After witnessing the effect on Archana following Purvi's kidnap; I do not understand why the writers do not show these two characters recognizing what they said and did 18 years ago. Are these characters completely void of empathy and compassion?
Manav came and took Ovi and Tej from Archana; he even told Archana to stay out of the lives of his family. Savita even tricked Archana to stay away from the family; did she not realize the impact it would have on her? Today she witnesses the pain Archana is going through - that's the SAME pain she had when Ovi and Tej were taken from her but she does not connect the dots.
Savita apparently is shown trying to console the family? That's strange when she herself was responsible for spliting it up? And now she worries about Purvi on top of everything? When did that happen?
Finally, Manav doesn't even note or comment that with Purvi gone, Archana has lost Soham, Tej, Ovi and Purvi - all four of her children.

I understand Archana is sometimes unbelievabley sacrificial to the point an audience member can loose sympathy for her, but let us be serious...Manav and Savita or not exactly very good people either. And if Manav does feel Archana has suffered and is no longer to blame, than he should grow a spine and say it to his mother and his daughters.
