Khushi stood up angrily. "Nahi chahiye mujhe .. nahi sunna hain mujhe.." (No, I dont need it.. I dont want to hear)

I raised my eyebrows. "I see.. so you don't mind if Arnav leaves you?"

"Nahi' humhe farq nahi padta." (No. It doesn't matter to me)

"I see.. then why did you risk your life to find him .. he did leave you."

"Woh.. woh.. unki jaan khatre main the.." (That.. his life was in danger)

"So? It doesn't matter to you right.."

She remained quiet, looking down.

"When will you tell him Khushi that you love him? When will you show him that you do consider him as your husband? When? I heard you scream to Shyam that you love Arnav, but you don't want to tell Arnav himself?"

"Tumne mujhe sunaa.. par kaise.. tum waha the?" (You heard me? How? Were you there?)

"Khushi.. stop asking me such questions'" I paused and then raised my eyebrows. "You know what, maybe I will tell you the truth." I leaned in closer to her and said, "I know everything because your Devi Maiyya sent me to you to make you happy." She raised her eyebrows. "Kya?" "Yes, Khushi. If you listen to me, you will be happy and .. " I paused, and with a naughty smirk said, "satisfied."

"Ok, now where were we?" I said, standing up. "So Khushi, answer me. Do you love him?" Khushi looked confused.

"Woh.. main.." (That.. I)

"What? I can't hear you."

"Woh.. main.. "

"Yes or no, Khushi?"

She opened her mouth and then closed it, then slightly nodded.

"Good. Then why have you never kissed him?"

"Kiss.. aur hum? Hum kaise?" (Kiss.. and I.. how can I?)

"Why? He has kissed you. Why can't you kiss him?"

Khushi blushed, and touched her cheek, remembering how he kissed her earlier.

"Look at you blushing. See how warm you feel just remembering his kiss. That is because you can feel his love for you. Don't you think he wants it too? Don't you think he wants to feel your love for him?"

She looked at me, her eyes widened. Her eyes softened, but then filled up with tears.

"Kyun? Unho ne humhe sirf dard diya hain." (Why? He has given me only pain)

"I know." I took her hand in mine. "But he is sorry about it. He wants to make it up to you. He wants to love you and take away all your sorrow. He wants you to know that he loves you."

"Mujhe pata hain.. main bhi usse.." she started, but then paused, as she realized what she was saying. (I know.. and I also love him)

"Good. Now back to the kiss. You love him; you should let him know. Knowing that you are mad at him is going to hurt him more than seeing his Di in pain. You don't want that now, do you?"

Khushi looked at me and shook her head.

"Par hum unhe kaise.." (But how can I )

I folded my arms. "Khushi, have you listened to yourself? You say you can do anything he can do. But you can't kiss him."

She looked at me angrily.

"Par humne unhe uss din kiss kiya tha.."

"Yes, I remember. But he has kissed you 7 times after that and tried to kiss you 5 more times. And you? Do you see? He has finally found a challenge that he can win and sadly, you are letting him win."

She raised her eyebrows, as it struck her. Then she looked at me, her mouth wide open.

"So are you going to let your Laad Governor win?"

Khushi folded her arms, "kabhi nahi." (Never)

"Good." I smiled.

Ok, I honestly don't know how to continue this.

I first thought of doing emotional stuff, make her realize that she loves him.. that she always loved him.. but then realized that the challenge is what makes her tick. What do you think? emotional or challenge?

Should I give her a long lecture, in batches (first kiss, then lip kiss ... then you know.. 😳 ) or just give her advice and leave?
