Part 10None of them knew how the day turned to evening and the sun went for cover. Arnav was for the first time in his life able to share his feelings with someone. They both sat close together trying to keep warm, the forest couldn't offer much warmth after the sun had set and the fire wasn't warm enough to keep them warm without squizing together."Kushi, come closer you are going to freeze to death if you don't"
"No, i'm ok"Kushi said shiverring on her side of the fire not wanting to get any closer. She had seen movies of these kind of situation and she knew what would happen."Eyy creature, im not going to do any of that stuff relax"
OMG had i thought that out loud kushi thought."stupid, stupid, stupid!"
Arnav stared at her while she cursed at herself. He had never seen anyone as stabourn, dum and naive as her. Even though she took him to the edge of madness she was cute and easy to talk...Arnav what are you saying??? Cute... You think that creature is cute!? Phhh cute my ass. She makes manorama auntie look normal, crazy is what she is."oye hero, what happened?" kushi said staring at him with her hand in midair as to ask what he was thinking."i...i.. *atshu* kushi sneezed before he could make up a lie. Arnav then without thinking twice went over to her side and took her in his arms. *atshu* she wouldn't stop sneezing and Arnav took off his shirt and handed it to her. Kushi took the shirt and put it around her legs and leaned into Arnavs embrase. Kushi what are you doing..??? Move away. You can't do this. While kushi was debating with herself Arnav was having an inner turmoil of his own. Sitting there with kushi, both their arms touching skin to skin. Kushi lesning against him with her head perfectly placed under his chin and his hand around her tiny frame Atnav didn't know what to do. A part of him was telling him that it's wrong while the other part was telling him to never let her go.None of them spoke for a while, maybe out of fear of spoiling the moment or maybe out of quilt. They just sat there looking at the bonfire, feeling the moment. For once the creature and the hero co existed in harmony."arnav... Something is breathing on my face" kushi said feeling something foreign on her face."what is it?" arnav said not in the mood to wake up."I don't know.. I haven't opened my eyes yet."Kushi said really freaking out."well open them." he said between his teeth frustrated.
Kushi opened her eyes one mm at a time. First she saw a dark spot and sun behind it.. Feeling scared she searched around for arnavs hand and held on to him tightly. Then she took all the curage she had and opened her eyes and..
"aaa!!!! It's a cow!!" she screamed burying her head in arnavs chest.
"mooo..!" the cow ran of scared of her scream and Arnav turned his head to tease kushi but was awestruck when he saw her angalic face eyes closed shut and lips closed tightly into a thin line. Her hair was falling on her face blocking his view of her creamy skin. Arnav was enchanted, he lifted his hand and tucked it behind her ear.
"arnav i can feel something touching me.." there was no answer..
"and something is still breathing on me.." still no answer. Kushi had hoped that she would find arnav once she opened her eyes. After the evening they spent together she felt a strange feeling like he was staring at her.
"arnav..?" she opened her eyes when she found no answer and was met by the most beautiful brown eyes she had laid her eyes on. The smell she smelled the evening she had met him intoxicated her mind and his breath made her aware of how close they were lying. She could feel his weight on her. He was so close that his breath was fanning her face. Kushi stared at him. His perfect face, thin lips and ohh that masculin chin. He was carved perfectly.
Without her permission her hand travelled up to his face and traced his face from his forhead to his chin then back to his cheeks and stopped there. With her hands on his cheek and his on the side of her face, they stared at each other for what seemed like forever before Arnav moved his hands gently to her lips and touched her at the corner of her lips sending fireworks through her.
