It was one late evening when my sister and I arrived home to have been brought up by poor parents within just one meal a day… My father was a heavy drunkard and use to beat up my mother every time he comes home after work.
Myself and my sister, the moment we hear our father come home freak out and go to our well known hiding place, the store room….Although I was the youngest in the family I was a more stubborn child than my sister.. my sister was very soft hearted and she breaks down completely when she sees my mom getting beaten up…
It was this evening that my father beated up my mom so badly that she had to be admitted at hospital. It's then that I decided that I'm one day gonna be breadwinning my entire family leaving out my drunkard father… When my mom was at hospital, my father made several attempts to see her, but it was I who stopped my father from even getting close to my mother… After the final beating my mom had got we got to know that my mom's brain was damaged that she will not be able to move about and she would have to be in bed for some time.
We went through so much hardship since we were poor to cure our mom but to no avail. She was in bed right throughout. Whenever possible I did some laboring to feed my mom and sister and this is how we lived. I did not give up, I took up all responsibilities, work, to come up in life…. It was during this time that we lost out mother. My heart became rock solid after losing my mother…. My sister was like my mom to me….. She looked after me at all times and whenever I come home she feeds me….
The place I was working in as a Labourer, the owner had died suddenly leaving all responsibilities to me. This is how I came up in life to be who I am today Arnav Singh Raizada. I bought the most expensive mansion in the city of Delhi….
This was a big surprise to my sister the only one I Loved and the only loved one I had alive. My pledge to her was to give her all the happiness in life the only one I would live for…….
