so far the impression given is - his dad is not picture - may be dead. But he had said Mujhe ghar Waloon se baat karni hogi .. which means plural.

His dad isnt dead...remember what that lady in the temple said...maybe he has a step dad...thats why he struggled in life...thats why he loves if somebody shows love and affection towards him...just maybe!!!
