this should aniket's decision as sanyukta and nikhilesh were allowed to marry of their own choice even if it was after four years.

Neither...they are butting in too much... Why should family members decide on behalf of Aniket? Let Aniket decide. Expressing your doubts and displeasure is one thing, and asking family means to vote wether Aniket should marry Tejal or not is another thing.

And if they are siding and voting, I strongly feel that Shashwat's vote should not be counted.

Nikilesh, as he is not blinded by his ego.
Instead he is looking into his son's heart and doing whats best for his son.
Even after all their efforts, they could not bring Aniket out of his shell.
But Tejal was able to, there must be some magic they both share.
