially with everyone around them who dont approve of their relationship, except of course DK.
The two were ensconced in a private little universe even as the others looked on.

I too have a doubt that Archana might not retract in the back of my mind, mostly, because of Manav and Ovi, but I am hoping against hope that she will. Otherwise, she is not being fair to any daughter of hers. Especially Purvi. She should not have to bear the outcome of Archana's guilt over Ovi. THAT is not fair... Even if she tells DK to take Arjun home reluctantly, Arjun might say that he will complete the condition as he wants Purvi at no bar.. I will want that too... Archana needs to give her permission unconditionally not out of momentary sympathy or gratitude for rescuing Purvi. If not, I also want Arjun to satisfy the condition, give the money to Archana and say "here u go" and would like Archana to give Purvi's hand to Arjun literally...Let us see what happens.

Jhanvi.. wonderful analysis as always.. I just watched the episode.. I had very different opinion about the episode before watching. All actors have done wonderful job. Ovi has actually emoted so well. I was surprised to see Purvi's uninhibited conversation with Arjun. The transition in Ovi's face during that scene was so good. At the end, all of them gave a look at Archana which was like "Do you still need time to accept this guy?" I loved it.. let;s see how CVs handle this..very curious..

Excellent post Jahnvi! All the actors are doing a marvelous job and Shruti has improved so much. I at first, didn't like her acting that much but after becoming the possessive obsessive and volatile scorned woman, she has really proved her mettle. I like her acting better than Teju's nowadays. I still like that simple conversation she had with Purvi at the mandir. There were no over the top dialogues, no melodramatic outbursts and they spoke very civilly to each other, which I think made the scene more real and natural.

As for Archana and the challenge, I think she will withdraw the challenge. She was too busy, concerned with her daughter's well-being to actually register that Arjun had risked his life for Purvi (even though his actions I thought were foolish and practically put all three - Manav, Purvi, and himself- in danger). Come Monday, I think she will understand that Arjun really loves Purvi and that he is willing to go through anything for her. I have faith in her, but not the CVs 😃.

@ red - Jahnvi, Priya (the actress who plays Varsha) does have really pretty eyes, doesn't she? I loved her as Varsha in the beginning. She was flawed but she was real. All the characters were great in the beginning but now they have just became caricatures or shadows of their former selves 😭. Even though the original Arman (Sushita) had charm and chemistry to draw viewers to PR, I was a fan of Varsha and loved watching her and Satish on the journey of their pavitra rishta. They were my favorite couple in PR and Satish was awesome. He was a great friend to Manav and Archana and a great husband to Varsha. It's a shame that all that has come to a ruin. I loved Varsha's spunky attitude. She was the outspoken one of the family and though that used to get her in trouble, I liked this quality about her. She didn't beat around the bush and was very frank, but she was also a great support for Archana when Arman's divorce was coming near (she and Satish were co-conspirators 😆). I still remember the episode where Varsha needed Archana to stall the divorce, she told Satish to come up with something since Satish was driving Archana to court. The plan was silly (Satish purposely got entangled with traffic cops to make Archana late for the hearing) but it was a nice effort on the part of Varsha and Satish. And in the end, they succeeded in stalling the divorce!

Jai, I agree with you too (last things first) that Manav is going to be the focus of Soham's misplaced anger. I saw the other post which said Soham is angry with Arjun and so will marry Purvi. That could never happen, let alone them being brother and sister, it would be dumb to make Archana her own daughter's sasuma. That said, yes, I too thought things are going to come to a head, Soham is going to come after Manav with a vengeance. And like you said maybe Manav getting hurt will force Archana to drop all barriers between them. Maybe there will be crossfire and Varsha will die in the cross fire between Balan, Manav and Soham or Soham and Manav or Soham and Balan and she will take the bullet for Soham and die. That way, she will be out of the picture and Archana will have just cause to forgive her sister for saving her son's life inspite of all that she has done.
Yes, ARMAN need to unite if they are to face the Soham track together, there is no way out except to do it together. It will cause them both a world of hurt to see their son like this.
I don't think Purvi will ever give up on Arjun now or that Arjun will ever brook Purvi giving up on him, that is a thing of the past, Ovi or no Ovi. CVs can at least give Ovi shades of grey but they are blackenting her character. You are so right, I cannot see ARMAN's kids turning out bad and that is why cannot imagine even Soham being all evil. Maybe they can show Ovi bitter and angry but meeting a nice young man who is able to take the chip off her shoulder and her bitterness and make her realize that she loves this new person more than she ever imagined she cared for Arjun.
Holding their kids separately did not bode ill to me, I felt that in their glances was a resigned understanding, a look that parents exchange sometimes in exasperation, sometimes in frustration when they are not able to handle or understand their kids. I think the Ovi situation will bring ARMAN closer, nothing like having a common goal to unite anyone especially a husband and wife and unite they must for their daughter's sake. She is seriously out of control, she knows the guy does not love her and while her angst in her father's arms is understandable, her walking into the room before Purvi smacks of immaturity and an unwillingness to accept the truth. Something needs to be done ASAP to help the girl.
