I think he was great, he has the confidence and the voice, unlike what everyone else is saying its not biased, every judge in every show has its favorite contestant!

I understand that Pandit Jasraj is coming in the next round. I love to hear all the contestant sing classical songs.

1 singer cant win it twice, thats why Vipul dont get it after being 1st all the weeks.. the one the left that havent won were Sohini, Rtika, Amit and Dev and Dev deserved it more

and i am sure Lata Ji and Asha Ji knows better about singing than all of us complaining here about that he sounds like 12 old, this and that..remember Lata and Asha knows better than all of us.. and they wont praise him like that

Lata praised him during the times he sang very well in a couple of episodes. If I mistake not they were all non-bollywood numbers (religious or private punjabi numbers).

Ever since he had to sing bollywood songs, it did not work for him as his voice is a bit kiddish for playback singing. I think this issue is similar to Poorvi's as he can sing well in his genre (gurbani and punjabi folk) but not versatile for bollywood playback singing.

Though it was not fair, they used mostly Vipul and Kaushik yesterday for most tribute numbers (and they did excellent) and hardly used Devender and Amit. Amit may not be as good a singer as Dev, but atleast his voice is more mature and I am sure has more potential in time. That's why i prefer Amit to Devender

If Devender comes back in few years, I am sure he will be much better for playback

Yes, he did sing ok, did feel he was dragging quite a bit and was having difficulty.

Rahi baat judges ki, Jitna bhi unke baare mein likhe kam hi hoga.😆

I still feel he did not deserve it on THAT particular day.

He definitely has a bright future, whether in bollywood or elsewhere, no idea.

Vipul clearly deserved it, but of course they did not want to give it to him again. I did not like Devendar's performance at all. It might have been technically okay, but I didn't connect with it. It was completely void of emotion and expression. It's ridiculous the amount of praise he got for it. He's had better performances in the past! At 17, I feel like his voice is so immature that it's extremely difficult to connect with.
