TOI: Ashish in French Silent Film

TV hottie Ashish Kapoor has been in the news for a while now. His current show on SONY TV,Dekha Ek Khwaab is set to go off air soon.

But Ashish is second time lucky as his new show for the same channel, Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage is expected to go on air soon. But serials are not the only thing that are keeping this actor busy. The handsome boy from Delhi has been approached for a French silent film! Yes, you heard it right! Says Ashish, "I've been approached for a French silent film and I really want to do it because it's something so different".

The film will be shot in France and a successful writer (who has many shows to his credit) has been approached to write the screenplay. Adds Ashish, "You have to play a mime game and that's what I find challenging". This film will be made for an international market, circulating to international film festivals.

So what will the story be like? And what role does Ashish play in it? Here's the low down.
Ashish plays an actor in the film who goes for an audition and fails to clear it. On his way out, while he's walking on the streets, he bumps into a beautiful girl who has a passion for collecting music from across the world. She approaches Ashish's character and takes him for another audition which he clears and gets selected for that role.

But on the final day tragedy strikes! As his character is on stage performing in the play, he finds out that the girl who introduced him has met with an accident. Although the film will be shot in France, Ashish's character will be of Indian origin.
