Absolutely; Aishwarya should have been allowed back in the challenge. The decision should have been that of Gajender Singh and the three judges. The parents are allowed to have their opinions. They are concerned about their children being beaten and eliminated and rightly so; but parents opinion should not have played a part in Aishwarya not being allowed.
Personally I do not think much of Gurpreet's singing. The remarks of the judges portray they like her for her size, cuteness etc....I am looking forward to Gurpreet and the other boy whose mother spoke about Aishwarya to be eliminated in the near future. Perhaps Aishwarya may not have won....but at least she would have got a chance in the competition if Gajender Singh thought it good to bring her back.

Well, parents should not be deciding factor. They are not running the show. That's what judges are for. And finally if the tournament rules are going to be bent then let the producers and judges decide it. This is not a school for god's sake to argue every thing. Your kids are in a competition, you are not. And what fine examples they are setting for their kids. Do they want their kids to grow up thinking that they can avoid competition in real world when they grow up? No they can't and this was the time to prepare them for it. Aishwarya will get a chance and by god's grace and the talent that she possess, she will scale great heights. Good luck to her. And last but not the least, atleast let the audience decide. Gajji could have used his SMS card, but then he is not known to use it sanely anyways.

Absolutely, undoubtedly, positively Aishwarya should have been in this LC contest. I found some of the parents comments very lame specially Pawny's father's comment about "Aishwarya being on Steroids" 😆 Whats up with that??? Anyways done is done and she can take part next year but I was extremely happy to hear her sing again. God bless her!!!!!!

The only thing that stood out of yesterday's episode was Aishwarya's singing, great singing no question, if she was a contestant she deserved a triple A+

However got to disagree with my friends here this time around

Rules are Rules

The contest already started one contestant has been eliminated(whether the contestant is worser than Aishwarya is not the point). If Aiswarya has to be included, they should bring back the eliminated contestant, and restart

Take for example II-2, a contestant was brought into the 2-3 round and he ended up making the top 4/top 3. The judges gave him a pass in the first couple of rounds just to get his bearings straight, these things happen when you bend rules

This all is supposition that Aishwarya would have breezed through, what is to say she might have had a bad day and gotten eliminated? The guy who was eliminated has also sung great earlier, so these things happen. If you take only yesterday's episode(in the US) Pawni sang the worst(my opinion offcourse), does that mean she is the worst singer of the lot?

Best thing is have Aishwarya wait till the next round of Lil' Champs(that might be a year or two away) and she is will not miss out on that b'cos of age.

Our dear Gajubhai very well knew this is very good for TRP's, he exactly knew the parents reaction. He still went ahead with it, why? this is going to make newspapers Series is going to get more popular, TRP's are going to be great doesnt matter if it is over a parent's anguish and a child's heartbreak, There is money to be made

Just an opinion, you can have your own, This was mine

I have been reading the forum for a long time, never posted anything before though. I love the show. I am in US, so we just saw the episode where Aishwarya sang 'Chalka Chalka' yesterday and the parents of other contestants started objecting to why Aishwarya can not come back to the show. I feel this is a show for kids to showcase their talent and get proper direction from the judges/mentors. However, the way the parents of these kids behave is weird. When the kids are being graded, parents are all nervous, jittery, praying - I mean it is a lot of pressure on the child who has been courageous enough to go up on the stage and perform. I think the parents should just chill and allow the kids to enjoy their performance. On a seperate note, if my child was in the competetion, I would still have supported Aishwarya's entry - just because the stronger the competetion, the more my child would try to bring the best out in her.

Very well said Priya...The talent should be given due respect and encourragement all the times. Two weeks back Shaan anounced and request Principal from all schools to identify tallent so that those children could be given chance to sing duiets with these contestants or allow them direct entry into next compitision.

Aish deserves to be in this show! she sang so well i was stunned! i dont think the parents shud have commented, because its not fair to aishwariya..its not like she chose to be sick!! i think they shud have left it to the judges and i agree wid watever alkaji said because the competition has been thru only one elimination round and in many other shows they have wild card entries where people come into a singin competition in the middle of the competition, and so it wud be better if they took her back rite now..
