Infact, she is no way closely related to Rashi, apart from the fact that this is a joint family? Why does Urmila have this urge to gain importance and prove her worth to everyone around her? She's got this complex that always drives her to do things that gives her recognition in the society and makes people acknowledge her. Perhaps this is stemmed by years in povery and being a nobody and that's why she got her daughter married in this family. But then trying wrangle out every invitation is just pathetic. And trying to get even with the entire family because she didn't get invited is simply a newer low, even for her. I find it really odd she would go to the extent of calling the neighbors to settle her scores.
Rashi...You must stand up against your mum now.
And CVs... Is this really what you want your audience to see? How to get back at the slightest assumption of percieved contempt and insult? I thought the underlying message beneath all stories is the emancipation of the human spirit and victory of good over evil but seeing almost all the plans of URSHI succeed, this looks too much to ask for.
What else can we do but bear the torture for yet another story of revenge and how to achieve those means?
