Why divorce? Why not annulment?

I'm surprised that Sanchi file for divorce. Why did she not file for annulment?

Her marriage was performed at gunpoint against her will, she has never lived even a single day with Indu, and their marriage has not been consummated.

Its a perfect candidate for an annulment.

And annulment is declared instantly. No need to go through the six month process.

But I guess this is a Hindi show...

I hear what you're saying Yuks it would have probably made more logical sense but then what would we have watched? Haha. And yup, it is a Indian Serial after all- drama is needed 24/7 😉

I think her biggest mistake was she didnt file a FIR against Indu ...

So, what is the proof of forced wedding ?

When you're up against a political hot shot proving murder and assault is difficult enough in India these days... forget kidnapped/forced wedding.. especially when there were no eyewitnesses other than her own dad who might be overruled (due to close tie with defendant)

Also, she didn't go to the station immediately; so Tarachand's bruises etc must have healed... no proof there either...yes we can argue she looked like a dead horse during the wedding (in photos/recording etc) but then again, this is a drama and other far more illogical things are happening in this serial compared to the forced wedding-divorce/annullment issue

Also, Indu didn't charge her for having him imprisoned under false charges - with the fake Veena suicide... so i guess... its all part of their games...
