Pritish Nandy Communications Ltd has announced the completion of the first schedule of its forthcoming film Honeymoon starring Fardeen Khan and Esha Deol supported by an powerful ensemble cast of Anupam and Kirron Kher, Rohit and Mansi Joshi Roy, Simone Singh and Yashpal Sharma, Raj Zutshi and Tanya Zeita, Kiran Karmarkar and Apara Mehta and Nilima Azim. It also stars televisions top couple Eijaz Khan and Natasha from Kavyanjali. Honeymoon is directed by Meghna Gulzar and has music by Pritam.

Meanwhile, Pyar Ke Side Effects, directed by Saket Chaudhury and starring Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose supported by Ranvir Sheorey, Sophie Choudhury, RJ Tarana, Amir Bashir, Sapna Bhavani, Jas Arora and Sharad Saxena is scheduled for release in August. The music of Pyar Ke Side Effects is also by Pritam and has been acquired and released by T Series. The music entered all the Top 10 charts in the very first week of release.

The Company also announces the ready for release status of two of its films made in Kolkata. The first to release will be Bow Barracks Forever, which has won critical acclaim in festivals all over the world and features a strong ensemble cast comprising of Neha and Lilett Dubey, Victor Banerjee, Rupa Ganguly, Sabysachi Chakravarty, Clayton Rodgers and Moon Moon Sen. The second to release will be Khela, written and directed by Ritupo*no Ghosh, which stare Manisha Koirala, Prasenjit Chatterjee, Raima Sen and Rupa Ganguly. Ghosh is also currently scripting Rahgir and Saheb Biwi Ghulam for the Company, both of which will be going on the floor soon. Also going on the floor is Sudhir Mishras Ab Tera Kya Hoga Johnny? This is Mishras third film with the Company after the hugely successful Chameli and the much acclaimed Hazaaron Khwahishein Aisi.

Mumbai, Feb 3 Director Meghna Gulzar, Who Made Her Debut In Bollywood With "filhaal", Is Ready To Roll Her Second Film "honeymoon" - A Comedy With Fardeen Khan And Esha Deol,Anupam Kher,Kirron Kher,Raj Zutshi,Simone Singh and she has also cast 6 actors from balaji telefilms Ejaz Khan, Anita Hasnandani, Apara Mehta, Kiran karmarkar,Rohit Roy and Mansi roy..

The second film is always tougher than the first. But then everyone knew Gulzar saab's shy but sure daughter would make it beyond her debut.

"It feels like a long exile. Everyone presumed I wasn't making another film. But I wasn't sitting around waiting for opportunity to fall into my lap... It never does. But neither could I go around asking producers to give me a film. That isn't me," she told IANS.

She tried putting together a project called "Mehfooz".

"But that didn't work out. I know I'll make that film some day. Maybe the one after my second film..."

It was finally the ever-enterprising Pritish Nandy who came forward to produce Meghna's second feature film.

Young filmmaker Meghna Gulzar 's new film takes a peek into arranged marriages.

The filmstars fardeen khanand Esha Deol as a newly wed couple on their honeymoon. Their marriage is not a love marriage, but an arranged one.

Meghna is quoted by a Mumbai-based newspaper as saying this about her movie: "I can't claim to offer a different take on a honeymooning couple…I am going to present a slice of their life in a film, the issues that couples married through an arranged set-up go through."
